I do not recommend staying here. When we entered, it stunk and the furniture and window shutters are old and broken. Check-in is through an online kiosk. We never saw an employee all four days. Ice machine is broken. It says temporary but the sign is old. Carpets are old and dingy. Landscaping is ugly and dying. No elevator. Difficult to park in large vehicles. Only 2 bath towels for a very small 2-room suite. No hand towels or wash cloths. Low quality sheets and one thin blanket. No blow dryer, coffee or microwave. Bathroom was clean but small and very outdated. In serious need of remodeling.

The room was clean and the hotel was easy to find. Plenty of parking, especially for LA! There was also an adorable patio in front of our second story room with plants and wrought iron outdoor furniture. Check in and out was simple, booked online. They charge $5 a day for parking, but honestly WORTH IT.

Broken ice machine, only a few local TV channels available. No cable, pool opened late and closed early. Lacks a lot to be desired for the $ paid.

The property was old and in need of repairs. The linens were old and dingy. The bed lumpy. The pool was very dirty and closed at 7pm. Too early.

The hotel looks cute from the outside the inside was a little old, walls with cracks, old carpet. But at least the bed was comfortable and there was lots of close restaurants and shopping. They charge $5 a night for parking, front parking area was very limited spaces. The one thing i thought was ridiculous was they charge you 25 cents at the ice machine for the smallest amount of ice ever, pretty ridiculous they would charge for ice.

The check in was by remote kiosk. The "all inclusive" price did not include a $5.00 a day parking fee. The room was in poor condition with a non-working electrical outlet, broken shutters on the window, and a missing smoke detector. The bathroom lacked washcloths, hand towels, and had a broken toilet paper holder. There were no outlets in the bathroom. There were no hangers in the closet but there was a random wire hanger in the bathroom. While the property looks nice from the outside, it is old and it isclear that the present management is doing the bare minimum to make the rooms habitable. For a bit more monet there are nicer properties in the immediate vicinity.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The pool was clean; the room was clean and nicely decorated; the bed was very comfortable; the bathroom was great. I was very happy here. I will return.

Very nice and quite place. They had a small pretty pool. I did not have time to enjoy but would welc9me comimg back just to relax.

They charge for parking in their lot, I did not see parking fee for this hotel on expedia

I stayed in my clothes. I laid my own blanket down and never took my shoes off. It smelled like urine was DUMPED in the room. I closed the bathroom door, thinking it would minimize the smell. It did not! The urine was all over the floor. The level of smell was astronomical. I wanted to ask for a refund, but it was late, I was traveling alone and had just driven 7 hours straight and I was exhausted when I checked in at 9pm. The front desk clerk left, and never returned. The office was closed. I could not shower, because the bathroom smell was so bad, I didn’t think it was clean or sanitary enough to use. I was gone by 5am. I’m sorry for the bad review. But NO ONE deserves a room that dirty and smelly. No discount price is worth it. Very disappointed I gave it a try. $50 more dollars, I could have booked a Hampton inn. Beware!!

Check in through kiosk. Which I thought was neat. Until I realized there was no staff on-site at all! Housekeeping staff member knocked on my door then proceeded to open the door with her room key before I could get to it. The carpet was dirty when I arrived. Asked for a vacuum but it was broken and was told they’d bring another. No one came! I ended up buying a broom to sweep the room. AC needs cleaning or updating. It made the room smell like mold and mildew. You get what you pay for.

This hotel was full of roaches and it smelled horrible. I couldn’t stay the night which is horrible because I got this play to sleep after our trip to universal studios horror nights. This was our fourth year booking a hotel here and we are very dissatisfied with how dirty this place was and how rude their employees are. We tried to get a solution and the woman just kept repeating that the manager was not available and that there was nothing we can do but just sleep there. That is a hazard I do not want roaches in my belongings or on me and I do not want to be smelling rancid smells. I have more pictures of the roaches on my boyfriends phone. They haven’t even returned my money and I left that place at 3 am.

