This place had it all. Pool by the ocean, private places to lounge and even a liquor store at the street. The room had everything too. Coolers beach chairs (the good ones) and the kitchen was well equipped. The lanai had a sofa and a place it eat. The pictures should be updated because this place is way nicer in person.

We had a lovely stay! The grounds were beautiful, both pools we’re inviting and refreshing, the complex was quiet, and barbecue area and pavilion convenient and using to use, The condo itself was very comfortable and the perfect size for us. The kitchen was easy to use. However, the pots and pans and cooking utensils with white sparse. The bathroom was nice, the bed and bedroom was cozy. We spent a lot of time on our lanai, and the daybed got a lot of use! It was a bonus to be able to see the ocean from the lanai.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose ground floor for easy access and it did not disappoint. So nice to be steps away from the beautiful infinity salt water pool, sand, and large community covered patio with tables and chairs and BBQs. The unit itself was very well stocked (above and beyond) and had beach towels, beach blankets, beach bags (check out the cabinets inside and outside). Huge TV in each bedroom, very nice beachy furniture. Very clean. Third unit from the corner closest to the ocean. Great customer service and they allowed us late checkout since we were not flying until 3:30. Just know that you have to stand on the porch and look left for the “ocean view”. Select a second or third story unit for a true ocean view. The nightly sunset conch blowers were an awesome addition as well as the convenience of a mini market on the street side of the property. Like most properties in Kona, there is no sandy beach access. Overall highly recommend!

Loved this condo complex. The unit itself was better than the photos provided.Very spacious for my family of 4. The bathroom was huge. Had tons of towels and pool towels. Plenty of sheets and blankets. Bed was very comfortable but a bit on the small side with luggage. Pull-out couch was comfortable for my kids. TV was a little confusing but we managed. (we didn't need it but my kids did) Large lanai to relax on with a side view of the ocean. Beach chairs and a cooler was provided. Nice to have filtered water from the sink. Kitchen had everything you needed. The garden pool was closed for maintenance but the ocean pool was the one you wanted to swim in anyways! Complex had BBQs but they were very busy at night. Location was nice, a bit farther south from the main area but we didn't mind, do not really like the cruise ship port feel anyways. Would definitely book again.

Great stay at Christy's condo! This is a very nice complex- grounds are beautifully kept and the ocean front pool and beach area are so nice, especially for sunset viewing. Sweet lanai view as well and appreciated being on the 3rd floor and away from the pools. Very quiet, we slept well on comfy bed! Everything we needed for cooking at home, good central location for base camp for Kona adventures. Appreciated having cooler bag and beach umbrella to use during our stay! We would easily stay here again if available. Recommend highly!

Our stay here was wonderful! The condo was set up with everything we needed, including lots of extras. The complex was beautiful and quiet. We loved the oceanfront saltwater pool and private beach. The location on the island was perfect for us, close to Costco and other amenities, in addition to allowing us to take a few separate day trips to the northern part of the island, southern part/Volcanoes National Park, and the eastern side/Hilo for more exploring.

This is a great location, a couple of miles from Ironman race start/finish, quiet property right on the ocean and with a gorgeous Oceanside pool. Our host was very communicative and we had no issues at all.

The location of this place was the best! We loved hearing the ocean at night through the windows. The unit was homey and comfortable. It was also stocked with everything you could possibly every need to be able to cook, personal items, and even items for going on excursions! We also enjoyed having 2 pools and hearing the birds everyday. The only thing was it was hard to get parking at night if you were out late and would need to park outside the gate.

They appreciated the master bedroom with king bed and large bathroom with double sinks. I found the bed in the smaller bedroom very comfortable, and the 2nd shower bathroom just across the hall quite convenient. I had previously owned a unit at "the Casa" as well as stayed at other rental units in the past. This unit on the first floor near the cabana and magnificent oceanfront views, was very convenient. It was also the most fully outfitted of any rental unit I had stayed in: abundant beach towels, linens, kitchenware, appliances, beach equipment like coolers and beach chairs etc. Plus the very essential washer and dryer. VERY fully furnished! Knutson staff were also very responsive to any very minor issues or questions I had, and the experience renting through them was both friendly and efficient. I love the Casa de Emdeko complex, with its beautiful tropical landscaping, pools, and especially the cabana and ocean frontage from which we would watch sunsets...frequently "green flash" sunsets... almost every night. You will enjoy vacationing here!

Great location with 2 pools & small beach. Clean, lush grounds with friendly people. Air conditioner did not work. Blinds intended for replacement were disgusting. New kitchen but old bathrooms & limited storage for clothes. Overall a nice rental but glad we didn’t plan to stay inside much.

I had an amazing 2 week stay. I have been coming to the Big Island for many years and this was my favorite stay. The unit was super clean and set up. The pool area was beautiful and the sunsets breathtaking. I am looking forward to returning next year.

The reason we chose this unit was for the washer and dryer so we could pack less! We never got the dryer to work, the garbage disposal didn’t work, and mildew around the bottom of shower floor! The construction under our unit was a little annoying but other than that it was nice.

