Akkan Beach Hotel

La habitación olía a caño porque el olor salía del baño. La limpieza no es muy buena. La taza estaba manchada de amarillo de donde le salía el agua apestosa Nunca hay nadie en la recepción. Pedimos un taxi y al día siguiente nos dijeron que no había ninguna solicitud. Tuvimos un problema y necesitamos hablar al hotel y después de insistir durante hora y media logramos que alguien nos contestara. Solicitamos una habitación de lujo con vista al mar y balcón y nos dieron una ayuna fel techo del pasillo de entrada con los Leones casi en frente y la jardinera llena de colillas de cigarros, cuando solicité una de no fumadores. Las habitaciones tienen un clóset pequeño para colgar ropa pero no hay cajones o algo para guardar lo demás. Ese hotel necesita que le cambien la tubería y le den mantenimiento. El staff muy servicial. Nos ofrecieron la mejor habitación con vistas a la piscina y al mar, que está sólo al cruzar la calle. El desayuno increible. Nunca hebisto tanta variedad. Todo preparado en el momento y casero. Totalmente recomendable.

Oda bakımsızdı. Mobilyalar lekeli, banyo elemanları paslı, havlular lekeli. Temiz değildi. Lavabo biraz tıkalıydı. Balkon uzun süredir yıkanmamış gibiydi. Balkon zemininde kum birikmişti. Personel güleryüzlü ve saygılıydı. En iyi şey plajdı. Plajda şezlonglar şemsiyeler ve resepsiyondan talep edilince verilen plaj havluları en pozitif yön. Sakin bir bölgede ulaşımı kolay ve denize sıfır olması güzel. Keşke odalar biraz daha temiz olsaydı.

Though excellent location for quietness and not being in the busy town centre but on a flat & short walk to the to town restaurants/bars/shops/cafes & taxi rank if required. A key plus of having its own section of the local beach right in front of the hotel, was a key factor in its choice. However, its clearly a hotel mainly geared for Turkish guests & definitely one not suitable for non Turkish speaking guests. Attempted tele calls by myself & hotels.com prior to holiday were either not answered or advised that a call back to be made at a time to speak with someone who spoke English. On actual arrival this proved the same at certain times of day & night. However, we got by. Breakfast very geared to Turkish guests dietary preferences, however their bread was aways fresh & tasty preserves but other than water melon no other fruit served. The beach loungers are not as shown in the photographs & pool ones also rather tired and grubby in look. A number of the reception staff ignored any greeting and mostly didn't acknowledge your presence as you passed. Twice cleaner staff turned up at 4pm to clean the room, which we declined and always had to ask for the room to be cleaned and request fresh towels. As a British guest, we certainly felt like a 2nd class citizen, especially with a couple of male staff who responded more proactively with single female guests. Likewise one interrupted us at reception whilst checking in and the receptionist stopped serving us with no apology.
