Good place to stay......Convenient parking .....Good breakfast

2 yr old property, friendly staff, 4 blocks from main tourist area. Breakfast only average.

The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The lobby was not as nice and was loud.

My room was right next to the elevator. It was way too noisy. That’s a lot of money to spend for that kind of a room.

I was at first surprised by the gravel parking lot. However when entered was greeted by friendly staff. The room and accommodations were far better than expected. Never judge a hotel by its cover. Sometimes you will be pleasantly surprised.

The staff at this hotel had to be the most pleasant, friendly and polite I have ever experienced. The facility does not have much for amenities but the location was very convenient and very quiet surroundings. I would gladly stay at the Wagon Wheel any time I am in the area.

Nice rooms but very noisy - mostly elevator & ice machine. Our room had a TV, but it was not connected to Direct TV like most all other rooms. "Discounts" for the inconvenience were mentioned by evening staff, but day manager said "we don't give discounts."

Overpriced, Can't believe I paid $280 to stay at this dump self service breakfast was bread, bagels, generic cornflakes and cheerios, with no milk, no one working the front desk, twice had to call a phone number and wait for someone to arrive at the property to help. One ice machine for entire hotel which was always empty

Cabins were bit dirty. It smelled some bug-spray.

Excellent location to Yellowstone. Clean and great breakfast - way more than just a continental. Walkable to restaurants and shops.

Pros: Towels were nice with fresh ones given each day. Roomy cabin, 2 separate bedrooms. 1 of the 2 bathrooms had a shower AND a bathtub Full kitchen with oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave Nice washer/dryer Nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash Cons Carpenter ants infestation in the bathroom and kitchen Several outlets didn't work, including the only outlet in the half bathroom. Several lights were burned out, and all smoke detectors missing. Thin sofa bed mattress, bars dig into your back, and frame needs repair. One of the countertops in the kitchen comes off Several lamps either don’t work or shades are broken Only 1 bathroom has a working fan Only 1 tiny bathroom window has a screen so that you can open the window for a breeze at night. Dirt, crumbs, and cobwebs in almost every corner of every room and on most surfaces + several used towels found - yuck! Huge armoire that supposedly had extra bedding but it was locked and was never unlocked, even though we asked Only 1 small window air conditioner that struggled to keep up with entire cabin. Everything in the living room is rigged up to extension cords, splitters, and power strips Odd (mold?) smell No door stoppers Despite what Expedia says, there is NOT a free breakfast The Internet went down the last two days we were there

Staff were very friendly, room was clean and well maintained. Towels were very plush. Breakfast was ok. Access to Yellowstone west was close by.

Maz was so friendly and courteous. He took his time checking us in and explained everything to us. He even walked us to our room to make sure everything was in tiptop condition. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. It was so quiet and we got an amazing night’s sleep. It was so nice to be able to sleep with the window open. We really enjoyed our stay. 10/10

The hallway was dark and well worn. Breakfast limited as the hotel was full. The room was a nice size but dingy.

The employee (Jason) who checked us in was fantastic! He even came out to the parking to help us with our bags. The room looked, smelled and felt clean! Jason made wonderful recommendations as to where to eat.

The floor was filthy and the staff had only one person that spoke english.

The general overall condition of the hotel was it is tired and a bit run down. The breakfast was pretty meager. The price was high, but all of West Yellowstone is high. The room and bed were comfortable. The room was large. Bathroom was adequate. Location is convenient to Yellowstone Park. It was an adequate one night stay on our way through but we will avoid West Yellowstone in June and summer in the future. High prices and crowds.

The room was specious and fairly clean. The bed was comfortable but too high for average people. Could be hazardous if you wake up in the middle of night and almost fell off when I try to step down to the floor. Internet was OK and little slow. The breakfast was mediocre and very bland. Not great quality. There were no fruits like bananas or apples. Staffs were OK and need to be more professional to customer's needs.

This property appears to be an older hotel that has been renovated. The room has also probably been recently remodeled with the bathroom being the nicest part of the room. The walls are very thin so I could hear the people walking down the hallway and the elevator being used. The smell of cleaning supplies in the room was a bit overwhelming. Overall this is a clean, simple, updated room.

The room was tiny. Air conditioner wouldn’t stay on, no outlets to plug things in, horrible beds, so uncomfortable. We trusted that Expedia would take care of us, but they didn’t. It cost us a lot of money to move to a different hotel.

Rooms were ok. Beds are very high off the floor, hard to get in or out. Breakfast was weird assortment, so we didn't eat.

Our room was great! We had a big king room, lots of space, great furniture, roomy bathroom.

Close to park entrance and close to dining options. Free breakfast is great prior to a day of exploration in the park. Lobby is nicely updated as was our bathroom. The rest of the room/decor is a little dated, but the beds were extremely comfortable. Area is very quiet as well. Staff is super friendly, always greeting us with a smile!

We really enjoyed the ease of check-in, the room amenities, and the friendly staff. Jay definitely was a staff stand out. Extremely friendly and helpful! Impressed by the included breakfast. Some of these at hotels are hit or miss. This was definitely a hit. Mix of cold and hot, just not overly elaborate. But, just right for what we needed ahead of our days in Yellowstone. So happy we booked a hotel with breakfast as there didn't seem to be any fast service breakfast places in West Yellowstone, like a Dunkin's or a Starbucks.

Not a great 4 day stay. Check in was confrontational by owner wanting to charge a 200 damage fee. Room was okay sheets were not ironed and the two pieces of bar soap provide was enough for two of us to lather our faces, it was that small. Although the day time attendant was very nice and helpful the breakfast was woefully underwhelming. I think ownership provides a flop house for foreign Chinese tour groups. Overall not a good hotel for independent travelers.

Wagon Wheel is a great option in West Yellowstone. Jay greeted us by name each day of our stay. Breakfast options have good variety, everything is clean, you can walk into the downtown area for shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend Wagon Wheel as a base for exploring Yellowstone!

Wifi isn't working, landline isn't working, no staff at night to lookafter the problems, but it is very expensive though

Such a sweet little spot! The staff is wonderful and everything is clean and orderly. It's a no fluff place, but had everything we needed! Thanks Jay for being so personable and welcoming. We'd definitely stay again!

I like the proximity to Yellowstone national park entrance. 5 minutes away from the entrance.

Clean, comfy bed, excellent Wi-Fi speed. Uninviting residential area. Safe lose in room but unusable as is not plugged in. Poor breakfast.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location in town. Breakfast options are somewhat limited, but still decent compared to other hotels in the same class.

Their shower heads are not great. They have no place to hang clothes in bathroom. The place of breakfast can get crowded between 7-7:30am, food choice us also very basic.
