This property should not be categorized as a "Resort". It is in a great area, being half a block from the beach/ocean and ten minutes drive from the boardwalk. However, the property is really just a motel with a pool. The room was okay. We didn't get an ocean view, but that was not a deal-braker for me. We go a Keurig coffee maker and microwave, but they had to be carried across the room so we could plug them in. There was a rectangular window behind the beds, but with no curtains. A lot of light came in which woke us at 6:30 the first morning. I no the staff, which were very pleasant, would have done something, but we just placed things on the windowsill to block the light.

I initially didn’t want to leave a review out of respect for how hard the staff was working, but I eventually changed my mind because this motel could benefit from improvements—especially for the sake of future guests. The inn looks somewhat refreshed, but only partially. I can’t speak for all the rooms, but ours had several issues. The bathroom had a poorly painted tub with peeling paint, and the ceiling showed visible mold spots that had just been covered with a thin layer of paint. Both the bathroom and bedroom had small, dirty windows with transparent tape around them, which looked unappealing. The sofa bed also needed a thorough vacuuming inside. Another important point: the property was advertised on Hotels.com as having an ocean view. In reality, it does not. A tall condominium directly in front blocks the full ocean and beach view. This is such a well designed room. You enter in the living room, which has a dinette and small kitchenette, with stovetop, microwave and full-sized fridge; leading to a bedroom with a very comfy pillow top bed and the hall ending in a bathroom. This is an older hotel, but the rooms have been updated. The rooms are kept very clean. The pool is a nice size, also kept clean. The beach is a very short walk. The boardwalk is 1&1/2 mile, a nice bike ride (bring your bike!). There is a nice bike pathway that is adjacent to the beach, leading to the boardwalk. The Cape May Wildlife Refuge is 1&1/2 mile, as well. Definitely check out the Wildlife Refuge and the beach and dune hikes that end in views of untouched beach and wetlands for bird viewing.

Room was spacious and spotless!! AC was nice and cool. Beautiful pool area and only a few steps to the beach. Quiet, friendly service. 100% great value. Will stay again and recommend for anyone who wants a little quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk, but still close enough to walk/bike there.

Et fe etres d’origine moisies, sale, bbq et piscine qui tombent en morceaux, draps et édredons de lits sales et taches, serviettes trouees, ventilateur bourré de poussiere. Tarif hors de prix pour la qualite du produit. A eviter.

It was ok for a night, Besides the shower having black mold and the beds having just a sheet and blanket wasn’t expecting to see the bed looking like that as i was trying to pull up the sheet and blanket to go to bed, the pillow cases were dirty to they definitely didnt have room service before our stay or at all if that, but i guess you get what you pay for right? if i would of known that i would of choose something else for sure very unsatisfied stay hope they do better in the future

This was a last min. booking for me and I was pleasantly surprised. I have been coming to this area for the last 35 years. The Saratoga was clean, nice, convenient and priced right. Everything worked in the bathroom and was spotless. The beds were comfortable and clean. I only stayed one night but I may consider staying here on longer trips next time.

There was sand everywhere on floor my daughters feet were black. The room was cute. Sand in the sheets! Thank God they had extra ones because they do not change bedding. There is no housekeeping they really need to invest in vacuums because you can’t just sweep and mop get vacuums !

A great experience. Staff was friendly, the place was clean and as advertised. Loved the location, plenty of reserved parking for guests and so close to the beach. Definitely recommend.

Arrived a little early, however check in was not until 3. Not a problem. Beach was was not more than a block away. When our room was ready, friendly front desk lady gave us a call. The room was spacious and VERY clean. I would come back.

check in was okay and the girls there work very hard and were very courteous to us with when we needed linens . the room was unfinished from being remodeled and the mattress and pillows were not comfortable and the one pillow had blood on it .the mattress hurt my husbands back and I have a bad back so it really was not comfortable to me at all ! also the cafe that was supposed to be there for our coffee and breakfast was not open as promised in the agreement . We had to go elsewhere . The room had no trim and the bottom had gaps and pieces of plaster and there was food on the floors and O even found an old pair of glasses that were very dirty under the bed ! Overall not a good experience for being in Wildwood Crest :(

This place is drastically overpriced. It is a dirty motel with slow & unreliable WiFi (if you can connect to it in the 1st place), a moldy bathroom, a broken bathroom sink, and staff that does not provide sufficient help when there are concerns. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone especially at this price point. The only benefit of staying here is the close proximity of the beach, but I can assure you after a beautiful day at the beach you’ll seriously contemplate sleeping in your car instead of returning to this motel for the night.

