Many pools to choose from . went to two and hot tubs were both not working . For being prime time in the summer , that should not happen as to stay at this hotel was a significant cost . Otherwise stayed in a suite that was quite spacious.

The property is beautiful. The rooms were clean and spacious and had all the kitchen things we would need to prep our am coffees and breakfast.... and other meals if you chose to bring in groceries. But being across the st at the very end of the Villages area it was not convenient to use the beach, and restaurant on the mansion side. We were not supposed to drive and park over at mansion side, but use the shuttle. They need more frequent shuttles. Not great to have to wait 20 min in humid weather and esp in wet sandy beach attire, or when the rain came on our way to dinner. So,we did park by mansion--- feeling rushed and guilty trying to find a parking space. Ocean terrace did a good job of moving all the uncovered tables under the pavillion when a torrential rain and wind passed by--thank you. I prefer the ocean side beach and not the bay side there where the water/tide goes very far out in low tide- a long walk to get in deep enough to cool off.

We were able to check in early which was great. The Villages area is quiet and about a half mile from the main Ocean Edge resort. The room was lovely but for the price we paid for one night a paper towel or napkin in the kitchen area would have been nice. We had to use bath towels for our lunch. Not great. The indoor pool nearest to us was closed for cleaning at 2:30 on a beautiful Saturday with no staff on site. I asked at check in if it was open and we were assured it was ready for guests. Long walk for nothing! Lovely grounds and near restaurants and beach. Beautiful grounds and beach but make sure you check the tides if you plan to swim!

I have been spending my summers at Ocean Edge for 3 years now and have been coming to the Cape for 10 years. I was disappointed that the hot tub for Arbor was closed for the entire week. It is the main reason why we stay in Arbor is to have access to the pool and hot tub. It was inconvenient to go to the mansion for the hot tubs. Otherwise all is good.

The villages, depending on where you stay are an 8 min drive away. Even if you stay in closer villages you still have to travel over a main road. There is a shuttle bus but you would not want to rely on that as they don't come that often. We drove everywhere. You don't feel like you're staying in the ocean edge resort, you feel like it's a trek to get there if you want to visit the beach/ mansion house. We didn't use the main facilities other than the beach which was lovely but only has chairs, no sun beds. We wanted to hire a bike to go on the bike trail but the bike huts were always closed so had to rent one from company locally. The room itself was very nice and had kitchen and living area and washing machine and dryer. Nice pool up in the villages which we enjoyed sitting at one day.

Everything around us was absolutely perfect! The beach the pool with a toddler pool was amazing! The Linx restaurant was delicious and a wonderful atmosphere! The only downfall was the cleanliness of the room. There was hair in the shower and in the bathroom floor upon arrival. There was also blood stains on the couch pillow and couch upon arrival. We didn’t say anything we just moved the pillow and put a blanket down on the couch. While we were out at the beach they put a whole new couch in our room and moved all the furniture, but didn’t put anything back in place left everything moved against the wall, and never said anything. They never re-made the pullout couch for us to sleep on just left the dirty linens in a pile on a chair. Other then those fees housekeeping issues the place and the stay were wonderful! My family had a great time!

We really enjoyed the amenities. The outdoor pools, the beach and the lawn games were great for our family with young kids. Not impressed with the level of cleanliness. There was a musty odor in the hallway, dusty surfaces in the room and paper and hair debris on the carpet in the stairwell leading to the room.

Lovely resort. We really enjoyed our stay. Professional staff. Delicious food at the Ocean Terrace restaurant. Condo was very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the private beach. Wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back next year!

The main facility is nice, the mansion. The village is about 3/4 of a mile away from the main facility. It’s overall, a nice spot, our room had a funky mold smell but overall, good enough.

Beautiful property overall but room accommodations not designed for rest. Uncomfortable, ultra thin and springy pullout bed. Shower pressure was a very low trickle. Room smelled of mildew. Bathroom smelled of urine.

First night the people next to us were so loud, swearing, drinking and very loud Music. Kept us up u til 1:30am. In the bathroom there was black hair everywhere. The bathroom wasn’t very clean.

The villages were top notch! There's nothing like arriving to your room and the service has made sure it will be warm upon your arrival. It is so roomy, impeccably clean, and so affordable for a winter holiday. Will definitely be returning.

The property was not well maintained. There are chips in the tub of Arbor 27B and the entire place smells of Mildred. This needs an update for sure.

