Schoenbrunn Inn

The Inn was clean but older. Bed was comfortable. Bathtub/shower drain needed cleaned out. During shower water came up to my ankles. Pub was nice but no food. It met my needs for the price.

The staff was very welcoming upon my arrival and the room was spacious and very clean. The Pub, the bar located on sight was a fun place to spend an evening. The local regulars, made me feel very welcome. Overall it was a great experience and I would stay here again.

Our room had an electrical issue, so we had to be moved but they adjusted our payment for the first night. Pool and laundry was unavailable. Breakfast isn't as described.

Fantastic hotel and 5 star staff. I had 3 rooms here for my sons wedding over the weekend and all of 7 of us (5 adults and 2 kids) were extremely happy with everything. The rooms were spotless. The hotel staff were always cleaning all hours of the day & night. Wheather it was their entry way, the floors or the leaves outside. The swimming pool was big, and the pool area even had A/C so it was not hot and stuffy in there. The breakfast was perfect, with lots of choices, even the bar tender was amazing and kept our night going. Freah coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24/7. We didnt want to leave.

It was a nice place. We picked it because it had a pool and hot tub. We were never told that it was out of order at the time we Booked it or when we called a few days ahead of time to confirm things.

The staff was very pleasant & friendly. They greeted us each time they saw us. There are a few rooms that face back of the building where A/C units are located. The other side has no other windows so our view was completely private from that perspective, so I’m not mad about having no view as most of the time I close the drapes anyhow. On this trip, we were able keep them open to let the natural light into room. The hotel and rooms were clean and appeared to have been updated with paint and soft goods. The pool, hot tub and sauna were highlight of our stay. After a day of hiking and visit to The Wilds, the hot tub was a treat for the adults and pool was loved by the kids! The free breakfast is continental breakfast, but the staff keeps the area clean and well stocked. My kids loved the hot waffles. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised (and grateful) for the good tasting coffee too. The hotel is easy to access from the highway. Its proximity to so many restaurants makes this hotel a good choice after a long day on the ohio by-ways and highways.

Brenda at the front desk is wonderful! We had to check in early due to a wedding moving up their ceremony time. There were no issues to get into our room 3 hours early. Clean, fresh linens, bed was super comfortable. The pool and hot tub being open so late was very nice. The dressers in the rooms could use an update but other than that it was a great stay! Property needs updating!

The breakfast var wasn’t too good. They didn’t have anything warm except waffles and the waffle maker was extremely slow. We were on our way to the Alive Music Festival and needed a good breakfast. We were disappointed. The tub had some hair left in it.

The facility was clean. The staff was cleaning constantly. We enjoyed our stay. They were all wonderful.

The hotel has a great potential, but someone needs to invest some time into repairing the issues. The vents in the restroom are disgusting. The counter behind the toilet prevents you from lifting the lid completely and the shower curtain rod needs to be repaired. Blood stain in the sheet.. The hotel could Be a gem. But it isn’t.

The room floor was dirty and sticky and the bathroom had mold and rust on the walls, ceiling, and fixtures. The room smelled old and musty. The window faced a brick wall 3 feet away with trashcans. A/C unit was old and loud. Bedding was extremely rough as well. If you aren't out of bed early in the morning when they try to clean your room, it doesn't get cleaned that day at all. Poor maintenance and not a comfortable stay.

Very clean and friendly staff, they even went out of their way and made sure I had a recliner in our room because I just had Shoulder Rotor cuff surgery and I couldn’t sleep laying down. They was always checking on us making sure we was ok and if we needed anything.. we will definitely stay there again next time we are in that area

We were promised a no smoking facility. People in the room next door were smoking marijuana and making a lot of noise for 1/2 an hour at 11:30 pm. I don't care for the illegal drugs but don't care that it's what they were smoking. Smoking is smoking and shouldn't have been allowed. That is the point of NO SMOKING. They should have taken it outside. Also, we were promised a pet free facility. Two different dogs were in the hall not on a leash with their owners talking to the front desk staff. My husband is allergic. It's why we chose the hotel. Front desk staff was ambivalent when we complained. By all rights, we didn't get what we paid for [bargained for consideration] and should receive a refund for at least one of the 2 nights.

The staff was so sweet. When I arrived I asked about a place that I could work with my staff and they were so kind. They extended my checkout and checkout on us during the day. Would recommend staying there!!!!

We had a funeral to attend and they kindly let us extend our check out and that was greatly appreciated

What made my stay so amazing was not the room, or the amenities, but the afternoon/evening front desk staff. She was so sweet yet professional and welcoming. I only wish I would have caught her name. She made the stay well worth it.

Our house was flooded and we had needed to stay somewhere local for the night. My daughter and I booked this hotel room on Expedia. I always thought this hotel was a nicer place but quickly found that it was more of a death trap… In general it was clean and the workers were very nice and polite. Unfortunately it was so noisy all night with people and noises from the showers that I could barely get any sleep. The breakfast was about as generic as it comes. If you like cereal or Jimmy Dean sausages that Dan don't warm up well in the microwave and this place is for you… My biggest complaint was how cheap and unsafe the room was. There was a wall mounted between the two beds that was made out of base board. I got up in the morning and put my right hand on it to guide myself to get up and it collapsed. It hit my arm Twisting it and nearly breaking it. It landed on my foot injuring my foot. I was astonished to see that this 30 pound desk structure was held up by two screws and glue. If it was a woman that has happened to it could've broke her foot or leg. I was appalled that they did this so cheaply putting peoples health in danger. I filled out an accident report and the front desk lady was very nice but of course there was no manager on duty. When I got back to my office I called Expedia, they called the manager and she refused to give me any kind of discount. Thankfully Expedia backed up they promised to protect me as their customer and gave me a full refund for the hotel.
