Penthouse & apartments by the Sea airport Airstay

Booked this hotel because it was not a far drive from the airport and it was steos to a beach. Room was nice, big and clean checkin was easy. Nice beach just outside the room and lots of shopping/dining options close by. I was able to find street parking close by but I can see it being an issue as it is a very busy area. We got the room on the street side and it was pretty noisy with all the traffic especially the loud motorcycles most of the night but still managed a decent sleep. Something to be aware of if your a light sleeper, the beach side rooms might be a little quieter. Overall a good stay.

The property though a bit interesting to find, was in a unique location with a great patio overlooking the sea. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Exceptionally new and clean. Parking was a bit challenging, but after I located the property was able to find a lot within a short walk. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Right on the beach, beautiful swimming area, with many restaurants in walking distance. Apartment is right on the main road, and while street noise did not bother me or my daughter at all it did bother my husband. Apartment/rental itself was compact, has elevator to get upstairs, beautiful roof top to sit and enjoy the view. Pretty convenient to the airport, we were able to book a taxi for 25 euros one way and also the host was able to store our luggage (7 pieces total) for a few hours for a reasonable fee.

This is an amazing apartment. Great views, lots of food and stuff to do. You just have to know that parking is terrible around the area in tourist season on the weekends. You need to find a parking spot by 10 am or you are in trouble.

Insgesamt ordentliche Unterkunft. Wir waren im Appartment D1. Herrliche Dachterrasse und schöner Blick über den Strand. Bequemes Doppelbett, die Einrichtung insgesamt ist zweckmäßig, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Die Dusche macht keinen guten Eindruck mehr. Noch kann ich die Unterkunft empfehlen, bald muss hier aber investiert werden.

We stayed in a penthouse apartment (sounds bougie, but the price was excellent!). The view from our apartment was lovely. Our apartment was on the roof, and we had access to a covered picnic table. The town was really Greek and not touristy. The beach was fabulous and had a walkway near it to enjoy. It’s only a 20-minute cab ride to the airport—a wonderful place to visit before or after a cruise, or just by itself!

Small one room efficiency PERFECT for 2 people overnight stay from the airport. Beautiful view of sea!! The bathroom shower track needs a good scrubbing, but rest of the apt is spotless. The elevator was a big help with luggage. Lots of places to eat and drink. And you can walk right out of property to beach and sit w umbrellas and a beach bar w food attached! Loved it!

Codes were easy to use to enter unit. It was a cute unit and had everything we needed. There was a noce little area off the back of the unit that led to the beach. A couple of downsides-parking. On the side street where the unit is located there were cars parked on both sides which made it extremely hard to get on the street to park or get out. Next, there were small ants all over the bathroom. Hot water-we did not see the notice about turning on a switch for hot water at least 20 minutes before using. If using hot water, just know you may have to do this in advance.

Parking is super bad in this area. The apartment and food in walking distance is great. I would stay here again.

The way the property is described on expedia is nothing like what it really is Located in a very bad neighborhood with a lot of noise. Drunk people walking by the windows all night long and a truck hit the building while we were there and shook the whole building and it was surrounded by police. Event above the shower had black mold in it and the water for the shower drain water kept bubbling up through it. We stayed one night out of 7 and after multiple complaining. I still was only able to get back a hundred and forty five dollars for a week stay. We left after one night and paid extra money we couldn't afford just to be in a better neighborhood with a better place to stay. The scenery outside is nice but that's about it

The door knob to bathroom was broken and also the shades. The apartment should have been cleaned properly. Overall beautiful place and location.

I was shocked by the apartment. Very practical because you're near the airport and their taxi system works very well. But, dear, the bathroom was horrible (and the smell), with mold everywhere, the floor with dirt, the dishes were badly clean, you can hear everything in the building, mostly when people slam their door. And the neighborhood... Terrible, not welcoming at all. In a nutshell, practical for the airport, horrible for a longer stay.

This was a great last resting stop before travelling home. Perfect location to the airport, it was nice to have the beach so close. The building is run down and the apartment could use some updating. But the view was spectacular and the location to the beach was perfect. As for cleanliness the flooring needs a good cleaning, it felt sandy as soon as we arrived. But all and all it was a clean condo. Communication was great, and an easy check in and out.