I stayed at The Arbors. The room smelled really bad. It seem to be from the carpet. It reeked of mold and mildew. The grounds are absolutely beautiful so I expected our room to be as well. So that was quite a disappointment because that was not the case at all. I have read other peoples reviews about feeling like second class citizens and now I understand why and what they meant. It’s nice you offer a shuttle service but it’s pretty crappy that we didn’t have private beach access… guess if you’re staying at The Arbors you’re not worthy enough. I did enjoy the pool. Everything is pretty spread out and still have to drive to certain things which put a damper on things. I do feel like I could have spent the same amount or less even and got more bang for my buck AND not feel like a second class citizen because I didn’t stay in the Almighty Mansion .

A lovely place. However, the sound barrier between rooms was non existent. The family staying next door to us sounded like they were in our room. When I voiced my concerns to the front desk I was told there wasn't much they could do about it. I have stayed in many places with adjoining rooms and have been unable to hear the people staying next door. I'm not sure why so little thought was given to sound proofing.

Facilities at the Mansion were fine. The building we were assigned to needs significant upgrading/updating. 1. Unacceptable level of humidity, particularly at the entry of the enclosed entry to the staircases leading to the units, where there no ventilation whatsoever !! definitively unhealthy. Wonder if the dry cough I developed during my stay had anything to do with it. 2. Extremely noisy AC units: when the units go off, you invariably wake up. If you want to watch TV, it is only possible when the AC is turned off. It is that loud!!!. A resort like this deserves better AC and ventilation!! 3. The mattress needs to be changed! Loosing shape and firmness 4. Dining was fine. Food better than service, but still acceptable

We stayed in 32C in Arbor Village. Proximity to the pool and Lynx restaurant was great. The one BR flat was very tidy. The open plan kitchen/living area was very pleasing and having a washer/dryer was a plus. The bedroom itself was fine, and the bed was spacious and comfortable. The sofabed, however, was a major disappointment. It looked fine as a sofa, but as a bed it was clearly dated, the mattress was thin and lumpy and WAY too short to accommodate anyone over 5’ in height. Had to sleep on the diagonal all 3 nights…and use pillows from the bedroom’s bed. Also, the snoring if the guest in the unit next to ours was completely audibke through the this LR wall. At those prices, I’d hoped for at least a decent night’s sleep…but that did not happen even once. Kitchen was well-equipped, though I’d suggest adding a shallow all-purpose rectangular pan. Tiny coffee maker was okay, but would have been tedious if more than one coffee drinker was staying there. Bathroom was okay, though dated with only so-so water pressure in the shower. Absence if shampoo & conditioner was noted. The grounds were lovely to walk and personnel were very helpful. Our room gave us welcome proximity to family members staying in Billington and Endicott Villages…and my daily lap swimming in the Fletcher Pool was heavenly!!

I liked the ease of checking in. I loved how clean my room was at the Village. The living room, kitchen, bedroom was good in size, however this unit states it sleeps 4 and I think it would be tight. The bathroom is especially small. The fan in the bathroom was not working. There was no shower liner, but again clean. What I think was the worst part of staying here, which will keep me from staying here again, is no internet connection. That was so frustrating. The worst part however, is how thin the walls are. Once the kids settled down, there was two men, and I don't know what they were watching, but yelling so loud continuously, like they were at a football game. We knocked on the wall, then my husband got up at 4 and walked out to knock on their door. He was not sure which unit it was coming from, which I was happy about, because I could tell these guys were in a parting mood and I didn't want it to escalate. When he came back he banged so hard on the wall and it seems they finally got the hint, but that was about 4:30 am. Needless to say it was the worst night sleep for both of us. For those two reasons, I will not be coming back.
I liked the ease of checking in. I loved how clean my room was at the Village. The living room, kitchen, bedroom was good in size, however this unit states it sleeps 4 and I think it would be tight. The bathroom is especially small. The fan in the bathroom was not working. There was no shower liner, but again clean. What I think was the worst part of staying here, which will keep me from staying here again, is no internet connection. That was so frustrating. The worst part however, is how thin the walls are. Returned for another stay because we like this resort but was disappointed with the poor reception at check in. A simple hello or welcome to the hotel would be expected. “I need an ID and credit card” is not a proper greeting for the hospitality industry… We were not offered a map or invited to use the facilities or asked if we were familiar with them. There was no one else waiting to check in, so no excuse. Staff needs training.