Upon arrival we felt as the trip would be successful. The property manager communicated all expectations, processes and answered our questions. When entering into the complex there are security gates surrounding the front side of the property. The main "lobby" area had puzzles and games for guest to choose from and the map of the complex where you can easily find your space. When entering into the home on the right you'll find the one bedroom. Sheets on the bed are so soft, pillows were perfect, and the bed was mighty comfortable. The home does have a small dresser to use. In the closet in the bedroom is where you'll find the cooler, snorkel and boogie board gear. There are two doors to the bathroom. Bathroom was well stocked with all your basic necessities. If you continue down the hallway the third door will be your stacked washer and dryer. They work well on the settings we used. The kitchen was good for two people to be in it at a time, which worked for us. The location and amenities were delightful and we will be staying again in the future.

Location was nice, a bit farther south from the main area but we didn't mind, do not really like the cruise ship port feel anyways. Would definitely book again.

(we didn't need it but my kids did) Large lanai to relax on with a side view of the ocean. Beach chairs and a cooler was provided. Nice to have filtered water from the sink. Casa was a wonderful place to stay in Kona. Cathie was amazing with communication and trying to be helpful in ensuring our stay was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the pools relaxing and having the ocean just steps away to watch the sunset was so amazing!! The only small negative was that the complex was working on the air conditioning so the one in the unit was not functioning properly. That said, it was still comfortable after getting acclimated to the island temps. Cathie offered to bring us extra fans to help. On check out day, we had a late flight out and she gave us a late check out which made our day go so much better!! I would and will definitely stay here again. Thank you Cathie and JP for the use of your lovely place while we were on the island.

Unit was very clean and well appointed: great bed, large bathroom, all the kitchen amenities as well as great pots and pans. The host also provided great beach chairs and beach towels! The air conditioner was very efficient, as were the washer and dyer and dishwasher. We loved the grounds and especially the sea pool, the 'beach' and BBQ's and eating area. The grounds were beautiful. We were there for the month of January and would definitely stay here again, with hesitation.

We loved the beautiful property and enjoyed our stay very much, but don’t feel that young kids are welcome by residents. Pros: The beach, pools, and condo were awesome. Well-stocked with the essentials we needed for vacation (beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, kitchen & BBQ tools, etc). Minor issue with an AC condensation leak, but property manager was attentive, communicated quickly, & took care of it promptly. The condo was supposed to have a cooler, but when we couldn’t find one, the property management allowed us to purchase one & be reimbursed, which was awesome. The kids (8 and 9) loved the pools and grassy areas to play. We travelled with family friends and having communal BBQ’s & tables was great for family meals outside! Cons: There were some families with kids here, but it seems this complex is mostly older couples and retirees, not many kids running around. We had issues with 2 different residents - one who shushed the kids (who were playing on the grass around 7pm, not excessively loud by any means) and another who barked orders at them when she would get in the pool, telling them not to jump in, splash her, or swim/play in “her area”. Rather than address her issues with an adult, she felt it appropriate to boss kids were playing and having fun and not being rude, inconsiderate, or obnoxious in any way…just being kids. We didn’t feel that kids were welcome here and probably wouldn’t book again because of it.

We loved this condo!! Cathie was wonderful. She was so fast in answering our questions and was a very gracious host. The condo was great and had everything we needed, plus some extra things we didn’t expect (beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, cooler). We felt very safe and welcome. We loved the location! It was close to our 2 favorite outings: Night snorkeling with the manta rays and hiking to the Captain Cook Monument and snorkeling there. We will definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay at this condo. Condo well stocked -and clean. We had some trouble with check in and gate codes but manager was fairly quick to respond. Location had a great view at sunset from the pool/common area. Comfy bed and linens. Convenience store/liquor store on site near condo.

To begin, I will say my review is based on what you are looking for. Overall this condo was very clean and well stocked. The grounds and pool were beautiful. Every night we had a gorgeous view of the sunset. We enjoyed being so close to the ocean and watching the cruise ships come and go. The neighbors were friendly and quite. It was within driving distance to most things. When we had a question, someone responded right away. The bed was also very comfortable and the condo has AC. For me personally, I would not stay again for a few reasons. It was on the third floor which made bringing things in and out of the condo a little cumbersome. The parking lot inside the gate fills up quickly a lot of times leaving you having to park outside of the gate. There were only about 4 community BBQs in one location. Again with how far the condo was from that spot and having to go up and down three flights, we never used them for that reason. If you are looking for a place you can easily walk to restaurants and shops this is a little far and some parts have a narrow path to do so.

The building is older but very well maintained. The apartment was vey clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. Close enough to town and other amenities. The 2 pools were great.we enjoyed having a beach umbrella and chairs available.

