The Bastion was a fantastic hotel. It has lots of free parking, a small gym and a fridge in the room. It is a huge hotel room with a great shower, the biggest we have ever seen in Europe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay there again when we go to Graspop Metal Meeting next year;)

The first problem is the very large, very slow Prison Gate to get in. It is, in a word, disturbing. Second, my room door rattled the entire time. It seemed, if anything happened in the hallway, the door would rattle like someone was trying to get in. Like an air pressure problem coupled with a poorly made door. And this went on all night. Kept me up. Then, I never got a receipt. I get not printing to save paper, but it wasn't even emailed. Nothing.

Hoewel er wel 24 * 7 receptie was, en inchecken na 00:00 zonder problemen is verlopen, was de kennis van de medewerker beperkt. Zo gaf hij aan dat er geen laadpalen waren (acher af waren er wel twee op het terein aanwezig). En ook koste het behoorlijk wat tijd voordat de poort open ging om toegang te krijgen met de auto (stond al iemand te wachten een tijdje)

Very nice hotel conveniently located near Eindhoven. Room was clean. spacious, with amenities, nice seating and comfortable bed. Work space was limited due to curved cut making it transition from adequate to very narrow. Lots of security. Have to use key card to operate the elevator, to open the hallway door as well as your room door. The place is like a fortress with a fence surrounding the property. You cannot walk onto the lot as the walkway gate is locked. The gate to the parking lot is a challenge. The stanchion with the button is not reachable from your car meaning you have to get out and walk to press the button. The gate is closed at night and you must wait for the staff to release the gate. Overall a nice stay and I recommended this hotel.

It's very difficult and inconvenient to figure out how to get into the hotel. You need to hit a button in the center of the car gate, your card will not open the gate door. It's a hotel not a fortress, this was needlessly complex and made an otherwise pleasant stay a little bit frustrating. You shouldn't have to interact with a human being just to get close to the hotel. The beds were soft and comfortable, but wobbly in a way that you can easily fall off when you're sitting on them. They could have bought a better bed frame.

Vi fik første værelse og det var fyldt med skægkræ (dyr på væg, gulv og loft). Så fik et andet værelse, og det stank af cigaretrøg. Så fik vi et tredje værelse og vi havde egentlig ikke lyst til at sove der pga. værelset generelt ikke var rent. Beskidt og under lagen var der en del hår osv. vi kommer ALDRIG igen! Receptionisten udviste et mindre brøl, da vi kom igen, da det virkede uoverskueligt for hende. Alt i alt en virkelig dårlig oplevelse! Og stjerne i har givet herinde stemmer overhovedet ikke overens! Vi er mildest talt i chok over denne oplevelse!

Bij aankomst was het om het hotel vies, glas en sigarettenpeuken overal. De lift en gang waren vies. Er was veel stof op de kamer. Vieze handdoeken met vlekken en plukken haar erin, en vies beddengoed. Met de maaltijd waren er meerdere dingen op de menukaart die we niet konden krijgen, en er was al weinig keuze. Wat we ook hebben geprobeerd, van beide kamers kregen we de airco niet aan de gang. 'smorgens bij het ontbijt stonden de drankglazen en volle asbakken nog buiten op tafel. Bij uitchecken bleek dat er ook nog iets op rekening van onze kamer was besteld, dit hebben we niet hoeven betalen nadat we konden aantonen dat we al betaald hadden voor de maaltijd.

De kamer zag er heel mooi uit, maar het douche putje was bij aankomst drastisch verstopt. Haalde er een enorme klont haren uit. Ook zat er schimmel bij de kitrand van het putje. De bedden lagen lekker, maar de airco kon niet uit waardoor ik erg veel last had van mijn keel. Verder was de luchtinstallatie erg gehorig. Alsof er een droger aanstond in de kamer naast je.

Das Zimmer war leider sehr schmutzig, klebrige Flecken auf dem Boden und auf Abstellflächen, Reste von Chips oder ähnlichem neben dem Bett und am Fenster und Haare und kleinere Verunreinigungen im Bad. Das Frühstück war allerdings ziemlich gut und bot eine relativ große Auswahl, z.B. Räucherlachs und Mett, was ich in dem Hotel nicht erwartet hätte. Es liegt etwas abgelegen, allerdings gibt es einen großen eingezäunten Parkplatz und ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß ein sehr gutes Restaurant mit angemessenen Preisen.

If you have work on outskirts of eindhoven. This is right on the highway. Good alternative to van der walk which is right across the road but 30% costlier Bastion has big comfortable rooms and spacious bathrooms. Food was good at the restaurant. Speed of service could have been better Warm staff !

Rodet reception, uopmærksom personale som snakkede internt istedet for at få gæsterne tjekket ind. Morgenmad lukker kl 9:00 men allerede 8:30 manglede der flere til - i en i forvejen ret spinkel buffet. Samme sløje oplevelse ved udtjekning. Ved hoveddøren stod der gamle pizza og burger bakker, og service med rester af gammelt mad.

Requested late checkout on the phone before staying, was accepted and told 2PM was perfect. I was woken at 8am by the TV making noise and then showing a bright-white logo, turned it off and it switched back on, i had to wait 5 mins before the TV would allow me to turn it off, meaning I was now fully awake. When I finally managed to go to sleep again, I was then awoken by a staff member banging FURIOUSLY hard on the door. It turns out the night staff had failed to informed the day-staff of my late checkout. This is an inappropriate way to wake someone compared to calling the hotel phone, and inappropriate due to the lack of handover. I have slept incredibly poorly and am frustrated I have paid full-cost for the room. I am now travelling home on little sleep, truly a trip-ruining event.

Vriendelijk personeel. Kamer is prima en ondanks dat het aan de snelweg ligt hoor je het geluid niet in de kamer. Bij het verschuiven van de bedden kwam er een hoop stof en nog een sok tevoorschijn dit hebben we ook gemeld bij de receptie. Voor 1 nacht is het een prima hotel.

Vriendelijk personeel. Kamer is prima en ondanks dat het aan de snelweg ligt hoor je het geluid niet in de kamer. Bij het verschuiven van de bedden kwam er een hoop stof en nog een sok tevoorschijn dit hebben we ook gemeld bij de receptie. Voor 1 nacht is het een prima hotel.

- Etwas fest von Eindhoven abgelegen, jedoch mit Bus erreichbar. Mit Taxi fallen aus dem Centrum 35 Eur an. - Gutes Frühstück - Zertrümerter Glaseingang kümmert 4Tage niemand, während am 4. Tag Fensterreiniger erscheinen. - Hotelumfeld eher so ein CDU Umfeld, also alte Leute die viele nicht um sich haben wollen.

If you have work on outskirts of eindhoven. This is right on the highway. Good alternative to van der walk which is right across the road but 30% costlier Bastion has big comfortable rooms and spacious bathrooms. Food was good at the restaurant. Speed of service could have been better Warm staff !

The room was dusty and didn't seem properly cleaned before my arrival. To make matters worse, no housekeeping or towel refills were provided after the first night.
