The property inside has everything you need. The kitchen is well maintained and stocked with electrical appliances should you choose to eat in. The bedrooms and bathrooms are modern and clean. The bathroom and kitchen are communal, but are cleaned daily. Rooms are air conditioned making summer stays comfortable. The owners are friendly and welcoming, giving a full briefing on arrival. We were surprised to find out that it wasn’t a ‘shared bathroom’ situation, but also shared living/dining/kitchen too. We wouldn’t have booked it if we had realized. The description in the website is somewhat evasive on the subject.

Did not see owner/manager/operator (or anybody else for that matter - we were the only ones there). All communication was electronic. Was a nice enough house. Parking was on the street - the closest we could park when we arrived was half a block away. There was a kitchen available which would be useful if a person was staying multiple days.

Very easy to access as owners live in attached duplex, room are in the back via separate coded entrance. He came down to check us in. Room was modern & clean in a very safe neighborhood. Very comfortable bed. Close to bus line & airport as we were just here for a layover. Common area downstairs with 3 bedrooms upstairs. Definitely recommend.

Bed was not comfortable at all. Needs new mattress. Was surprised that wash cloths were not provided. Maybe it's a Canada thing. Parking was awful. Don't mind on street parking but you have to park quite a ways away from where your staying, not fun

Overall service is excellent. It's very clean and tidy. The host is very friendly. You could have food and groceries nearby. The Skytrain station is only 20 min away. It costs me only CAD20ish if taking Uber to the airport. If going to Richmond, it's only CAD11ish by Uber. However, the room is a bit small for two persons. The air-con is noisy at night. The noise insulation for walls is insufficient. You could clearly hear someone going to the bathroom, walking in the corridor, opening/closing door and even packing baggages.

Quaint little place with very friendly owners. We enjoyed our stay. The only "ding" was that the room was not really large enough to open a suitcase except on the bed. We made do, though, and the hosts were great. Not especially close to main Vancouver attractions, but easy transit system, and it IS close to the airport!

We enjoyed staying at Marpole Guest House. We were warmly welcomed. The common areas including the shared bathroom were modern, clean and well stocked. The location is conveniently close to restaurants, groceries, and transit. This is a great place as a base. Note that rooms with shared bathroom are small with limited space to unpack and spread out.

This multi-bedroom shared apartment in South Granville is good value for money within easy taxi distance to the YVR Vancouver airport. The staff were efficient and helpful, the room was clean and bed solid, and the hot shower was nice after our long journey. Walking distance to many food options on South Granville.

Great stay. Easy walk to Save on and lots of restaurants. We’d never stayed in shared accommodation before. The manager was very easy to deal with and informative. She allowed us to keep our bags in the building as we had a later flight. Would definitely recommend.
Great stay. Easy walk to Save on and lots of restaurants. We’d never stayed in shared accommodation before. The manager was very easy to deal with and informative. She allowed us to keep our bags in the building as we had a later flight. Would definitely recommend.

This was great location with only a short 5 min walk to the bus stop, and a further 5-7 mins to transit train station. 10mins to Vancouver airport by train. 10 mins to save on grocery store and other takeaway options. The property inside has everything you need. The kitchen is well maintained and stocked with electrical appliances should you choose to eat in. The bedrooms and bathrooms are modern and clean. The bathroom and kitchen are communal, but are cleaned daily. Rooms are air conditioned making summer stays comfortable. The owners are friendly and welcoming, giving a full briefing on arrival. The general neighbourhood is quiet and safe. I am extremely happy happy with my choice, would highly recommend this guesthouse.

This multi-bedroom shared apartment in South Granville is good value for money within easy taxi distance to the YVR Vancouver airport. The staff were efficient and helpful, the room was clean and bed solid, and the hot shower was nice after our long journey. Walking distance to many food options on South Granville.

Owners communicate quickly. The property is very clean. We stayed in the king bedroom one night before leaving in the early morning for a flight. This property is located near the airport.

Overall service is excellent. It's very clean and tidy. The host is very friendly. You could have food and groceries nearby. The Skytrain station is only 20 min away. It costs me only CAD20ish if taking Uber to the airport. If going to Richmond, it's only CAD11ish by Uber. However, the room is a bit small for two persons. The air-con is noisy at night. The noise insulation for walls is insufficient. You could clearly hear someone going to the bathroom, walking in the corridor, opening/closing door and even packing baggages.

Quaint little place with very friendly owners. We enjoyed our stay. The only "ding" was that the room was not really large enough to open a suitcase except on the bed. We made do, though, and the hosts were great. Not especially close to main Vancouver attractions, but easy transit system, and it IS close to the airport!

We enjoyed staying at Marpole Guest House. We were warmly welcomed. The common areas including the shared bathroom were modern, clean and well stocked. The location is conveniently close to restaurants, groceries, and transit. This is a great place as a base. Note that rooms with shared bathroom are small with limited space to unpack and spread out.

Didn't stay long, only for one night but the house was very clean and homey. Not a bad walk or bus ride to the Sky Train. I would stay there again.

Loved staying at this location. Was upstairs on the second floor and shared the bathroom with one other room. Downstairs was living room and fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed.