Dont stay here. Strong smell of poop.

The apartment smells awful like cat urine as soon as I walked in the door. The terrace doors have no screens on them so it was hard to air out the room without letting one of the many stray cats in. The beach access is directly beside the patio so there was a lot of foot traffic very close to the terrace. The main entry door on the building slams shut so loudly that the apartment door shakes like someone is hitting it with a battering ram, and the whole area is not quiet at all. I would only recommend this place to a group of men looking to party into the wee hours of the morning. Not for quiet travellers or families.

Property was spotless and convenient to all that we needed for our short stay.

I loved the stay at this beachside condo. It was clean, airy, and had great views. The dining and local shopping options couldn’t have been better. The air conditioner was very powerful! It was also very nice to have a clothes drying rack on the balcony.

Overall we are happy with the accommodations, but some items definitely need attention and/or repair. The electric security blinds in the bedroom did not operate up or down and the bathroom door lock is broken. We were pleased that the beds for both bedrooms were clean and prepared for the four of us, and the location was nice and safe.

There is no staff....would't send access codes to the exact check-in time? Two different WiFi access numbers? Very loud between a man singing upstairs and the dog barking next to my right, not to mention someone dragging a chair across the room/all the time?(singing 1am -2am)

The apartment was big and comfortable. The area was nice, good dining, supermarket is walkable and convenient. People are welcoming and helpful.

La chambre est très mal occultée : dès que le soleil se lève, la lumière inonde la pièce — à éviter si vous aimez dormir dans le noir complet. Le bouton de réglage de la douche est aussi cassé, ce qui complique son utilisation. La décoration est vieillotte et les finitions laissent vraiment à désirer pour le prix demandé. Il faut également savoir que le logement est assez isolé : aucun transport direct vers l’aéroport (25€ de taxi minimum), et l’arrêt de bus le plus proche de l’aéroport implique 45 minutes de marche. La communication se fait uniquement via un chat en ligne, sans véritable échange humain. À notre demande de check-out tardif, on nous a répondu que le ménage serait fait « en dernier », mais la femme de ménage est arrivée 15 minutes en avance et m’a demandé de quitter les lieux sur le champ, de manière franchement désagréable. En résumé : une vue sympa, mais un logement surcoté au vu des prestations, du confort réel et du service.

The place was very nice. Nice building, quiet area with dining options around. Very close to the airport (20 minutes by taxi). The place is also comfortable and big in size, and even have a small nice kitchen. The only problem I had was with the shower: the hot water run out after a few minutes and I had no hot water for my entire stay, not very nice in the winter. Also, the shower cage is too small, and the water from the shower are running outside, which flooded the entire bathroom. Apart from that, it was very nice.

The unit was spacious, the need to access the water heater was a little funky. The interior decor was functional but outdated.

When I booked this property I had booked for 3 people. 2 beds. When we arrived there was only 1. This is not what I had booked and not what I paid for so unfortunately this is what is reflected in my review.

Very modern looking and clean. Management was on point with communication. I will definitely stay there again.

They gave us early check in after we got off our cruise and were very helpful even with the language barrier. The beach was literally steps away, right out back

Stay was short but great. The place was a bottom corner unit, quiet, near a lot of places to eat, right on the beach and very easy to find. Getting a taxi in the morning to the airport was crazy easy. We would stay there again in a second.

There was no hot water in the shower. I messaged to the owner but never received any feedback.

Was a really nice place to book at the last minute due to travel plan changes. Literally right on the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This property was located in a sketchy part of town. Did not feel safe. Loud people til 1am. Could not sleep.

building. There was a horrible smell when you first walk in the building. We also arrived very late, there were no light in the hallways/entrance. The building from outside and the neighbourhood are very sketcky, nothing like pictured. Had i known this prior, which i should of by reading previous comments, i would of never paid over 300$ for this and never stayed at the property. That said, once you enter the appartement it is in great condition and clean. Communication and pre mail were fantastic as well!

This was perfect for an overnight stay. Close enough to the airport. But the beach was such a beautiful thing to go to sleep and wake up to. Walked on the beach before checking out. It has coffee and shampoo/soap.
