It would have been nice for the hotel to call and let us know that the fitness center and pool was not available. The lady at the counter at check in was very unfriendly or welcoming. She gave me the option to not stay if I wanted but I went Through a third party so not refundable. It is possible but would require work on her part. I only booked here because of the pool and fitness center where I would have chosen another location knowing this. I am a general manager at a 4 diamond hotel and I obviously don't expect things to be to that level but there are certainly basic costumer services that go a long way. Room is ok but you can tell the staff just doesn't care. The breakfast attendant on the other hand was very unfriendly and kept everything full and nice and tidy.

Needs more parking spots near entrance and in general. Needs to cut back decorative grasses around parking areas-looks crappy,scary. Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast choices excellent.

I requested two rooms for our family because we were in town for a wedding. I was assured that we could get them close to each other at least on the same floor. This was confirmed on two occasions after calling the front desk. We got two rooms on two different floors. The woman that checked us was not pleasant. We felt like we were interrupting her when we were checking in. The pool and workout room were not in service. The breakfast was nice.

Having breakfast was great. Also, we liked the fridge, microwave, desk, and all the outlets around the room. Beds are comfortable. There is ample bathroom counter space. The gym is a bit warm though.

First thing, beautiful country drive to get there. Staff very helpful. I enjoyed using the fitness center and pool. The breakfast was outstanding. My only complaint, the bed. With my back issues that bed is way too hard, same for the pillows, they are very heavy hard. If not for that I would have rated even higher. Overall, excellent!

We booked this hotel because the web site said the POOL was open, when we arrived with (2) of my grandchildren the pool was CLOSED. I would have booked another hotel with a real open pool had I known. I feel jipped.

I stay at a lot of hotels, but rarely have I stayed anywhere as squeaky lean and well appointed as this one. I thought it was a brand new hotel from the appearance and was shocked to learn it was over ten years old. You can’t go wrong with this place.

It's ok if you're staying over for a show at CMAC. When we first arrived the room straight up smelled like a swamp. We were on the side of the building that had a marsh so the room reeked like algae and fishy swampwater. Once the air was turned on, it slowly went away. The place was surface clean but you could tell it hadn't been deep cleaned in a while. The carpets could use a good steam cleaning. Overall not a bad place to crash for a night but definitely not a place I would want to spend multiple nights in. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful and breakfast was decent.

It was noticeable that the hotel was severely understaffed. All trash cans were overflowing at all hours of the day. What we found was the worst was how thin the walls were. The sounds of doors slamming until 2 a.m. children running and a strong odor of cigarette in the stairwell. Only one outlet worked in the room.

We were very pleased with the welcoming, helpful staff. The room was comfortable, with excellent beds and all equipment functional. We much appreciated the breakfast (included), offering delicious food items every day, some of the sweets being made on site.

Extremely noisey! Complained to desk about thumping in the room above us. It lasted for 2 hours and began again at the crack of dawn? Either the floors are too thin to stop the sound, or other guests were letting kids run wild? Worst hotel stay in years!!!

Front desk jai was very nice,professional and helpful. The lobby has a very modern look with ample seating. Elevator is fast. My room was large,quiet and clean the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean,the shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. This hotel is very close to town and the lake,with plenty of dining and shopping nearby. I will definitely stay here again. A +++

There was confusion during check in and was told the card used on hotels.com was not processing and then had me give another card. Now I have 2 room charges on 2 separate cards and the hotel has been extremely unhelpful with getting this resolved despite hotels.com customer service reaching out on multiple occasions and providing photos of the dual charges. Avoid this hotel. Plenty of others close by.

The desk clerk Amber informed me that i double booked rooms through Hotels.com for this stay. Not sure how this happened. I only intended to book one room. She instructed me to cancel one of the bookings and Holiday Inn would not charge Hotels.com for the cancelled room. Thank God Amber caught this and was able to help me out. Now i have to see if Hotels.com will refund my money.

Pay attention to your account, I was charged 4 times during my stay total $2300 for a stay that should cost $874, when ask management about my money they call the police and told me not to go back to my room, I was forced to leave, it’s 8 days now and the issues not resolved, they still owed me all that money, the manager at the hotel has a very bad attitude

Fire alarm situation couldn’t be helped but the staff could have been much more informative. Someone could have kept us up to date during a long very cold wait. Also, there never seemed to be anyone at the front desk. They would only come out if they saw you on camera and it could take awhile.

The staff especially Maya was very helpful. My kid threw up all over his car seat, and Maya was very helpful in lending me a hand with the laundry services. She was extremely considerate, and I was grateful to have a clean car seat the next day.

Checking in was simple and well handled. Staff was knowledgeable and courteous. Danielle was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. We had not been in a hotel since 2012 and were not sure how things are done now. We were very happy with the whole experience.

Very nice hotel. We walked to the lake and to the city restaurants and logged about 6 miles of walking. The city is set up well for walking.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The first time I booked the wrong date (long days of travel) and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in getting me a room that night. This time I arrived very late, check in was fast and without any hiccups. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The building is nice and well kept but there isn’t much within walking distance as the location is tucked in behind a retail plaza.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The first time I booked the wrong date (long days of travel) and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in getting me a room that night. This time I arrived very late, check in was fast and without any hiccups. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The building is nice and well kept but there isn’t much within walking distance as the location is tucked in behind a retail plaza.

First room we had a person made a complaint because I came WTH my 2 year old making noise and being loud plus there was a stink bug in the room window curtains second room we had a bee inside the room by the window Pool was closed by the time we left they said it was open but wasn’t heated it was cold Breakfast was not that great we had potatoes hard coffee was a 1 out of ten we couldn’t get the stuff inside fridge cold quick it took a while to get cold

All of the staff were friendly. breakfast was good. the hotel was very understaffed. I let the young lady at the desk know that the lobby restrooms were in need of cleaning. she went to do it herself. Our toilet broke on day 2 of a three day stay. The young man at the desk tried to fix it. It needed a part that he didn't have. So we need to remove the lid from the tank and reach in to flush. When we tried to check out the young man watching the desk was unable to do so. He didn't have the password to access the computer. I want you to know that none of this was the fault of the staff we encountered. They all went out of their way to be helpful. The problem was due to being woefully understaffed every day of our visit.

Would not return. After check in, I never saw staff at the reception desk or any place. There was a strange rider as you entered the building. No written material or instructions in the room as to use of TV, HVAC system, etc.. You could hear every footstep from the room above us and also when they used the shower. Given all of the above, the hotel was way over priced.
