The property was well taken care of. There was a pool (didnt use it , but it looked clean). Staff was friendly. Only inconvenience was we stayed two nights but had to go get a new card the next day because apparently the cards are only good for 1 night. Not a big deal though!

Easy to find and plenty of parking space. I have a 4 star rating overall only because I was expecting a refrigerator and coffee machine in my room but there was none to be found. I had to go to the main lobby but that's okay because I just filled a bucket of ice and put it in my cooler to keep certain foods and drinks cold overnight

The people working there were very nice, however there were lots of guests sitting on their room air conditioners smoking (including one naked man). The hotel is right next to the freeway so there is some traffic noise. The pool is missing several tiles but seemed pretty clean, and pool towels were appreciated.

Easy to get to. Check-in had to show ID for ALL people staying in the room. No shampoo. Nothing but soap. Sleep and leave. Linens not dirty but old. Does have a nice looking pool. Hard time understanding person at desk.

I have stayed at this Motel 6 in Cda, Id a few times. It's always clean and affordable. The pet areas are decent and poo bags provided which I appreciate. The pool area is nestled in the middle of the complex and the water warms up nicely for a pleasant swim. The pool needs some attention and repair to some areas, but doesn't detract from enjoyment. Grassy areas around pool are a nice touch. The location is next to freeway so there is road noise, but not horrible. If you're looking for simple, no frills and clean accommodations that won't break the bank this is a decent stop.

Overall a good stay with comfortable beds. We were able to get our room changed to where we could easily see our car as it was full of stuff due to moving. Very accommodating, nice pool, and attentive staff that walk around and watch the cameras.

The bedding had not been changed; there was hair all over in the sheets. The comforter was full of cigarette burn holes. The bathroom was dirty; there was urine on the toilet and toilet seat. When we went to the desk, they said they would not come clean the room we had to take it as is or they would refund our money, and we could go else wear. We left and went to a different establishment.

The bedspread was dirty, long black hair stuck to the blanket in several places. Booked first four days on line, when I asked for this booking for an additional day, desk person couldn’t help me. I had to go back on line to get a room. Heater made an aweful scraping metal noise when it kicked on. I think cleaning came once in 4 days as we had new towels, garbages not emptied.

The room had a horrid smell, kept the door open to air it out. Urine on the toilet seat. Towels were dingy gray, and had the horrid smell of the room. I think it’s the ac/heater unit producing the smell. It was a mix of cigarette smoke, sweat, and musty odor. I can’t complain too much, you get what you pay for. But pee from the last guest still on the toilet seat - that’s disgusting.

It was very frustrating to be on vacation and have people yelling outside the door each day (workers), as well as beat on the door each morning. If you don’t answer quickly enough then they would try to let themselves in. Not to mention that the room did not feel clean at all. If you happen to stay there, don’t look under the bed. My daughter dropped a toy, and let’s just say, it definitely hadn’t been cleaned in quite awhile. Won’t stay again

Room was clean, bed was harder than I like, pillows were very flat and there were only two of them. Only one hand towel, two washcloths, two bath towels. Biggest problem was we found a bed bug as we were packing up to leave in the morning. Informed the front desk and they said they’d get the room de-bugged, but it’s not a good feeling to think you might have bedbugs in your luggage. This was our first stop on our trip, so I know we didn’t bring them in from anywhere else.

Room was not clean. The sheets had hair all over them. The front desk was not very kind when I asked for new sheets. They accused me of wanting them for a dog, which I have no pets. The new sheets were covered with pet hair. The pillows and bed were so uncomfortable.

The room had a bad odor upon entering. The day after I slept there I broke out with tons of bug bites on my chest, back and arms. I couldn’t figure it out until I looked up bedbug bites and that is what they were.

Upon arriving in our room, we were surprised to find out our suite did not have a fridge. Turns out a fridge only comes with a Premium suite not a standard room. After 2 nights we were able to upgrade to a premium room at an additional cost of $5.00 a night. The only other issue was the shower which was only about 5 feet high.

This was a basic hotel room even though it was called a premium room because it had a fridge and microwave. No fuss. No dining options on site. But all we did was return there to sleep so not really an issue for us.

Was clean staff was fine. They need to update beds was quite hard or low quality mattress. And shower was challenging for anyone tall ish. Shower head came to my chest. I am 6 3 was impossible unless i was on my knees to wash my hair.

Stayed for five days. Room was cleaned daily while i was out doing work errands. Fresh towels daily, front desk was friendly. Floor could use a little extra mopping, can't really complain though for the price.

The room seemed clean, however, there were unidentifiable broken plastic pieces around the room from previous guests, I assume. The WiFi was down. The front desk informed me they had a "full house" so not everyone might be able to access to internet. Motel 6 website clearly states "WiFi Accessability" with no connotation that it depends on the amount of guests. What's next? The lights WON'T be on? The poor woman checking in prior to me had just picked her sister up from the hospital; her sister had been in a coma and was in a wheelchair. This woman had requested a first floor handicap access room to which she was told, "we have a full house and just don't have rooms left on the first floor. You may need to find somewhere else to stay." WOW. Just, wow.

