The property is walking distance to the shoreline and there are various walking trails in the area. They have a nice bar, terrace and breakfast area. This seems like the perfect location for a wedding. What I did not like was the one car width road to access the property that had heavy traffic. It is completely impractical and dangerous for that volume of traffic. The staff is comprised of slackers and those picking up the slack and it's fairly evident who is who. It would be nice to see everyone pulling their weight instead of some standing around aloof and others running around like crazy to pick up the slack.

We had a lovely time in the Eype Mouth Country Hotel. We upgraded to a sea view room, which was really nice and comfy. The bar meals and the breakfast were nice and tasty and very filling. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and a big thumbs up goes especially to Abbie. We even had nice, yummy cake waiting for us in our room. Thanks Abbie and team, from Rob and Sue, room number 6.

The Admiral restaurant is amazing. Definitely 5-star cuisine. Unfortunately the hotel is in need of modernization and a deep cleaning. Room/shower stall was very small and water pressure in the shower was very low.

Warm welcome. I was allocated a double room with seaview which was very clean and comfortable. It had a good sized television which I appreciated. Also complimentary homemade cake which I enjoyed with my first cuppa. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Would rebook.

Beautiful setting. Road very narrow to hotel and beach ( not hotels fault obviously) but hard to navigate by car or a bit precarious for walking!..receptionists very helpful. Room not entirely clean ( sink very dirty) and no tea bags.. bathroom fixtures wobbly ,but overall tastefully decorated, comfortable and lovely complimentary extras. Breakfast perfect . Good service.

The Admiral restaurant is amazing. Definitely 5-star cuisine. Unfortunately the hotel is in need of modernization and a deep cleaning. Room/shower stall was very small and water pressure in the shower was very low.

Very nice stay for two nights, clearly you can see the refurbishment is on going and the areas complete is very good, Emilia was good, knowledge of the area was good, Amelie was very good too. We travel a lot and some hotels we go to should experience these two at work they are both a credit to the industry. 10/10.

Acceptable have stayed in better hotels for same /less money room very small decor is dated looked out on house being renovated one radiator not working staff were amazing very helpful and friendly breakfast menu was OK there was no vegetarian option but was able to ask for specific items on last evening we asked for sandwiches to be made so we could eat them later after kitchen had closed They were very disappointing a cheese and pickle sandwich was my option and lots of cheese fell out and when I removed pickle there was hardly any cheese left very poor quality sandwiches

We enjoyed our stay. Convenient for long walks and for us better than staying in bridport. The bathroom was on the small side. We felt that our recently refurbished room could do with another refurbish along with the rest of the hotel. It was adequate though and the staff were very friendly

Turned us away saying they didn’t have our booking. This resulted in ruining our entire weekend, as we were attending a wedding in which we had to leave early to get back home instead of enjoying the celebrations all evening and staying locally like planned.

Beautiful spot and secluded, allowing for great walks along the cliffs, very hospitable staff, good food, welcome after a long treck, or to set us up nicely for the day with their great breakfast.

Acceptable have stayed in better hotels for same /less money room very small decor is dated looked out on house being renovated one radiator not working staff were amazing very helpful and friendly breakfast menu was OK there was no vegetarian option but was able to ask for specific items on last evening we asked for sandwiches to be made so we could eat them later after kitchen had closed They were very disappointing a cheese and pickle sandwich was my option and lots of cheese fell out and when I removed pickle there was hardly any cheese left very poor quality sandwiches

We had a lovely time in the Eype Mouth Country Hotel. We upgraded to a sea view room, which was really nice and comfy. The bar meals and the breakfast were nice and tasty and very filling. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and a big thumbs up goes especially to Abbie. We even had nice, yummy cake waiting for us in our room. Thanks Abbie and team, from Rob and Sue, room number 6.

Beautiful spot and secluded, allowing for great walks along the cliffs, very hospitable staff, good food, welcome after a long treck, or to set us up nicely for the day with their great breakfast.

Very comfortable with beautiful view. Staff were delightful...so polite and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Slight issue with carpet but that is being replaced soon.

The staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and the breakfasts excellent. The property has aged since I was last there - but that was over 30 years ago! Thank you for a relaxing stay.

We spent a week in this hotel,we are both elderly,the staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good service immaculate.wonderful views we loved it.

We last stayed here sometime in the 1980s and it was a tad dismal: things have changed - a lot! Made very welcome by the reception staff, room quite small, but perfectly clean and well appointed, with a couple of cake morsel treats together with a hand written card to welcome us, which was a very nice touch. We were in the middle of heatwave, so it was a bonus to find a very efficient fan in the wardrobe: tea and coffee-making facilities and two bottles of water complete the set-up and were much appreciated. We ate in the Admirals' Bar, and the food was excellent, as were the hard-working, friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was also excellent, once again served by friendly staff. Quite sad to leave after only one night and will almost certainly return next time we're in the area. Only one small downside, if you like a firm mattress, you may find these a little too soft, but we both slept extremely well.

Superb little hotel. Spotlessly clean and good vaue for money. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the meals were first class. Special praise for the chef. Would book again without hesitation.

Although the hotel is an older building, all of the furnishings in the rooms, reception and dining room were very tasteful. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from both cooked and continental. Overall a very good stay
