Hotel hard to fault. All in very good and clean condition, nice individual decor, good facilities. Comfortable room. Good pool. VG breakfast buffet. Friendly helpful and and efficient staff. Close to excellent beach and tram to Alicante. But resort a bit short of restaurants and shops.

I was not that impressed with our 2 night stay. Firstly, we emailed the reception 2 days before we arrived to ask if there was any chance of checking in earlier as a 4pm check-in is quite late, especially when off-season but to date we've had no response (we're now home) The shower had a rather bad smell coming from the drain. I don't go on holiday to watch tv but I do like it on before bed or when getting ready to go out, not one english speaking channel, which would be fine if you could stream Netflix or Prime but that wasn't available either. Went for lunch and apparently they think it's acceptable to offer a prawn, yes, one prawn for €11. Whilst I know this must be some kind of super prawn, this kind of hotel should not be adding this to a menu that has otherwise standard offerings i.e club sandwich, burger etc. There's only one lift so if the hotel is busy you'll be quicker walking (great when on the 5th floor) Overall, this hotel screams style over substance to me and I would not stay here again.

Overall experience of the hotel was excellent. Great facilities from pool, gym, and restaurant to the services such as poolside service and overall staff interaction. The location was perfect with easy to use Tram network into Alicante and the beach.

Good- food. Good- ambience. Good-bar Good- gardens Not so good -Small rooms ( really small) Paper thin walls where everything can be heard from neighbouring rooms. Poor couldn’t validate my credit card despite it working normally. No help offered.

Sehr schickes Hotel, freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück, der Pool ist wunderschön und es gibt 3 kostenlose Dayneds und ausreichend Liegen, angenehmes Publikum, kurzer Weg zum Strand! Die direkte Umgebung ist etwas langweilig, wenige Restaurants und Bars, eher Neubaugebiet. Aber das Hotel macht es wett! Es war ein wunderschöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt hier

Jättefint hotell, god mat, fint poolområde och nära till stranden. Gymmet var bra och välstädat dock saknade vi ac där. Rummet var fräscht och lagom stort, balkong med delvis havsutsikt. Det enda dåliga med rummet var sängarna, alldeles för hårda!

Really lovely hotel with excellent and friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. It is located a few minutes walk from tram and a very short walk from the beach. Lovely swimming pool but a bit chilly in February! There was some renovation work being done but we were very happy it was being kept to a minimum of disruption.

Zonas comunes, Cafetería, Jardín, piscina, mantenimiento de las instalaciones y la atención del personal son un Hotel 4* SUP. Muy bien ubicado en San Juan. Habitaciones OJO hay restauradas que son las que aparecen en las fotos.Y sin Restaurar qué son de un Hotel de 1 o 2* y es la que a mí me tocó, con el baño y suelos de los años 80/90 pero muy limpio. La próxima vez exigiré la habitación contratada por las imágenes de la web.

Poolen var kall, AC fungerade inte, inga muggar att dricka ur. Fick två inplastade pappersmuggar när vi kom sedan inget mer. Dålig städning. Hård säng och mycket märklig bäddning med bara lakan. Fick inte ens checka in som det stod kl 16 för rummet var inte klart. Problem deras system så mitt bankkort fungerade inte trotts att jag signerade med BankID. Känns olustigt. Bilderna på frukostmenyn som fanns på hotels stämde inte med verkligheten, var inte in närheten så mycket att välja på som på bilderna. Maten på restaurangen var mycket god och delar av personalen var serviceinriktade andra mindre. MYCKET liv då det renoverades på ett av grannhusen med en bil som hade varningsljud på mer eller mindre hela tiden. Började tidigt varje morgon och höll på till ca 17:30.

El hotel es estupendo, la situación inmejorable, es el único hotel que está situado en la playa de San Juan. Cuidan mucho los detalles, el servicio, la limpieza, el desayuno... todo es de 10, y en esta época del año todavía se disfruta más. Recomendable 100%

We arrived earlier than official check in. Reception accommodated us perfectly with use of a room to refresh and leave our luggage,calling us within the hour . We were allocated our room early. Fantastic service throughout our 3 day, 2 night stay. Spotlessly clean hotel. Beautifully decorated .

I didn’t put 5 stars because it seems that it could be better insulated, the next door guest was extremely unpleasant and complaint about my TV noise and conversations in our room. Maybe, the rooms could be better insulated to avoid the issues and bad moments we had, because the guy hit the wall very loudly and demanded that we shut up… so that was not pleasant, and made the rest of our stay slightly uncomfortable because we were worried that he would do it again.

Excellent place to stay. Breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff are “top shelf”. The only issue is the water in the rooms. When you have a shower, the water turns from warm to scalding hot to the point it can cause injury. Would not recommend children or elderly as this could cause a serious burn if children are left unattended attended in the shower

Flott hotell med god mat, spesielt god og fin frokost bufëe. Hyggelig personale men flere av var utrolig dårlige i engelsk. Drar gjerne tilbake, kort vei til strranden og fin og rask trikketur til Alicante sentrum.

One night stay, but will definitely be returning. Beautiful decor in the communial areas, and a modern look to the bedroom and bathroom. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom. We enjoyed a drink and a light bite in the bar area and a superb buffet style breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. A superb all round stay.

We arrived earlier than official check in. Reception accommodated us perfectly with use of a room to refresh and leave our luggage,calling us within the hour . We were allocated our room early. Fantastic service throughout our 3 day, 2 night stay. Spotlessly clean hotel. Beautifully decorated .

Really lovely hotel with excellent and friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. It is located a few minutes walk from tram and a very short walk from the beach. Lovely swimming pool but a bit chilly in February! There was some renovation work being done but we were very happy it was being kept to a minimum of disruption.

The hotel is a lovely boutique hotel near the loveliest beach and 10 min tram ride to city of Alicante. We had the most relaxing time and enjoyed it very much.

Many reviews said the Almerante could be a 4 star and having now stayed there I agree. It is modern, well maintained and very clean. Staff were all polite and helpful. Breakfast items were all good quality though the choice is not as wide as I have experienced elsewhere. Still it was more than adequate. The pool was nice as well, no problem with sunbeds. It is a quiet hotel, which for us was fine.

Flott hotell med god mat, spesielt god og fin frokost bufëe. Hyggelig personale men flere av var utrolig dårlige i engelsk. Drar gjerne tilbake, kort vei til strranden og fin og rask trikketur til Alicante sentrum.

I was not that impressed with our 2 night stay. Firstly, we emailed the reception 2 days before we arrived to ask if there was any chance of checking in earlier as a 4pm check-in is quite late, especially when off-season but to date we've had no response (we're now home) The shower had a rather bad smell coming from the drain. I don't go on holiday to watch tv but I do like it on before bed or when getting ready to go out, not one english speaking channel, which would be fine if you could stream Netflix or Prime but that wasn't available either. Went for lunch and apparently they think it's acceptable to offer a prawn, yes, one prawn for €11. Whilst I know this must be some kind of super prawn, this kind of hotel should not be adding this to a menu that has otherwise standard offerings i.e club sandwich, burger etc. There's only one lift so if the hotel is busy you'll be quicker walking (great when on the 5th floor) Overall, this hotel screams style over substance to me and I would not stay here again.
