My stay here was amazing.. The owner Francesco went above and beyond.. helped with everything from dining options to sightseeing options, hot to get to sights. he even helped me with my bags to the train station across the street. (i have a bad back) i definitely would recommend this place when in room.. The room was excellent bathroom very spacious and clean. a nice balcony to have a nice cup of coffee and hang out.. Vatican city is walking distance. transportation is very accessible we went to Trevi Fountain Roman Colosseum. Highle recommended

One of my favorite stays in a month visit to Europe! Out of the hubbub of central Rome, but easily walkable to St. Peter’s. Train and buses within 2 blocks. Quiet and local. Francesco, the owner, was a great host, making great suggestions and making himself available by phone at any time and for any reason. The room was well appointed, immaculate and so quiet. No big hotel amenities( or charges) but a common room and balcony if wanted. Hearing the church bells was delightful but not loud enough to disturb me. Corner bakery and lots of restaurants within easy walking. Loved it!

Ontvangst was heel prettig. Veel tips gekregen van receptionist. Omgeving is rustig. Zijn 5 kamers waardoor je weinig mee krijgt van andere gasten. Wat miste waren glazen om water te drinken.

We had an amazing time. Francesco, our host was incredible. He took the time to explain how to get everywhere. He booked our transport from airport to the hotel & from the hotel to the train station. When we arrived at his hotel he took almost 1 hour to explain how to get to all the major attractions of the city. He explained how to manage in getting attractions tickets at the last minute! Very close to Vatican City, room is very clean, the common area very clean. We had earl check in and we could leave our luggage while we waited for our train ! At the end we highly recommed Leonardo Da Vinci guesthouse, Francesco is an incredible host !thanks for everything Grazie Pasy

From before I even arrived, Francesco was so helpful with my planning and arrangements. You will not regret staying at this space!! We had a room with a balcony which was quite lovely to sit out on and relax/regroup after exploring Rome. Everything was immaculate and up to date and modern amenities. We were even able to leave our luggage behind while we did another day of exploring the city, after we had checked out.. which was so appreciated!! The most gracious and kindest host!! He will warm your heart and make you feel like he has known you forever and will guide you along the way!!!

Francesco super amable, nos recomendó de todo, desde dónde desayunar, comer o cenar a buen precio, cómo coger el transporte público... Las habitaciones amplias, cómodas y limpia. En las zona común hay una sala con mesas para poder sentarse a comer algo que hayas llevado (no hay cafeteria)

Very close to the Vatican & bus lines in a small quite neighborhood, this place is clean, clean, clean as if an army of nuns do the cleaning, the only dirt in this place comes on your shoes, the room is very modern, bright with white sheets, several pillows, decoratve bronze bed runner & pillows, the room has electric operated roll down blinds that block out all the light so set your alarm clock beacuse you will sleep like a baby, the room has nice modern suitcase & clothes storage & small tv, the bathroom is clean & bright with decoatve tiles, the shower is on the small size so the very robust clients may not find it the most comfortable, the shower has nice warm water with a rain drop shower head & a hand held unit, the bathroom has small low seat tiolet & a bidet, the room is secured with an electron card key sytem, the complex has five rooms all secured by the card key system, a community snack room / breakfast area with an outside smoking viewing area, the building has a small elevator for two so abundant luggage may take a couple trips, our stay was extremly comfortable & relaxing, this is hands down the very best small hotel / motel in Rome, your host Francesco is the nicest, most helpful & considerate person in Rome, he helps with taxis, bus routes, maps, restaurants & sight seeing so enjoy your stay Rome

We loved staying here! The location was great and the facility is very nice and clean. The best part of our experience though was Francesco at the front desk! He was so warm, welcome, and helpful! Note the special instructions on checking in. You need to make an arrangement for them to meet you at the front. It’s not staffed 24 hours a day.