The night man was awful. He doesn’t like the fact that I got a discounted room so he threatened to have me arrested.. he actually rented the room to another couple for more money and they were upset they didn’t get it cause I’m close to the swimming pool not by request. All in all it was horrible. This motel is never clean never get room service. I was walked out of my room and had to go to the office and get a new key. They were really nice and the lady that checked me in said I guess he supposedly doesn’t like people like me that gets discounts but they keep harassing me till 11 o’clock at night is ridiculous. Somebody again went by my room last night and knocked on the door and I just ignored him. I said this is enough enough. I give it a -5. I wouldn’t recommend this motel to the homeless.

Booked non smoking, gave me a smoking room. Smelled of smoke really bad, asked for a change of room, receptionist was not accommodating at all. Said she didn’t have one, she eventually answered the phone to Expedia which I received a full refund. Because it was 9 at night I had to go & find another one.amazingly she offered me another standard room @ 128 dollars. Definitely the worst, avoid like the plague.

Really nice staff, and accommodating. Noise from the highway. Beds are firm, no kingsize available. Our first room had a burnt smell. We changed rooms to one with 2 beds and the room was odourless. Nice pool. Charming property. Comfortable stay, decent rates, good location.

We always stay at Coeur d'Alene Motel 6. It is not the most desirable being right next to I-90 but for the price, it works for us. We love that there is not an additional fee for our dog. Since we are only there to sleep, it fits our needs. The only negative was that our coffee pods were not restocked daily and we had to ask at the front office every night. When you check in, there are only 2 pods in the room, one regular and one decaf. In a room with 2 people there should be 2 of each to give the option of having more than 1 cup. Yes, there is coffee in the lobby but who wants to walk there in your pajamas in the cold??

Conveniently located, just off I90, near a big grocery store (Winco), and beside an Arby’s. It was so refreshing to get into our unit after a long hot drive with the AC already on and the room so nice and cool. We like the hardwood floor because it just makes sense for a pet-friendly motel, especially since we came with our cute little dog. The desk clerk was kind and efficient, and gave us a ground floor unit and convenient parking stall. The beds were comfortable and we all had a good sleep in the quiet surroundings, ready to go for the next leg of our road trip.

Overall it was located in a really nice area, a pretty private parking lot which was nice for us since we were just stopping in for the night. The room was clean, the bed was comfy. Great deal for the price, exactly what we needed for the night.

I reserved in advance so check in was suoer quick. The coffee and cream in the morning was a welcome perk at the lobby. I had interactions with 4 different staffers in the lobby during the stay and all were warm and friendly. I was concerned that the bright security lights would be too bright in the room but the window curtain did a good job. The rooms are a bit tired and one of the comforters had a strong body odor. I paid a few extra bucks for a room with a mini firdge and microwave which was nice. They still have smoking rooms available here. We were in a non smoking room but there was an odor, most likely being that it was a pet friendly room. Overall, 6.5 or 7 stars out of 10. It served the purpose of a good night's sleep, caffeine in the morning, and safe.

As a person who stays in Motel 6 whenever, I can due to their affordability, I have to say that this was one of the better ones. I really like the location. The hotel itself is kind of tucked back behind some businesses, so it feels a little out of the traffic which is nice. Staff was great. The pool, although small, was just right for cooling off and waking up after a long drive. No issues with the room or staff. Our cleaner, Mitchell left us fresh towels and took the trash but left all our things untouched, perfect! Linens were clean! Bathroom was huge! One of the bigger bathroom for a motel 6! Overall it was a great stay. If your on a Budget and need a place in the Coeur d’Alene area it’s a good choice. The area seems safe as well.

The room was clean which is important. But the cleaning lady didn’t do much over the 3 days we stayed. No shampoo refill. No coffee refills. Didn’t make the beds. The bare minimum if we had rented a room with no service at all. However, the ladies at the front desk were excellent. We had to go ask for clean towels and coffee each day we stayed there. Really the only thing done in the room was they emptied the garbage. Nothing else. We had sketchy people around us that made my daughters feel uncomfortable. At one point 3 police showed up and arrested a fellow driving a white van with broken windows by the outdoor pool. Not sure why, but it was a strange experience. Decent food nearby which was a plus. The price was awesome for the rooms, but not sure I’d stay there again.

The man & woman that were cleaning the rooms we're arguing very loudly and using the F word alot, your coffee pods are no good, it was like drinking hot water with a splash of coffee. Other than that it was ok.

This was a basic hotel room even though it was called a premium room because it had a fridge and microwave. No fuss. No dining options on site. But all we did was return there to sleep so not really an issue for us.

The only issue I had was the internet was down during my entire stay. If the internet had been up I would have given a stellar review. I know it was a weekend but the manager should have been able to call a technician.

The room was okay. The shower was very small not much room to move around in at all. The towels were thin and small couldn’t even get it to wrap around your body. The bed was hard and the pillows super thin. You can hear the freeway noise as well.

The property was clean and maintained. But I would never stay again. Tiny rooms, tiny and terrible beds. 8 creepy, half dressed men standing by the pool staring at all times out of several different rooms. I wouldn't let my daughters go swimming because of the fear of the men. It is right against the freeway and the walls let every single cars noise flow thru the walls. I didn't sleep a single second out of concern for those men and the noise from the road. We found a different hotel for the next nights stay.
