Very friendly staff and clean hotel. The beach was within walking distance. I only wish they had a pool but no complaints otherwise. I would definitely stay here again.

Great little place. We loved the modern fireplace in the room and that we could watch Netflix, Disney Plus, etc. The beds were comfortable. Free charging for my electric car was awesome & the charger worked well. Having a cocoa/coffee station was a nice bonus when coming in from the cold beach!

Highly reccomend The Fireside Inn! We stayed 3 nights. Outdoor seating with firepit was fun getting to know other travellers. Everything was spotless, and decor was great! Rooms have modern electric fireplaces, touch lamps, and comfortable beds. Pet friendly too.

AMAZING staff that are super friendly, helpful, and fun. Both the hotel and the saloon (beer & wine only) are worth visiting. Fun beer pouring system that is efficient and entertaining. Free breakfast is what you need to start a day of adventures. They have some of the best beds I’ve ever slept on in a hotel, super comfy. Can’t say enough about the place. We will definitely be back!

Fireside Inn has a lovely outside area with firepits, next to the saloon for a relaxing evening of drinks around the fire! The rooms were clean and in great condition. The staff was super helpful and friendly! I will definitely stay there again!

Nice place, we had a very clean, modern room and I really liked that I could plug in my electric car. Close to the beach and quiet.

The hotel location was nice, just outside of main part of town. There was a great Saloon attached with reasonable prices so that was convenient. They even gave me a special desert since it was my birthday! They had fun outside games, such as cornhole. My only dislike was the breakfast area was right outside our room so we were awoken earlier than we would have preferred. The continental breakfast was very basic. The bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

Loved the room, pet friendly, clean and bed was comfy. Otherwise, Not as advertised, Outdoor area is under contruction, still being built, so we could not bbq, no cornhole game, ended up bringing our firewood home.

Very clean and well designed, everything felt fresh. Loved the hard floors, no carpet! A short walk to the beach or to restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if we are in the area again.

Staff were very friendly however the hard floors were dirty and not nice to walk on barefoot as a result. The walls are super thin and were awakened by the tv and voices at 5:30am in the room next to us. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. We've stayed here a couple times but will not return again.

Wonderful attentive and friendly owner and staff, very clean. Great little breakfast and 24/7 coffee bar and ice water. LOTS of TV channels and board games in lobby if weather bad. Comfy bed and fluffy towels. Short walk to beach. Cute little saloon/restaurant...wish it could stay open later on Fri/Sat night but lots of good options nearby. Great location. Would stay again!

Lady at checkin was friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Gorgeous, comfortable rooms. Loved the fuzzy blankets and super tall windows and ceilings. Fireplace was cozy. Towels were plush and breakfast was nice. Fun staff. Cute town. Would definitely come back. Only complaint was walls need to be insulated. We could hear the words of the neighbors's TV and every snore of the other neighbor.

At first sight, this place is too good to be true. Affordable. Great staff. Comfy modern rooms. Good food and drink. That’s not the problem though. The real issue is thin walls and windows that make you feel like you’re tenting at a campground. Thankfully my wife and I already carry earplugs to hold down the sound of our snorting dog. But you can’t drown out all noises. Our room faced the Main Street and it was apparent that we’d have traffic, horns, sirens and loud engines all night long. It was also July 3rd and the locals love their fireworks…which finally stopped after midnight. Then came the 7 am wake up call that irritated. Our neighbor was on a 10-minute F-bomb tirade. We were just about to call the office …and silence…a few more minutes of sleep? Nope. Now his TV volume kept us up for good. I’ll concede it was the July 4th weekend and maybe the clientele is a bit more on the wild side, but that still doesn’t solve the problem of paper thin walls and windows. This a structural issue that can’t be rectified without major reconstruction. All I know is everything was amazing up until lights out. If you know that going in, it’s not a problem. Most of the noise is mitigated with ear plugs. We might still take a flyer some day and stay again. It’s still a pretty nice place to stay.

we have been using their service every time we visit Long beach. Great and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Tea, water and coffee 24 hours. Nice rooms with smart TV, big windows, high sailing, comfortable beds. Everything is close.