This Guest house is perfect … Francesco the owner is spectacular ! He looked after us with great information and kindness ! He met us at the door and saw us off at the door … you could not do any better anywhere else ! He gave us a map of everything we needed and the suite had everything we could need … first class amenities , clean comfortable we really could not have been happier ! Excellent stay, excellent service, excellent cleanliness. The host, Francesco,was absolutely excellent! He showed us where to go, and what to do in Rome. He explained everything on a map he provided. The room was located in an excellent spot, as well. A few minutes from the Vatican, the train station, restaurants, cafe's, bus stops, etc..

Very clean and quiet a 5 min slow walk to Vatican. Nice restaurants are daily dinners at papa Rex restaurant around the corner and nice bakery Yumm. Would definitely stay here again

Rating this guest house 10/10. It was the best hotel we ever stayed in many trips we had. Very clean Everyday you arrive from visiting places he make sure the room is clean.👍Franchesco is very nice and accomodating. He treat his guests like a family. From day 1 til our last day. One thing that amaze us is.. he even sent us to the train station for our smooth transfer to the airport.. and guess what? He carries our luggage onto the stairs at Sn Pietro de Roma.He guide us everyday with our etinerary plans using the map. It made us easy to go around considering its our first time in Rome.Down the hotel is a resto called Goose where we go for our daily meal. Teodora was very nice! Always smile and the staff there knows us whenever we come for a meal for our dinner.Its highly recommendable to tourists guests and if ever we decide to be back in Rome. This will be the same place of our choice.And one more thing. Even we were delayed with check in due to delayed flight. He still waited for us in the reception arriving around 10 ish in the evening.The location is perfect! Just about 5 mins walk to St Peters Basilica where you could be early avoiding ques as Franchesco will help in requesting tickets to enter the Vatican for free..

The room was very spacious, clean and room well appointed. It felt like a new outfitted room. The check in with Francesco was extremely helpful. We visited all of his restaurant suggestions and enjoyed them especially DAI MIEI! Rome was an incredible city.

From the moment we arrived, Francesco, the host, made us feel incredibly welcome. We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Vatican City, and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived, our concierge Francesco was engaging, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable with our options for the week. The room was very clean, and housekeeping kept it so. When we come back to Rome in a couple of years, we are definitely rebooking here! Vinnie and Ronda say Grazie Mille to Francesco!

The room was immaculate and very comfortable, with all the amenities including a safe and tea kettle. The blinds and sound proofing were especially effective! But it was Francesco and his great hospitality who made the stay perfect. He organized transfers and took extra time to answer my (many!) questions. He also shared helpful tips on sights, restaurants transportation, everything I needed. The guest house is ideally located near Vatican City (10-minute walk), with small convenience shops and restaurants around the corner. All together, It's a wonderful place to stay. I reccommend it highly and hope to return!

I'm glad we stayed at this guest house. Overall wonderful experience. Location....20-minute walk to St Peters/Vatican museums, 5-minute walk to bus stop, 10 minutes to a grocery store and around the corner from a few local restaurants. Host.... Francesco is awesome!! Answered my questions prior to arrival and gave great advice on getting around the area. A super nice guy! Room....not huge by US standards but very nice. Clean, well appointed, comfortable bedding, very modern. A nice feature is the blackout shade to help adjust after an overnight flight from the states. I can't say enough good things about our stay at this guest house and will stay there again the next time we are in Rome.

Location....20-minute walk to St Peters/Vatican museums, 5-minute walk to bus stop, 10 minutes to a grocery store and around the corner from a few local restaurants. Host.... Francesco is awesome!! Answered my questions prior to arrival and gave great advice on getting around the area. A super nice guy! Room....not huge by US standards but very nice. Clean, well appointed, comfortable bedding, very modern. A nice feature is the blackout shade to help adjust after an overnight flight from the states. I can't say enough good things about our stay at this guest house and will stay there again the next time we are in Rome.

We booked this quiet hotel based on the location to the Vatican. It is privately owned and Francesco is the kindest guy ever!! The rooms were quiet and meticulous, the hotel within walking distance to the Vatican and some restaurants. If you want a peaceful stay with he vatican bells ringing softly in the morning...this is your hotel! Thanks Francesco for everything!

