Affordable Luxury Town Home in Federal Hill Baltimore.

Home was in a great location convenient to many restaurants and bars. Listing stated they had a grill but unfortunately did not. There was a fire pit in the back yard but no propane tank so we couldn’t use it. Parking was a challenge every night we came back from the family we were there visiting. House is decorated nicely but living room furniture was super uncomfortable but beds were very comfortable.

An excellent property that delivers all that is listed online. My wife and I (along with our small dog) stayed here for a couple of days and we absolutely loved the home. Our biggest concern was related to parking and safety - neither of which was an issue. The neighborhood was very quiet (even at night) and by arriving right at the check in time, there was ample street parking right in front of the property. As others have noted, later in the evening parking becomes much more difficult so we decided to use Uber/Lyft in those instances. We were able to walk to Camden Yards and back without issue, though it is a bit of a long walk (about 15-20 min). The home itself has all that you should need while on vacation. We didn't cook but there seemed to be enough essentials that you could make it work if need be. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was very clean, and the outdoor space was nice to enjoy in the evenings. Overall, this is a a great place to stay and would highly recommend! Oh and also, Riverbend Park is only a block and a half away - another great perk if you wanted to exercise or walk your pet in the morning or late afternoon (a quick 5 minute walk from the property).

We have stayed in a couple different Baltimore rental properties over the years but this has been our favorite. It was a great neighborhood location and street parking was easy. Would definitely go back! Thanks Carl!

This home is perfect for those looking to visit the Baltimore and DC area. My best friend and I used it as a launch pad and traveled all around Maryland. It’s about a mile walk to the aquarium, science center, and inner harbor (though that’s not what it used to be 🥺). It’s a 30 min drive to the Greenbelt station which takes you right into DC for all the site seeing you can handle, at a park and ride price. There are great restaurants around, and I highly recommend the Hawaiian shaved ice place down the street. It is street parking so brush up on your parallel parking and get ready to play parking bingo, but it’s free, and that’s better than anywhere else in the area. Oh and the outdoor area is lovely, it is a bit noisy at night, but that’s also living in the city. Just be aware when traveling with small children. 3AM laughter is just a part of city life 😂😂 the kitchen was well stocked and I am always appreciative of the host who thinks to fill the ice cube tray before I get there. ♥️♥️

Our 4th time at this property. Manager is responsive and accommodating. The home is comfortable, clean and well appointed. Excellent location in safe, walkable neighborhood. Free street parking. Highly recommend.

Comfortable place with lots of places to eat within walking distance. Quick drive to Fells Point. Only downside is sometimes street parking could be tough. Only one night out of 3 did we have to park a few blocks away. The windows are not soundproof so if alight sleeper can hear people walking by talking. But neither are controlled by the owners. Would stay again.

Great location in Federal Hill. Lots of great places to eat close by. Property was very clean and as described. Only downside of our trip was no reflection of the property itself but Federal Hill as a whole....parking stinks.

Very conveniently located property with bars/restaurants/grocery and anything you would need within walking distance. Property is clean and well appointed, exactly as described. Nice outdoor space both off the kitchen (patio) and upper level deck off the second bedroom. Beds are comfortable and bathroom and kitchen updated and clean. We have stayed twice and have three more stays booked. Definitely recommend.

We were disappointed in our stay. Despite the listing title - It was NOT a luxury townhome. This property has a lot of potential as it is in a great neighborhood and a simple house, but it’s clear there is not much care given to guests. Most hosts take pride in their home, providing a few (at least) nice things in the home to make the stay comfortable. This home didn’t even have some of the basics… We stayed here with 4 adults and there were 3 towels plus one bath mat that I guess they expected us to use as a towel. It had no hand towels for bathrooms or kitchen, only wash cloths. One of the towels had hair from a previous guest in it. I messaged the host to ask where the towels were and the host only said the cleaners should’ve left them. Well they didn’t? This house had no toiletries, no pint glasses, literally bare bare bones. The fitted sheets didn’t fit the bed and the overhead lights didn’t work in the master bedroom. I am not sure why it was so stingy. This really is not what VRBO is all about and was not a good reflection of how most Baltimore home owners treat their guests. I’d suggest new sheets, new and MORE towels, CUPS (!?), maybe some K cups for coffee, and some toiletries in the shower. Really cheap additions that make a big difference. We were appreciative the host was responsive and allowed us to check in a little early. Overall, I think a few investments in the home and this could be a great rental but as is, this was disappointing.