Staff was very friendly, room was clean with no harsh cleaning product smell. Not a close walk to town but a quick drive. Appears to have gotten an inexpensive makeover. Reason for not giving 5 stars is mainly the beds. Both mattresses were quite firm, and extra firm in the middle for some reason. Floors have no rugs so feel very sandy, and we only did one beach walk.

The Fireside Inn is a great property! I would have given 5 stars, but the only complaint is that there wasnt air conditioning in our room and it got quite warm and stuffy. Other than that, our stay was great! The staff were attentive and the place was clean. Will definitely stay there again!

Pros: Very nice and very helpful staff. Quality tv and tv service. Easy parking. Nice small fridge. EV charging. Codes for entry so didn’t have to carry a keycard. Cons: stained towels. No dressers to store clothes. Squeaky metal bed frames and incredibly uncomfortable foam mattresses. No air conditioning. Thin walls.

Had a great stay at Fireside. Is it fancy? No, and we came in a night when the saloon and fire pits were closed and you’re not to close too the beach. However the room is super clean, updated with cool design and was spacious. We got two rooms with queen beds and there was tons of space to move around. Each room has a fridge that is actually cool (not sorta cool) a microwave, and one of those fake fires under the TV with the lights that also warms the room. The hotel is one floor and has accessible showers so this is great for seniors. The TV is Samsung with the Samsung Plus interface so you have tons of free channels and movies available. The lobby has 24/7 ice water, Keurig coffee, hot water for hot drinks like apple cider, hot chocolate, and tea, and even microwave popcorn. I’m definitely booking this hotel again the next time I’m in town. The staff was super helpful and friendly too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the stay. The room doesn't appear to have AC (which we didn't need this time). It does have a ceiling fan and a window does open. However for me if we come back later in summer won't be enough. The walls between rooms are very thin which was a slight issue one night as we could hear our neighbors talking well past midnight... Other than that, it was very pleasant. Hotel is pet friendly and is non-smoking rooms only. This is a huge plus for me as I am allergic to smoke. The 2 free bevarages were 2 bottles of water, which was nice. Small hotel, very quaint , we enjoyed our stay. 😊

I forgot my Bose headphones in my room and the staff called me about returning them to me. I gave them the info needed and they sent them to me through the mail. I thought that was very nice and honest. Very commendable.

This property is a scam - DO NOT BOOK!! I booked a room on expedia but when I arrived the doors were locked and nobody was at the front desk. No cars were in the parking lot. I waited 45 minutes and no separate email came with a pin number, as stated in the door. I called Patrick several times, per instructions on door if there any problems but he never answered. Thanks for making me sit in the parking lot with 3 small kids after 15 hours of travel. Unforgivable.

I called a week before we stayed and asked if we could do anything special for my sons 5th birthday. The front desk lady that I spoke with told me they could do a cake for him for us. They went above and beyond with cupcakes, a card, a balloon, and a kite. This was definitely an experience none of us will ever forget. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My kids loved the breakfast provided and enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Thank you all for making our first family vacation so successful!

