Bayeux is a beautiful little town and the perfect location for visiting the Normandy Beaches. The B&B hosts were very helpful pointing out special sites and good restaurants. The house is almost suburban with a lawn and nice garden just outside of the old town. It is fairly close to the town, but it is easier to drive, find a parking spot and then wander. That may be harder to do in the high season. The upstairs room was more than adequate with a comfortable bed and television. We had a private shower room and a shared toilet just down the hall. The continental breakfast was very nice and almost too plentiful! Very enjoyable stay.

It was lovely, beautiful, friendly, quiet, and comfortable here. Guests are in rooms upstairs in a couple's new home. The house is part of a new development with large back yards. There is even a rooster next door. The couple presents a very nice continental breakfast of fresh, delicious breads and crescents, home made jam and hot tea or coffee or chocolate. The couple is very warm and welcoming. We couldn't have had a better time. Oh, they gave us a booklet of local sites and restaurants with their favorites pointed out, pointed out to us how the parking in town works, and gave us ideas of other sites to see nearby. We had a very nice time here!