My wife and I was very pleased with everything about this place. Location was awesome. Very nice neighborhood. Close to everything and inner harbor. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend!!!

A few issues we had that took just a point away for us because they were not so major we quickly adjusted and carried on1. Rocks all over backyard. It was so steamy hot we opted not to sit outside.2. Dishwasher wasn’t ran, before we could eat our take out we had to run it. Opted to eat out containers until dishes were done. The dishware were super cute and worth the wait.3. Once we found where the extra towels were they were some that had holes in them and make up stained. We didn’t use those.Everything else was stellar. We felt at home and cozy. Relaxation station. Location perfect for the activities we had and very good food and shopping in walking distance we loved that party. Thank you for a great vacation we appreciate the access.

The townhouse was clean and comfortable in a nice, walkable neighborhood. YMMV from other reviews concerning on street parking, as we had to park a few blocks away. And be aware that old townhouses tend to have smaller and/or steeper stairs. Will definitely consider staying there again when available.

I would absolutely stay at this location again. My number one priority was safety especially in Baltimore Not once did I feel unsafe. People at all times of day were out exercising walking with their friends pushing strollers. Even when I had to run to my car at night people were out walking their dogs. Very residential, but also very close to coffee shops a bunch of restaurants and walking distance to the grocery store. Should be noted it was street parking and if you don’t know how to parallel park you will by the end of the trip. I did not have any issues finding parking with in a few blocks each night though. Inside the home was clean, definitely some things that could be kept up better, but nothing that affected our stay. The beds were comfortable, and it was very nicely decorated.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Place was as noted on VRBO site. It was clean and we slept well in the king bed. Just a suggestion to note on this property that the parking is street parking on your own. Also, not sure VRBO has this as a selection but to note if a place is ADA. The stairs in this place were a bit challenging for us. Others may not be so lucky. We managed but next time I will ask about this before booking.

Really lucked out with this rental. The location lent itself to walking everywhere - Camden Yards, Federal Hill, Babe Ruth’s Birthplace Museum, inner Harbor, Ft McHenry etc. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area with plenty of street parking available. Streets are well lit at night and give the feeling of being safe. The house itself was very comfortable for 2 people. We were presented with a bright very clean home with plenty of natural light throughout the day. The bedrooms are small, as to be expected in this style home, but free of clutter or excess furniture which we appreciated. The first floor has an open concept design including the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Kitchen appliances all worked. I appreciated the gas stove. Be advised that it is a 2 story home and the steps are narrow. My favorite spot was in the back yard. Direct Sun from about 11:30-2:30, which I loved. It was a nice spot to chill, meditate, and/or read throughout the day. There is also a small balcony off the back bedroom which was cool. We really enjoyed having this home as our base throughout our stay in Baltimore for a week. We would highly recommend and would gladly stay here again. Carl communicated his expectations clearly and responded to my inquiries quickly. He was very helpful. Cons but not deal breakers; - baking dishes/pans for those of us who like to cook - smoke detector is a bit sensitive. It went off while toasting bread. There wasn’t any visible smoke.

This property was perfect for our family getaway. Within walking distance to SO many amenities (a mile or less) including the Ravens stadium which was the main reason for our trip. Highly recommend the Christmas village in the harbor if staying during the holiday season. After miles of walking and adventuring each day, this property was a sanctuary in the busy city. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the back patio was so relaxing at the end of a long day/night. Host was quick with all responses and keeps this property is amazing condition! If we are ever in the area again, I will absolutely be looking to book this location again.

The property is very clean and in a great location within walking distance or a short Uber ride to the Inner Harbor. I’m sad it stormed both nights we were there because I really wanted to utilize the nice patios! The property owner promptly replied to messages. We would book again.

We enjoyed our two night stay in Baltimore. We do have one concern. When we rented, the owner stated we were a 10 minute walk to Camden Yards. That was far from accurate as the address was shown as a 37 minute walk according to Google maps. So, while we loved the home, we would have appreciated an accurate listing as we wanted to be able to walk to rhe baseball park.

We took a short trip to visit Baltimore after a trip to DC (with my husband and adult daughters). The Federal Hill neighborhood is so charming with walkable restaurants/coffee shops and shopping. We visited Fort McHenry and the American Visionary Art Museum (highly recommended). All but Fort McHenry are within walking distance (and that would be too without the heat). The location of this property can't be beat. It was great to spend time in a Baltimore rowhouse; fun, clean, and easy. Would recommend highly.