I fully recommend booking the Guest House. We booked a double room, but due to an opening we were upgrated to a big 4-person bedroom for free. The rooms are beautiful, bright, modern and have newly renovated bathrooms. We are quite particular when it comes to cleanliness in hotels and felt perfectly comfortable, as the room was absolutely spotless. Francesco, the owner, was a very friendly and helpful host, who took a lot of time to recommend the most important sights, tobgive us some tour ideas and to suggest some fantastic italian restaurants all over the city. We were also very happy with the location as the guest house is just 5-10minutes away from the San Pietro basilica and square, another 10minutes from the Vatican museum including sistins chapel or the Sant'Angelo castel. From there on you can cross the Tiber, where you find yourself in beautiful romantic narrow streets leading you within 15min to Piazza Navona and further sights of the inner city. The Colosseo and Foro romano can be easily reached by a bus without having to change buslines, the bus station is just 3minutes from the guest house. The area felt totaly safe for 2 women to walk late in the evening. The guest house is near the railroad, we heard the trains in evening from the room, but only a little, it was definetly quite enough. We would surely book Leonardo Guest House again.

The room was very spacious, clean and room well appointed. It felt like a new outfitted room. The check in with Francesco was extremely helpful. We visited all of his restaurant suggestions and enjoyed them especially DAI MIEI! Rome was an incredible city.

Very close to the Vatican & bus lines in a small quite neighborhood, this place is clean, clean, clean as if an army of nuns do the cleaning, the only dirt in this place comes on your shoes, the room is very modern, bright with white sheets, several pillows, decoratve bronze bed runner & pillows, the room has electric operated roll down blinds that block out all the light so set your alarm clock beacuse you will sleep like a baby, the room has nice modern suitcase & clothes storage & small tv, the bathroom is clean & bright with decoatve tiles, the shower is on the small size so the very robust clients may not find it the most comfortable, the shower has nice warm water with a rain drop shower head & a hand held unit, the bathroom has small low seat tiolet & a bidet, the room is secured with an electron card key sytem, the complex has five rooms all secured by the card key system, a community snack room / breakfast area with an outside smoking viewing area, the building has a small elevator for two so abundant luggage may take a couple trips, our stay was extremly comfortable & relaxing, this is hands down the very best small hotel / motel in Rome, your host Francesco is the nicest, most helpful & considerate person in Rome, he helps with taxis, bus routes, maps, restaurants & sight seeing so enjoy your stay Rome

My stay here was amazing.. The owner Francesco went above and beyond.. helped with everything from dining options to sightseeing options, hot to get to sights. he even helped me with my bags to the train station across the street. (i have a bad back) i definitely would recommend this place when in room.. The room was excellent bathroom very spacious and clean. a nice balcony to have a nice cup of coffee and hang out.. Vatican city is walking distance. transportation is very accessible we went to Trevi Fountain Roman Colosseum. Highle recommended

We had an amazing time. Francesco, our host was incredible. He took the time to explain how to get everywhere. He booked our transport from airport to the hotel & from the hotel to the train station. When we arrived at his hotel he took almost 1 hour to explain how to get to all the major attractions of the city. He explained how to manage in getting attractions tickets at the last minute! Very close to Vatican City, room is very clean, the common area very clean. We had earl check in and we could leave our luggage while we waited for our train ! At the end we highly recommed Leonardo Da Vinci guesthouse, Francesco is an incredible host !thanks for everything Grazie Pasy

The property is a 15 minute walk to the Vatican / St Peter's and museum... Ideal location for those interests. Francesco who manages the property is a "Gem"!!! We would go back simply because of him! Extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, he spent 30 minutes when we arrived and mapped out all the sites we would want to tour and provided restaurant recommendation in close proximately to the different sites. He also provided insight to the local transportation including how to navigate and costs. He provided his personal mobile number for us to call anytime if we needed help. We did not realize the need to get tickets for some of local tourists sites (Colosseum, Vatican Museum, etc.) that were sold out weeks in advance, Francesco connected with tour companies to get us in with only 1-2 day notice. On the last day, we needed to leave for the airport at 6 AM and he made arrangements for a transport van that was on time, very professional, at an extremely affordable price. The property itself was VERY CLEAN, comfortable, quiet, and overall a great experience. My spouse and I are 60 and did 27 miles of walking throughout Rome over 3 days... the Leonardo Da Vinci Guest House was a great place to relax and refresh when returning from the day trips.