Great stay at Christy's condo! This is a very nice complex- grounds are beautifully kept and the ocean front pool and beach area are so nice, especially for sunset viewing. Sweet lanai view as well and appreciated being on the 3rd floor and away from the pools. Very quiet, we slept well on comfy bed! Everything we needed for cooking at home, good central location for base camp for Kona adventures. Appreciated having cooler bag and beach umbrella to use during our stay! We would easily stay here again if available. Recommend highly!

The location on the island was perfect for us, close to Costco and other amenities, in addition to allowing us to take a few separate day trips to the northern part of the island, southern part/Volcanoes National Park, and the eastern side/Hilo for more exploring.

Perfect place to stay for our honeymoon. A condo close to the beach, with a very quiet beach lanai and pool. Close to down town Kona for a quick Uber trip or drive. Very easy and secure parking for the rental car. Condo was exactly as described and everything went great!

This place had it all. Pool by the ocean, private places to lounge and even a liquor store at the street. The room had everything too. Coolers beach chairs (the good ones) and the kitchen was well equipped. The lanai had a sofa and a place it eat. The pictures should be updated because this place is way nicer in person.

Coolers beach chairs (the good ones) and the kitchen was well equipped. The lanai had a sofa and a place it eat. The pictures should be updated because this place is way nicer in person.

Well equipped apartment in a beautiful tropical setting. All equipment that you might ever want at the beach is supplied. Protected parking. Everybody is quiet and respectful of others. Gas grills on the property. Beautiful sunsets on the shore. Excellent wi-fi connection in every room. Apartment has washer and dryer.

We had a lovely stay! The grounds were beautiful, both pools we’re inviting and refreshing, the complex was quiet, and barbecue area and pavilion convenient and using to use, The condo itself was very comfortable and the perfect size for us. The kitchen was easy to use. However, the pots and pans and cooking utensils with white sparse. The bathroom was nice, the bed and bedroom was cozy. We spent a lot of time on our lanai, and the daybed got a lot of use! It was a bonus to be able to see the ocean from the lanai.

The kitchen was easy to use. However, the pots and pans and cooking utensils with white sparse. The bathroom was nice, the bed and bedroom was cozy. We spent a lot of time on our lanai, and the daybed got a lot of use! It was a bonus to be able to see the ocean from the lanai.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose ground floor for easy access and it did not disappoint. So nice to be steps away from the beautiful infinity salt water pool, sand, and large community covered patio with tables and chairs and BBQs. The unit itself was very well stocked (above and beyond) and had beach towels, beach blankets, beach bags (check out the cabinets inside and outside). Huge TV in each bedroom, very nice beachy furniture. Very clean. Third unit from the corner closest to the ocean. Great customer service and they allowed us late checkout since we were not flying until 3:30. Just know that you have to stand on the porch and look left for the “ocean view”. Select a second or third story unit for a true ocean view. The nightly sunset conch blowers were an awesome addition as well as the convenience of a mini market on the street side of the property. Like most properties in Kona, there is no sandy beach access. Overall highly recommend!

Loved this condo complex. The unit itself was better than the photos provided.Very spacious for my family of 4. The bathroom was huge. Had tons of towels and pool towels. Plenty of sheets and blankets. Bed was very comfortable but a bit on the small side with luggage. Pull-out couch was comfortable for my kids. TV was a little confusing but we managed. (we didn't need it but my kids did) Large lanai to relax on with a side view of the ocean. Beach chairs and a cooler was provided. Nice to have filtered water from the sink. Kitchen had everything you needed. The garden pool was closed for maintenance but the ocean pool was the one you wanted to swim in anyways! Complex had BBQs but they were very busy at night. Location was nice, a bit farther south from the main area but we didn't mind, do not really like the cruise ship port feel anyways. Would definitely book again.

We had a great stay at this condo. Condo well stocked -and clean. We had some trouble with check in and gate codes but manager was fairly quick to respond. Location had a great view at sunset from the pool/common area. Comfy bed and linens. Convenience store/liquor store on site near condo.

Great stay at Christy's condo! This is a very nice complex- grounds are beautifully kept and the ocean front pool and beach area are so nice, especially for sunset viewing. Sweet lanai view as well and appreciated being on the 3rd floor and away from the pools. Very quiet, we slept well on comfy bed! Everything we needed for cooking at home, good central location for base camp for Kona adventures. Appreciated having cooler bag and beach umbrella to use during our stay! We would easily stay here again if available. Recommend highly!

Unit was very clean and well appointed: great bed, large bathroom, all the kitchen amenities as well as great pots and pans. The host also provided great beach chairs and beach towels! The air conditioner was very efficient, as were the washer and dyer and dishwasher. We loved the grounds and especially the sea pool, the 'beach' and BBQ's and eating area. The grounds were beautiful. We were there for the month of January and would definitely stay here again, with hesitation.

We appreciated staying at the condo, it was clean, very quiet and just steps away from the ocean. We could hear the waves all night long and enjoyed watching the sun set many evenings. The bed was comfortable. Beautiful location would recommend!

This is a great location, a couple of miles from Ironman race start/finish, quiet property right on the ocean and with a gorgeous Oceanside pool. Our host was very communicative and we had no issues at all.
