Villa Apartment Near City Centre

Unique property… offered great living space for large group.

Beautifully renovated apartment, very convenient to transportation…unfortunately there was an ongoing building renovation next door, making for the enjoyment of the garden somewhat limited. Very noisy upstairs residents, who dragged furniture about until 1.00am, as well as the builders starting up at 7.00am…as they are entitled to..left us all feeling sleep deprived. The kitchen, while well appointed was completely lacking in any cooking items like oils, spices, salt and pepper etc. To expect a travelling group of 4 adults to buy all this in order to enjoy a home cooked meal is unfair. The bedding was high quality except for only one somewhat flattened pillow per person…not a happy solution in a sleep challenged situation! Overall a frustrating contrast between beautiful decor and absent home comforts.

We really enjoyed our stay and the appartement offered everything that we needed.The only remark is that some furniture were obviously used quite a lot and it is time to replace them. This affects in the first place the white bed where the leather is broken and also the matteres. In the second place the kitchen could be renewed as well. We nevertheless really liked the appartement and would book it again.

As a large party of 9 with ages ranging from 10 months to 70 years old, finding the right accommodation is never easy. That said this property was spacious and accommodating for us.we were all able to sit at the large table easily The info folder has lots in it but would benefit from some additional info on use of all appliances. There are 2 main bus routes (2A and 5C both stops are both very close ) and take you into the centre of town these run frequently. The Grocery store is just across the square which is really handy. Opening hours and location in the info folder would be good Or a basic welcome pack milk, tea/coffee for people arriving later. On the whole this was a great base for a large party, we were only there for 3 nights and spent most of our time out and about The Bed linen was clean and towles were very welcome. A Travel cot would be a handy addition as our 10 month old had to share the parents bed. A walk in shower would have been good as the spa bath was high to get into so our oldest family member struggled and felt unstable. *The bath isnt sealed so the water does run down the walls and out from underneath it. *We couldn't get the spa to work. It does say not to log out of netflix but it wasn't logged in when we arrived, as we weren't in the property too long we didn't contact the owner. The windows and Back door would benefit from some attention so they can be opened and closed without fear of breaking something though.

Apartment was very close to everything: good variety of restaurants, markets, and transportation! Also appreciated off street parking for a car. Inside was spacious with well equipped kitchen and large bedrooms! Dining and living room were also adequate for larger groups! One word of caution: 4 people sharing one bathroom was a little challenging…not sure how the maximum number of people that the apartment can accommodate (10) could manage with one bathroom. Other than that, apartment was perfect for us!
