Probably one of the top 3 Motel 6 i have stayed in and one of the best on my work trips. The only complaint was water pressure, but that is the same for most hotels.

The hotel is adequate and staff were friendly and helpful. Missing was what I would expect for $100/night. Things like a hairdryer and tissues in the room. Carpeting. More than one soap in the bathroom. Shampoo and conditioner. Towels that don't look like old gym towels. A bed that at least comes with an extra pillow or blanket and a comforter that is thicker than a piece of paper. I guess they're no longer keeping all the lights on at Motel 6.

Rented four room and everyone of the room was filthy. There was hair all over the bed amd the bath room were dirty. I was running late due to a snow store. Called the hotel let them know i was running late. And they told me they would inform the night staff. The night staff did call to confirm we were still staying there and we confirmed. The second the owner contacted us trying to give our room away because we didnt show up when he wanted us to after we confirmed. I dont recommend this place and will not ever stay here again.

I travel full time and end up staying at motel 6 often due to the consistency of what to expect and price for a one night stop. But one surpassed my expectations! The shower stayed hot and was clean, I didn’t spot a single bug, and it had all of the amenities I needed for the night. The bed was okay, but honestly if you’re on I80 this is a great place to stop. The area is safe, as a solo female traveler, that is a must. I love that all of the rooms are inside and there’s no outside access. The lady at the front was nice, wifi was amazing, and even the coffee gets an 8/10 from me.

They tried to bait and switch me. Paid for a king but when I got here they said I couldn’t have one because I had a pet, but weren’t going to charge me less for a smaller room. Front desk person was rude and argumentative about it and tried to claim he couldn’t charge me less. Had to stand my ground to get charged the correct price.

Only issue we had centered around our door being left slightly ajar by the housekeeping staff. An issue with the door’s bolt mechanism did not allow it to close properly and they did not notice. Spoke directly with the owner who was not happy with the situation and addressed it immediately. We ended up extending our stay by an additional day.

The nicest Motel 6 we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in 4 in the past 2months. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy on easy off the highway but yet quiet. Very clean.

New or maintained like new, exceptionally clean. Staff and owner were very friendly and concerned that our stay went well. Only issue was a county road maintenance issue. We had to cross a broken out median to access the property. Gas and food were available within walking distance. Area was pretty quiet and we had a good sleep.

This was a quick overnight stay. The room was adequate. Some dust in the shelves for towel storage. No amenities: Coffee pot in the room or breakfast area (toaster to fix your own). Also it is interesting to note that most all but one of the restaurants in Avoca are closed on Sunday.

I travel full time and end up staying at motel 6 often due to the consistency of what to expect and price for a one night stop. But one surpassed my expectations! The shower stayed hot and was clean, I didn’t spot a single bug, and it had all of the amenities I needed for the night. The bed was okay, but honestly if you’re on I80 this is a great place to stop. The area is safe, as a solo female traveler, that is a must. I love that all of the rooms are inside and there’s no outside access. The lady at the front was nice, wifi was amazing, and even the coffee gets an 8/10 from me.

When we stayed here a few years ago, we felt it was very nice for a low-budget property. Now, the ownership has let the property fall into disrepair. One of the beds in our room squeaks with every move. Toilet roll holder one pull from falling off the wall. Breakfast option under repair, even though they have a sign in the lobby advertising breakfast. Why?

Property was clean, room was clean. City had a possible problem with water so was given bottled water for drinking. Bathroom fan noisy when the light was turned on, TV remote wouldn’t change channels but the host fiddled with the cable and got it to work if you pointed at the TV above your head. On site restaurant was closed, but there was a Subway across the parking lot.

This Motel 6 is an older property, with small sections of the formica missing from the desk and loose stick-on grouting at the shower interface with the floor, but with a new laminate wood floor and a nice inside paint job. The window screen appears to have been shredded by high winds, and that wasn't fixed yet. That said, the property seemed otherwise to be in solid condition, was conveniently located and in a safe area, and had a really helpful desk clerk. The bed was very comfortable, the TV had way too many channels, and I was surprised to find a microwave and a mini-fridge in the room. We plan to stay there again!

Because we were there during ragbrai all that was left were smoking rooms. We do not smoke and don’t love the smell, so we were not a fan of that, but the staff was very friendly and the place was clean.
