Carmella Boutique Hotel - Spa & Shelter Access

Vi ångrar att vi bokade detta hotell. Det ligger på toppen av Mt Carmel och det var inte optimalt att bo där under shabbat när Carmelit inte gick. Restaurangutbudet i området är dessutom väldigt dåligt, det finns endast en bra restaurang i närheten av hotellet, resten är fast food. Renligheten på rummen lämnar en hel del att önska. Badrummet var dåligt städat vid vår ankomst och även efter att vi påpekade det i receptionen blev det inte mycket bättre. De putsade aldrig kranen vare sig innan vår ankomst eller under vår vistelse, spegeln var smutsig och vi hade sand i duschen. Knappast ett boutique hotell!

This is such a lovely quiet boutique hotel. The thing that stands out most is it’s absolutely the most spotlessly clean place I’ve ever been in they go out of their way to keep it beautiful. Although there is no restaurant or food service so to speak they always have a good coffee and some little cookie snacks available and you can enjoy it out on the terrace with lovely flowers around. A great spot and only around the corner a few blocks to get on the main street to have a bite. Thank you so much at the front desk they are always accommodating and helpful.

The hotel was fine overall. The main reason for the lower rating is the generally unpleasant interactions with the younger Russian-speaking woman at the front desk who seems to dislike her job and the guests. The other reason is that our key was not programmed correctly and there is no one staffing the front desk after hours. It took us a long time to reach someone to let us into our room remotely. No apology or anything else was offered.

Soothing atmosphere, perfect escape for the weekend

Clean, cute, comfortable. What more could you ask for? Our favorite hotel of our trip. Would definitely stay again.
