We really enjoyed our stay at Jesse’s place. Jesse was really welcoming and the place was perfect and very well conceived, with all conveniences needed, including a washer and dryer! Highly recommend!

Very nice cottage about 10 min out of Santa Rosa. Quite fenced property with private gate. Cottage is small but nicly laid out for two people never felt cramped. There is another larger home on the property for a bigger family. Another couple was staying in the other home but we never felt infrindged upon. Fresh eggs in the fridge as a welcome surprise. Cottage has a full size stove. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small but still had a good size shower. Best thing heated toilet seat with bidet want to get one at home now. Host kindly sent my Apple charging cord that I left back to us very timley. Would stay here again.

Lovely stay on a beautiful and peaceful property; the house was clean, beds comfortable, and kitchen well stocked for doing a little cooking instead of eating every meal out!We enjoyed the outdoor area with Adirondack chairs, birds chirping and the cool breeze blowing.Jesse and Lisa were excellent hosts, answering questions about local restaurant options and kindly offering any assistance we might need!

Accommodations were simple, peaceful, clean and beautiful – just as depicted and tucked privately away with amazing hillside and garden views within wonderful scenic drives of everything we wanted to see. Hosts were kind and have done everything right to make this property feel like a sanctuary. We felt we had hit the jackpot for our short stay.

We stayed two nights and it was fabulous. Everything was clean, neat, and orderly. They even left us eggs and bottled water in the . The property is on 2.75 acres and yet you’re five minutes from town, perfect location. We saw a deer, wild, turkeys, and owls throughout each day we were there. We met the owners, Jesse and Lisa, and they could not have been nicer people. They went out of their way to accommodate any of our needs. We will stay here again without question.

The property is on 2.75 acres and yet you’re five minutes from town, perfect location. We saw a deer, wild, turkeys, and owls throughout each day we were there. In addition to being spotless, comfy, and situated in a peaceful, beautifully landscaped setting, this cottage had everything we needed. Our hostess was so friendly and even left us fresh eggs. We were close to parks, restaurants, and wineries, too. Five star!

Now I know why this home gets such good reviews. Stayed here on a quick business trip to Santa Rosa. It's a small place--everything except the bathroom is in one room--but very clean, new, and well-appointed. I especially appreciated the fancy Japanese toilet with the heated seat. :-) Fresh eggs from the on-site chickens was a nice touch, and home had everything I needed. Jesse was very helpful and communicative. Area is lovely and quiet. Note that there is nothing within walking distance, so a car or uber is a must. Would stay again!

This was the cutest little studio in a wonderful location. On the outskirts of Santa Rosa so you are close to everything in Sonoma County, but on a gated property outside of town with woods on one side of you and a small open area on the other. Beautifully landscaped, too. Even though the owners live next door, there is a profound feeling of solitude and peace. I listened to the birds for hours. If you don't get up early and light bothers you, bring a good sleep mask. I highly recommend this sweet, peaceful property!

We loved our stay at this cottage. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, easily accessible and made sure we were all set. The cottage itself is a large studio with attached bath, perfect for 2. It was very clean, bright and inviting. Would stay here again in a minute.

The cottage is compact and well equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. The highlight for us was the garden with its variety of plants and birds - very relaxing. The local wild turkeys added their own special soundtrack to our visit. Jesse and Lisa are excellent hosts who responded to our questions quickly. Not so keen on Santa Rosa itself - hard to navigate through and the nearby wine tasting is greatly overpriced. Fortunately the cottage is well outside town, and there is good hiking only a short drive away. We recommend it highly. Chris & Becky

Super clean, gorgeous property - easily within drivng distance of all the top wineries. Only hiccup was not receiving the gate code, but Jesse was there & let us in. Fresh eggs provided was a nice touch. Turkeys on the property were a treat. We'll absolutely stay here next time we're nearby.

Perfect place for a quiet escape. This cottage had everything we needed in the kitchen/bathroom. Everything was clean. The host Jesse was very responsive and always made sure we had a good experience at their cottage. We recommend for anyone looking for a calm and restful place around Sonoma.