Unable to check in. Arrived at property at 3:30. Clear instructions for self check in but the process didn’t work because I was never sent a confirmation code from Fireside. Called at 3:39 and 3:45, but no one answered despite the number being listed as the number to call if help was needed checking in. Also sent messages to the host through Expedia but no one responded. Had to get a different hotel room. Received the door code at 6:55 pm. I was never called back.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived at 9:30pm, we found that they only have workers there til 7pm. My mistake on not checking the from desk hours but 7pm is fairly early for there not to be any workers We could not get a hold of the property manager and there was no way to leave a voicemail, so we were in a pickle trying to find a quick other place to book. We found that Adrift hotel had open rooms so I quickly booked on Expedia then of course, right after I clicked book I had received a text from Fireside Inn (this hotel) saying we were all checked in and just had to use a punch code. We talked to the staff at the Adrift hotel to try to quickly cancel so we could get a refund, they were happy to wave charges after we talked to Expedia. After calling Expedia they were able to contact the property manager at Adrift and I am receiving a full refund. I would have loved to stay at the Adrift for this reason particularly. Very accommodating staff and very happy with Expedia on their part. Fireside Inn did have nice rooms with a fire wall table which was quite nice. There was an outside area with a fire pit and bean bag toss which was a nice touch. Breakfast was very limited so this was a bit of a disappointment. However, the staff was very limited it seems and they were doing evrything they could to help people doing multiple tasks at once. If you plan to stay here just make sure you arrive before the front desk closes and make sure to check your texts.

We were the first Expedia guests at this amazing property and have just returned from another stay. The Fireside Inn remains one of our favorites! No matter what you’re looking for in your next destination, rest assured the owner and his staff are dedicated to making all of their guests feel welcomed and genuinely cared for because they love what they do! They take pride in how they prepare and handle every detail of the guest experience to ensure you will leave with a warmed heart and a smile…they’re the best!

2nd stay here. Always a pleasure. Check in and out is super easy. Rooms are simple and well decorated. Continental breakfast is well stocked and if something is out, you can ask and they usually have it. Close access to beach as well.

The property was very simple but very nice. They maintained the buildings well. Staff was always extremely courteous and helpful. Temperature was always comfortable so no real need for air conditioning but you did have to leave the window open in order to get air. Ceiling fan circulated air in the room. The open window did feel a little exposed to anyone passing by. Just a short walk to the beach and to restaurants and shops

I’ve stayed at multiple places in the Long Beach area over the last few years and this place is my favorite so far. It is extremely clean and the staff are great. It is modern and comfortable. The only somewhat negative is the location which is a little further out of town and less walkable than other places in the area. Other than that the value for the price is great and my family was very comfortable there. I would certainly stay here again.

Fireside is a new and very well kept small hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Walking distance to the beach and lots of great restaurants nearby. They are pet friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much.

The location is close enough to walk to the beach, Discovery Trail, or the restaurants, shops and bakery in the center of Long Beach. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and competent. Good free cookies,

The property was a bit off the beaten path for the crowds, which was nice. It was a couple of blocks walking on a sand and sand grass path to get to the beach.

Simple but very nicely furnished inn, very clean, friendly staff, with breakfast. The beach is within walking distance.

Shower was cold but otherwise the room was great. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Other downside tried to go to the saloon at 9:30 on a Friday night and it was closed.

A nice place to stay. The saloon is a noce touch, especially the pizza and that peanut butter pie.

Everything was great. The only downside was the irregular hours of the restaurant and bar. I understand why but it would have been nice to have them consistent and the same every night. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful at both the hotel and the restaurant

The check in was super easy and the woman who checked us in was incredibly nice. She went above and beyond to make out stay comfortable and I appreciated it! We had dinner at the restaurant the hotel has and it was disappointing unfortunately. But the hotel was beautiful and the rooms were incredibly nice and clean. The breakfast is the basic continental style with something for everyone. I especially loved how much they take care of the four legged guests! They had a dog bed, special sheets to go on the beds for my dog and even special towels for him as well as a bowl and some delicious treats he loved! My son absolutely loved the fireplace in the room too!

This is a nice inn with clean comfortable rooms with space. Beds are firm but nicely furnished. Towels are super soft. The photos on the room and lobby walls are nice but the wall graphics are strange. Check in person is nice. The breakfast is plentifully but unfortunately the milk was spoiled and no one around to replace it. Cookies in the room and hot chocolate in the lobby was a nice touch. Would stay here again.