Excellent for a budget motel. Immaculate bedding, towels, and fridge. Helpful staff. Easy walk to Trader Joe's and fast food options. On public transportation routes. So quiet and peaceful.

I found cockroach's and dirty carpet

Definitely an example of getting what you pay for. There were stains on the bedsheets and shower curtain. Bugs crawling around the shower. The floor was obviously old and sank in throughout the entire room. Refrigerator had crusty spots in the bucket. Even after we wiped down the entire room there was no way i could stay. Left quickly and would never come again. Avoid at all costs.

Very old building. Bathroom in poor condition and the mattress very uncomfortable. The carpet in the room was very dirty and old. It should be changed

I only stayed here 2 nights but it was great. I’d definitely stay here again. The property is small and a bit on the older side but it is very clean and well taken care of. In 1 room was myself, my husband and sister and we got a double queen room and in the se one room was a family of 4 (2kids 2 adults) also got a double queen room. The rooms were very spacious and were all happy with the room and comfort of the beds.

Room had so many bed bugs. We had to leave room.

Maybe not other rooms, but my room’s window blind was broken so I asked if I could move to other room but they said no vacancy. Also my room did not have cable tv and only two channels in English. Other than these little inconveniences I satisfy with my stay considering the price.

The room next to me had the TV on until midnight and back on at 4 am. I could hear them talking through the walls also at 4am. They wouldn’t let me cancel my second night but I left anyway. You get what you pay for so I accept that.

An older motel but very well maintained with pool. Lacking some amenities in room (coffeemaker, microwave), but clean and comfy with good AC. Pleasant staff.

Quiet, cute inn. The staff were friendly and area around the inn has nice neighborhoods to walk through (beware of coyotes - encountered a pack on our walk that chased us!). There’s a nice Italian restaurant across the street. Downsides: No hair dryer like most places as expected, had to go buy my own. The outlets are not up to code. The shower did not work properly - majority of the water came out the faucet so had very little water pressured

This is a minimalist hotel: Clean room & bed: but definitely lacking. Limited parking, for which they charge $5. There was no clock or tissues ("hotel Policy", I was told). No microwave, no water, no coffee... NOTHING! The blanket, wouldn't keep anyone warm, very thin material, I was cold, as I don't do well with heaters. The shower/bath fixtures were just awful: the worst/cheapest of cheap showerhead; the diverter allowed most of the water to flow through the tub faucet it almost falling off the wall, and the tub did not drain; so I was standing in about 1.5 inches of water. When I reported it to the front desk, the young person there didn't care. I think I'll stay somewhere else next time.

The property is not old however it was not built with utility in mind, especially the bathroom. For example, there is no electric outlet in bathroom, and toilet is inconveniently situated behind a tightly opened door. King bed is so close to the desk that there is no room for the chair. One or two nights of stay is fine.

The building is ok, service is bad, TV with bad signal, not enough outlets, the put you 2 small towels in the bathroom, they charge you for the parking, not tablelamps no way to call frontdesk from your room, will not stay again in this place.

Noise.

Friendly folks in the office. The room smelled a little like mildew. The cabinet that held the fridge had water damage and the carpet had a wet spot by the bathroom when we arrived. The blinds weren’t all functioning. There are only overhead lights and no bedside lamps. Other than that it was fine for sleeping.

I paid them cash for the room and they still charged my credit card and will not give me a refund even with receipts

If all you care about is a quiet, safe and clean place to sleep, this is it. No frills, and a bit run down, but in a great location (close to restaurants), nice neighborhood, safe, and clean. Service was fantastic. This is the first time I ever used what looks like an ATM machine with my hotel receptionist in the screen. Takes a bit to get used to but what a brilliant idea. Honestly, for the price this place is a AAA value.

