Apartments in Salem

É uma casa antiga e espaçosa. Fica num bairro residencial, perto do centro histórico (10 minutos a pé). Não encontramos um bom supermercado em volta, apenas alguns pequenos estabelecimentos com poucas opções. Os móveis não são novos e rangem. O estacionamento é na rua ou numa estreita vaga ao lado da casa, ambos de graça. Não é fácil achar vaga na rua. O banheiro, assim como o resto da casa, era antigo, mas em boas condições e limpo. O check-in foi fácil e o proprietário nos atendeu prontamente sempre que precisamos. É uma boa opção para visitar Salem. Por outro lado, o transporte público até Boston é caro e demorado, achamos melhor usar o carro.

The whole floor was clean and organized. The whole floor also felt inviting and comforting. We enjoyed how close we where to everthing. We were both so happy with found this apartment.

The property was not in the best condition it was not very clean and the supplier said it can accommodate 8 people but the pull out coach was a single person bed with no extra bedding. Initially we booked for 5 people and then he let him know we had added 3 more total of 8 people which was the max allowed. He said it was $40 per person which is 120 for 3 people plus $40 per night per person which is another $120 He charged us $360 and wanted it Zelled to him instead of completing transaction through Expedia where I originally booked. It was all just to suspicious and didn’t seem right and we were over charged. The house was not the cleanest the pillow cases looked like they hadn’t been washed. The bathrooms walls had water bubbles as if there was a leak in between the walls. Some of the girls got sick let’s hope we weren’t exposed to mold It was close to downtown that was the only good thing. I did message the Person when we got to the house and to this day no response

Property was fine. It is well located to see the sites in Salem. Only negative was that the neighbors were a bit loud at night.

Pros: Very close to area activities Room for 6 adults Cons: Everything about the kitchen was dirty and gross. Decided we wouldn’t be cooking anything and had to wash the dishes before we could use them. No kitchen towels, just 1/2 roll of paper towels and one nasty sponge. Not enough eating utensils. 6 adults staying, only 5 bath towels and 4 hand towels. Had to go to Walmart to buy more towels and wash clothes. Most of the furniture is well used and falling apart. Not very comfortable. Besides the nightly fee and taxes we had to pay a facility fee. When I realized our reservation said 3 adults not 6, contacted the owner and had to pay additional $.