Just stayed here with my wife and we both loved it! The check in process was excellent and he told us great recommendations for restaurants, popular cites to see and ways to get there. It’s far enough away from the center of Rome to not get hit my the tourist traps and get a more relaxed experience. Then he also called us a cab and we saved a little by not getting an Uber.

Our host was extremely welcoming. He made a point of being there when we checked in and spent. 25 min with us going over the area, sights to see, dining options etc. He showed us our room and went through everything in detail. When we left he helped us with our luggage and waited with us for our taxi. This facility was great and our host was excellent!

One of my favorite stays in a month visit to Europe! Out of the hubbub of central Rome, but easily walkable to St. Peter’s. Train and buses within 2 blocks. Quiet and local. Francesco, the owner, was a great host, making great suggestions and making himself available by phone at any time and for any reason. The room was well appointed, immaculate and so quiet. No big hotel amenities( or charges) but a common room and balcony if wanted. Hearing the church bells was delightful but not loud enough to disturb me. Corner bakery and lots of restaurants within easy walking. Loved it!

Francesco was very welcoming and provided plenty of great tips for restaurants as well as getting around Rome. It was an easy walk to St Peter's Square. Initially we thought the train tracks behind the apt would be an issue, but the noise was minimal.

The Manger of this hotel was incredible. He was there to help at all times and when we arrived spent 15 minutes walking us through a map of Rome and picking out things to visit and great ideas for everything (shopping, dining, coffee, groceries). Everything he recommended was absolutely spot on. The location itself was really cool in Vatican City area and we walked everywhere for the three nights we were there no problem. So many great restaurants within a couple hundred meters and a nice place for wine and drinks literally 50 meters outside the door. Could not have been happier.

He was there to help at all times and when we arrived spent 15 minutes walking us through a map of Rome and picking out things to visit and great ideas for everything (shopping, dining, coffee, groceries). Everything he recommended was absolutely spot on. The location itself was really cool in Vatican City area and we walked everywhere for the three nights we were there no problem. So many great restaurants within a couple hundred meters and a nice place for wine and drinks literally 50 meters outside the door. Could not have been happier.

Very clean and quiet a 5 min slow walk to Vatican. Nice restaurants are daily dinners at papa Rex restaurant around the corner and nice bakery Yumm. Would definitely stay here again

The room was very spacious, clean and room well appointed. It felt like a new outfitted room. The check in with Francesco was extremely helpful. We visited all of his restaurant suggestions and enjoyed them especially DAI MIEI! Rome was an incredible city.

Een heel prettig verblijf gehad bij Francesco. Hij neemt de tijd om alles uit te leggen en is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij vertelt over de mooiste bezienswaardigeheden en hoe er te komen. Kamer is zeer schoon en voorzien van een goed werkende airco. Zeker een aanrader en bij een volgend bezoek aan Rome gaan we zeker weer terug.

Very very helpful staff - I received lots of support dealing with airline delays on arrival and modified check-in times, as well as detailed and expert advice on restaurants and attractions around Rome. Also very well located - close to the Vatican and some great restaurant areas. Technically adjacent to train tracks which made me nervous about noise as I'm a light sleeper, but the room was very well soundproofed and I had no issues.

This place is EXCELLENT! The owner is very accommodating as I did not initially realize that the latest check-in time is 8 pm. I called and explained that we will be coming into Rome later and will reach the place at 11 pm. He was there to open his place for us. He explained the location of this place to various sites and places to eat. He arranged for taxi rides when we needed it. The place is very near St Peter's Basilica within a 10 minute walk. It is very near bus stops and places to eat as well. The room is immaculate and very clean with modern amenities. If we ever find ourselves wanting to visit St Peter's in Rome, I will book this place.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room looked like it had been updated not that long ago and was very comfortable. Francesco was super helpful with suggestions of where to eat how/where the buses operate, getting us cabs ect. We found the location to be quite central for what we wanted to see. I would recommend staying here.