Location was nice, lots of restaurants nearby. No person to check us in. It was all AI/virtual service. No service or amenities. We had 4 people in our room and no bath towels. None. We tried to get some, but only had an AI virtual host to talk to and he couldn't provide any. He said housekeeping would be by in a few hours and we could get some then.... So I guess you are expected to hang out at the hotel and hope housekeeping shows up eventually. Bed was comfortable, but the room was HOT. No real AC. The room never really cooled off. Very meh. Did the job, but next time would probably spend a bit more somewhere else.

BUYER BEWARE Welcome Inn ignored their stated policy so that they could steal my dollars. Expedia refuses to hold them accountable to their own policy. Don't stay here, they have no interest in doing good business.

The front desk is not staffed 24 hours and noone answers the phone and voicemail is not set up so if you lose your key or it gets demagnized after hours, you are screwed. There was no hair dryer in the room so I had to leave with wet hair since no one answers the phone and no one was at the front desk. I was there on Super Bowl Sunday and the TV didn't work so I could not watch the game. I went downstairs to get ice and was shocked there is a charge for ice.

I received a call to confirm my reservation early that day. I was told as long as I was there by 10pm, there were no problems. I had a delay at the car rental and I was not able to make it until 11:15pm. A staff member stayed until I got there since I kept in touch with them. The only thing missing was a microwave to warm food up. Other than that, I was happy with the stay.

Check in was done through a kiosk. No human interface. FaceTime check in. In fact, we saw no workers at all. We saw other guests but not a single worker.

No real life person available for help. You speak through a kiosk. Not ideal for someone who prefers in person help. Kiosk Staff is friendly and helpful though.

First of all they started calling me at 1:00 in the afternoon asking me when I was going to show up to check in. I had already talked to them and told them I wasn't going to get there until after midnight and was that okay and they said yes. That was before I booked. Then as soon as I booked they started calling me and called me about every 45 minutes and told me that I needed to get there before 10:00 in the evening. Which I told them was impossible because I was driving from another state. They still kept calling me and harassing me and I told him just to refund my money. They refused but also said that I needed to get there more quickly. I told them that I was going to get there as soon as I could that I wasn't going to speed but they would have to wait. They kept going on and on about how they had to close at 10:00. I told him there wasn't anything I could do about it that I had already called them. Then when we got there the room was dirty there was no hand soap in the bathroom fridge smelled bad and the sheets were not clean. We ended up sleeping on top of the sheets. On the blankets. We were trying to find another place but had an activity during the day that left us so exhausted we were just too tired to keep looking. So we went back there again. My wife called me from out of state and I went outside of the room to speak with her. At that time there was a family trying to check into the hotel and I could hear them saying but we've already paid for it online

Welcome Inn has ATM machine kind with TV used for checking in. Reyired couple in front took 20 minutes renting a room. No humans in property. Was called 3 times before checking in and emailed once. Don't understand concept of vacation.

Easy to get to from 210 freeway. Walking distance to restaurants. It is 20 miles from downtown Burbank or downtown Altadena.

Good location, nice neighborhood to walk around in; hotel was a little expensive for the quality of the rooms but it was clean and safe which is most important.

Had a really pleasant stay here! The grounds are very cute and well maintained, and the rooms were nice and clean. Was a great place to return to during our trip - we used public transit to get everywhere and were very pleasantly surprised by the frequency of the buses in this area. (There is also an excellent taco truck nearby, as well as a trader joes for grabbing snacks and drinks.)

A good low-cost inn with the essentials. Mostly just upset that the room did not include a microwave when it was pictured in the photos that there would be one. It's not perfect and has its quirks, but if you're just looking for something affordable that does the job, this place is pretty good.

The large-screen live check-in was my first. It was simple, complete, and efficient. However the room was lacking face cloths, hand towels, and Kleenex. Also no coffee or anything for breakfast, or ice machine.

The amenity is very very limited. No kettle or coffee brew facility. No power plug in bathroom.