This is an older facility. That being said, you can't beat the price considering the location. The room was small but clean. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was small; The tv guide said there were 24 available channels but only half had sound. The staff was very courteous. All in all, if you didn't go to the beach for the room but rather the beach, you got a good buy.

check in was okay and the girls there work very hard and were very courteous to us with when we needed linens . the room was unfinished from being remodeled and the mattress and pillows were not comfortable and the one pillow had blood on it .the mattress hurt my husbands back and I have a bad back so it really was not comfortable to me at all ! also the cafe that was supposed to be there for our coffee and breakfast was not open as promised in the agreement . We had to go elsewhere . The room had no trim and the bottom had gaps and pieces of plaster and there was food on the floors and O even found an old pair of glasses that were very dirty under the bed ! Overall not a good experience for being in Wildwood Crest :(

When I arrived after check in, the room was not going to be available for another 40 minutes so I relaxed on the beach, although not the best weather. The beach is literally a block from Saratoga and it is absolutely beautiful. I was impressed that there was housekeeping every day knocking on the door to clean the room although I did not need it. I had a maintenance issue with the bathtub overflow that fell off and maintenance was at another hotel so another female employee came back in to reattach it. Again, impressed. There is a cute little cafe attached to the hotel if you want to get coffee, smoothies or a sandwich. As my first experience in the crest, I would say I was pleased and would definitely go back.

We had an amazing time! Niru was wonderful and very accommodating! The room was very clean and bigger than I had expected. The hotel is in a perfect location too. There’s only one building between the hotel and the beach and it’s only a short drive to the boardwalk. I highly recommend!

This property should not be categorized as a "Resort". It is in a great area, being half a block from the beach/ocean and ten minutes drive from the boardwalk. However, the property is really just a motel with a pool. The room was okay. We didn't get an ocean view, but that was not a deal-braker for me. We go a Keurig coffee maker and microwave, but they had to be carried across the room so we could plug them in. There was a rectangular window behind the beds, but with no curtains. A lot of light came in which woke us at 6:30 the first morning. I no the staff, which were very pleasant, would have done something, but we just placed things on the windowsill to block the light.

I initially didn’t want to leave a review out of respect for how hard the staff was working, but I eventually changed my mind because this motel could benefit from improvements—especially for the sake of future guests. The inn looks somewhat refreshed, but only partially. I can’t speak for all the rooms, but ours had several issues. The bathroom had a poorly painted tub with peeling paint, and the ceiling showed visible mold spots that had just been covered with a thin layer of paint. Both the bathroom and bedroom had small, dirty windows with transparent tape around them, which looked unappealing. The sofa bed also needed a thorough vacuuming inside. Another important point: the property was advertised on Hotels.com as having an ocean view. In reality, it does not. A tall condominium directly in front blocks the full ocean and beach view. The booking description said this place had direct access to the beach, it does not. The room description said "ocean view", however the desk clerk informed us they don't have ocean view rooms (because there is another hotel between them and the ocean). Got to the room and discovered the bed was only full size, not Queen size as our reservation stated. I then opened the dresser drawer to find 2 pair of thong panties. Gross. The bathroom was nicely updated, however they never removed the sticker from the tub, the sink was not properly cleaned, and the bathroom door had a cut made in it so that it could close without hitting the toilet. Also, the window in the shower has a direct view into the neighboring hotel. very strange. They offer free onsite parking, however the spaces are incredibly small. You can park, but don't expect to open your door. I never review hotels, but I felt it necessary this time in order to let others know they are not getting what is advertised (direct beach access, ocean views, Queen beds). One good thing about the room was the full size fridge and freezer.