This is a great little cottage which has everything you need. The full kitchen was great, and the grill was great too. We cooked many meals here to save money on restaurants. The location was perfect to go to Napa, Sonoma and Santa Rosa wineries. Also, still close enough to go to San Francisco for a day trip. Lisa and Jeese were very good hosts, and the place was a great little retreat.

AMITABHA is a beautiful, peaceful cottage, easily accessible, not far from a whole host of activities. Jesse is a great host. He greeted us and made sure everything was to our liking. Thank you Jesse! We hope to return one day.

The location just outside of Santa Rosa is perfect for exploring the area. The property is large, safe and we'll kept. A wild kitty cat would always be around to welcome us home or see us off!

My wife and I reserved this quaint little hideaway cottage for a few nights to use as our base camp for several days of touring Sonoma, Napa, and the coastal region and towns. It was conveniently located near everything we wanted to experience. The house itself is not large but it is very well laid out making it both comfortable and efficient. I can still smell the subtle scent of eucalyptus in the air early in the morning. The hosts were wonderful and always were willing to offer recommendations when asked. They respected our privacy but were there if needed. This was a wonderful property to experience a slower and simpler way of life with all the creature comforts. I would highly recommend this place for older more mature couples.

Now I know why this home gets such good reviews. Stayed here on a quick business trip to Santa Rosa. It's a small place--everything except the bathroom is in one room--but very clean, new, and well-appointed. I especially appreciated the fancy Japanese toilet with the heated seat. :-) Fresh eggs from the on-site chickens was a nice touch, and home had everything I needed. The space was super cute and cozy. After 9 days of camping in a row, this was a really nice break for a couple of days before heading back into the woods for more camping. We are not city people, though visiting the city is fun for short time, we loved the location of this property. Quiet, safe, tranquil and somewhat secluded. The host was friendly and the checking in and out experience was very simple. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed two nights and it was fabulous. Everything was clean, neat, and orderly. They even left us eggs and bottled water in the . The property is on 2.75 acres and yet you’re five minutes from town, perfect location. We saw a deer, wild, turkeys, and owls throughout each day we were there. We met the owners, Jesse and Lisa, and they could not have been nicer people. They went out of their way to accommodate any of our needs. We will stay here again without question.

In addition to being spotless, comfy, and situated in a peaceful, beautifully landscaped setting, this cottage had everything we needed. Our hostess was so friendly and even left us fresh eggs. We were close to parks, restaurants, and wineries, too. Five star!

Super clean, gorgeous property - easily within drivng distance of all the top wineries. Only hiccup was not receiving the gate code, but Jesse was there & let us in. Fresh eggs provided was a nice touch. Turkeys on the property were a treat. We'll absolutely stay here next time we're nearby.

Very nice cottage about 10 min out of Santa Rosa. Quite fenced property with private gate. Cottage is small but nicly laid out for two people never felt cramped. There is another larger home on the property for a bigger family. Another couple was staying in the other home but we never felt infrindged upon. Fresh eggs in the fridge as a welcome surprise. Cottage has a full size stove. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small but still had a good size shower. Best thing heated toilet seat with bidet want to get one at home now. Host kindly sent my Apple charging cord that I left back to us very timley. Would stay here again.

We loved the guest cottage, exactly as pictured. Extremely clean and some many nice touches. Fresh eggs every morning, turkeys, hummingbirds and beautiful flowers. The host couldn’t have been nicer. We visited two wineries, drove to Bodega Head, strolled in Armstrong Forest, swam in the Russian River and had a blast. Visit Truett-Hurst winery and enjoy their lovely grounds and farm animals . Hope to be back in the near future 🌸

We absolutely loved our stay at Amitabha Cottage! We were in town for our daughter's graduation from Sonoma State University, and the location couldn't have been more convenient—just a five-minute drive from campus.The cottage was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for prepping some food for the barbecue at my daughter's house. One of our favorite touches was enjoying fresh eggs from the chicken coop each morning.The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by nature, majestic oak trees, and picturesque rolling hills. The grounds are impeccably maintained, with lovely fruit trees, fragrant lavender, and peaceful outdoor spaces that made our stay especially relaxing.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
