City Hotel Hameln

No air conditioning. I know I sound like a whiny American, but the temp was over 100 degrees F. No fans in the room. We slept with the windows open but it didn’t help much. Sweated all night. Got sick. The building is beautiful and in a great location. I hate to complain about the lack of air conditioning but Europe has to adapt to the modern world. If I stayed at a place with no A/C in Texas, it would get a one star.

Yes, this property is dated.... BUT it's spotlessly clean, massive sized room and comfy beds. Located in a quiet area. The owner was helpful and friendly. We'd definitely recommend staying here especially for the price. Thank you.