I had a great overall experience staying at The Villages at Ocean Edge! The check in process was easy and the staff was able to accommodate my check-in early request. I would book another stay in the future and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This review does not include the housekeeping staff at the villages. The housekeeping staff were amazing - kept our room clean and bright! However, the front desk staff and managers were a complete disappointment. I was getting married off site on the 14th and called to ask if I could have a package delivered to reception. The staff said yes. The package was delivered on September 11. I called no less than 10 times to check about the package and they could not find it. Not only could they not find it, they never called me back. This included the manager, Alex. The reception staff also stated that the person who signed for it no longer worked there so "someone else must have used her name to sign for it." They also stated no manager was on duty multiple times. This was a box for my wedding on the 14th with over 1500 dollars worth of goods in it. They did not find it until one of my guests went to the front desk and insisted on searching the receiving room herself. Again, it is one thing to lose a package and another to never call the person back. I travel for work and have never had an experience like this. They made my wedding experience incredibly stressful. And, still, no call.

Overall a good spot to stay for all the amenities and quiet . The outdoor pools are nice and there is shuttle service throughout the property when you call for one. Customer service was a bit lacking, I would get conflicting information on access to certain amenities and it was a 50/50 chance when you call front desk or any service that they would pick up. The two restaurants on site are good and worth eating at and the staff at the restaurants are great.

There was no notification/information to go to the mansion for check-in. I went to guest registration which looks under construction. Inside I found a sign that said to go to the mansion. This info supplied with reservation confirmation would have been appreciated.

Great amenities really reasonable price for the accommodations. Staff we met all helpful, was sometimes hard to reach the concierge with a question (tried calling a few times one day to check on pool hours ) but in person not an issue at the registration desk. Campus of the villages is pretty spread out (a mile from britterage where we stayed to the arbor pools for example). So just something to keep in mind . They do have a shuttle but since we had a little kid found it easier to drive when needed rather than try to wait. Would be very bikable if the logistics with a little kiddo in tow weren’t complicated like ours !

The property is beautiful. The rooms were clean and spacious and had all the kitchen things we would need to prep our am coffees and breakfast.... and other meals if you chose to bring in groceries. But being across the st at the very end of the Villages area it was not convenient to use the beach, and restaurant on the mansion side. We were not supposed to drive and park over at mansion side, but use the shuttle. They need more frequent shuttles. Not great to have to wait 20 min in humid weather and esp in wet sandy beach attire, or when the rain came on our way to dinner. So,we did park by mansion--- feeling rushed and guilty trying to find a parking space. Ocean terrace did a good job of moving all the uncovered tables under the pavillion when a torrential rain and wind passed by--thank you. I prefer the ocean side beach and not the bay side there where the water/tide goes very far out in low tide- a long walk to get in deep enough to cool off.

Great location to visit Brewster area. Close to beaches, bike trail & dining. We’ve stayed here many times at different units depending on our party size & always love the complex. I know what to expect & just love the area. This time we only stayed one night, one bedroom, queen bed good price.

The villages, depending on where you stay are an 8 min drive away. Even if you stay in closer villages you still have to travel over a main road. There is a shuttle bus but you would not want to rely on that as they don't come that often. We drove everywhere. You don't feel like you're staying in the ocean edge resort, you feel like it's a trek to get there if you want to visit the beach/ mansion house. We didn't use the main facilities other than the beach which was lovely but only has chairs, no sun beds. We wanted to hire a bike to go on the bike trail but the bike huts were always closed so had to rent one from company locally. The room itself was very nice and had kitchen and living area and washing machine and dryer. Nice pool up in the villages which we enjoyed sitting at one day.

Lovely resort. We really enjoyed our stay. Professional staff. Delicious food at the Ocean Terrace restaurant. Condo was very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the private beach. Wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back next year!

The property is very clean and a great value! I just wish I had known that if you stay in a village you do not have access to the private beach. We also ate dinner at the mansion and it was more pretentious than we are accustomed to. The food was mediocre. The parking attendant was very rude. The pool and the Linx were fabulous in the Village. We would stay here again if we ever came back to the Cape.

I've wanted to visit here for quite some time. I love the option of resort activities or a walk on the beach all a few minute walk from our room. Great cocktails at the beach bar and the Cape has many places to dine with many ortions from pub fare to sea food. Highly recommended Oceans Edge Resort

Stayed in the Villages for 2 nights for a weekend wedding. Mansion area has a lot to do and multiple dining options. Ate at the Pub downstairs 1 night, limited food options on the menu and the food was just ok for the money. We had a great time at Ocean Edge staying in the Village condos. The golf course was great and the food at the Linx tavern was phenomenal. Ray was an attentive bartender!
