Property is beautiful and our room was great. Being able to watch sunset in your own private jacuzzi bath was bliss. Breakfast was okay, only issue we had was with loungers. There are not many loungers and people were coming down at 6am to reserve multiple beds some in the shade and some in the sun. I wish the staff had been more upfront with moving towels if the beds were not in use, however, a lot of the guests were incredibly rude to staff so can’t blame them for not wanting to cause an issue.

The property was nice, staff were very friendly. The morning buffet was great, however the other meals from the restaurant were just ok. The pool bartenders were very slow, and did not know how to make the drinks which was odd seeing there was not much for options on the menu. The views from the roof top were spectacular. Overall we had a good stay.

Sis Kata was a pleasant surprise. We booked last minute and they were very accommodating. The staff were friendly and bright, and the service was prompt. The property was beautiful, modern and full of lush greenery. The rooms however are on the smaller side and very poor lighting in bath and toilet areas. For three adults it was a tight squeeze. The beds are soft, except for the “pull out” which was very hard on the back. The property offers a beach shuttle which is convenient, except when it forgets to pick you up from the beach. Luckily it’s just a 10 min walk UP A STEEP HILL, so wear your walking shoes. The spa service was AMAZING, such a treat make sure you give it a try! Unlimited complimentary water was a plus, breakfast was included with our reservation, it was good with plenty of options. We also tried the lunch service, the food was good but you can find better Thai options on the street. 20min walk from Kata Market. Overall we enjoyed our stay, highly recommend.

The Staff are lovely, and the rooms and pools were very clean. Breakfast buffet was awesome, a lot of options and very good food. Unfortunately the restaurant was otherwise not very good. I found the lunch and dinner options to be bland and often cold. The roof top pool was amazing with a gorgeous view but the swim up bar was terrible, the only part of the hotel with grumpy service and the bartenders had no idea how to make any of the 5 cocktails offered. Don't let this discourage you though, the hotel is very walk-able to restaurants, Kata beach, and the night food market. We had a wonderful stay and would consider going back.

Nice newer hotel with a great pool on the top with an amazing Panoramic view. Room is comfortable with a great comfortable bed. We like this hotel and recommend it to everybody.

Mycket bra hotell, fantastisk frukost. Rummet kändes modernt och sängen jätteskön vilket är ganska ovanligt i Thailand. Poolen var bra med många solstolar samt poolbar. Nära till stranden och restauranger ca 5 minuter. Hotellet ligger uppe på en brant backe så om man tycker det är jobbigt att gå så är detta hotell inte idealiskt.

Fint hotell og fint bassengområde. Veldig god frokost i fin frokostsal. Hyggelig betjening. Eneste minuset er at det er for få solsenger ved bassenget, og det er ingen regler mot å holde av solsenger. De fleste solsengene var «reservert» tidlig på morningen selv om ingen var der. Hvis man liker å sove lenge og ønsker å tilbringe tid ved bassenget så bør man revurdere dette hotellet.

It might have been 4* at some point but it's feeling really tired now. Most of reception staff English is limited so communication is very difficult. Our room hasn't been cleaned properly (ash tray was still dirty, hair, mirrors) and even after asking 2 more times, our mirrors never got cleaned do we gave up asking. The last time that our balcony glass must have been cleaned was at best 6 months ago - it was full of bird poo and dust which has clearly been there for absolute ages. Very disappointing. Checking in was unnecessary long as well. They seem to have lots of staff at reception but that doesn't seem to have any positive impact on the service speed. Breakfast was great though and the pool is lovely.

Beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast selection, attentive staff and a wonderful view over the sea and beach. A short walk from the town and beach which does involve a bit of a hill!

Great amenities in the hotel. The rooms are modern and well equipped, as the rest of the hotel. Brilliant hotel for Instagram pictures. Our room was cleaned properly on the first day but after that they only bothered to change towels that needed changing and make beds. Staff are friendly when you establish a conversation otherwise they seem a bit rude. Staff at the cresent bar are lovely though. Breakfast is good but gets a bit boring after 2 days as seems the same everyday. On thw last day we were locked out of our room before checkout time. We had to go all the way to receptikn to sort out which was a pain as no lift in our room block and a good set of 2 stairs in the heat. Not impressed. Overall a good hotel but needs attention to details. One last thing,the beach is only 10 walk but it is on a hill...which is not the problem, the thing is that the terrain is very uneven and hard to walk in flip flops!! And with traffic coming on both ways. The hotell needs to sortt out access.

This hotel was picture perfect, it looked exactly like the pictures& the reviews published were spot on. The breakfast buffet was delicious& some hot items changed each day. The variety, service, and taste of breakfast is unlike anything you're Ever experienced. The swim up room was beautiful as well as the entire hotel. The service of cleaning our room was very slow& it wasn't cleaned most days, but it didn't take much away from our stay. The food in general that the hotel serves is delicious. Overall I give this hotel a 10 out of 10. It's also cheaper to book through Expedia

The staff in the hotel was nice and helpful however, sadly we didn't had a good experience with the cleanness of the hotel and the room. Our shower was all full of mold on the walls and floors and spiderweb on the ceiling, the pool floor was all full of mud and so slippery so disappointing. The hotel in general need a lot of maintenance.

Clean and quiet hotel. Lovely rooftop pool to watch the sunset. Less than 10 minutes walk to the beach and they also have multiple complimentary shuttles throughout the day to the beach. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room had a Jacuzzi on the patio.

Beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast selection, attentive staff and a wonderful view over the sea and beach. A short walk from the town and beach which does involve a bit of a hill!

The hotel looked nice overall but the rooms felt a little dated. We booked a larger room but the shower set up was pretty bad with a poorly working rain shower and a handheld shower head that’s only waist level high. The included hotel breakfast was very average with few choices and the hygiene of the food was a concern as it was an open air eating area and a lot of the foods were left out in the open and I often saw flies hovering over them, and even saw birds landing on the breads. As other reviews have pointed out, there is quite a steep walk back up to the hotel and it can get quite intense in the heat and the petrol fumes from vehicles zooming past you. We also got unwell during our stay so the walk up the hill was extra difficult. The hotel is properly nice for a very brief stay but spending 5 nights here felt a bit too long.

Sis Kata was a pleasant surprise. We booked last minute and they were very accommodating. The staff were friendly and bright, and the service was prompt. The property was beautiful, modern and full of lush greenery. The rooms however are on the smaller side and very poor lighting in bath and toilet areas. For three adults it was a tight squeeze. The beds are soft, except for the “pull out” which was very hard on the back. The property offers a beach shuttle which is convenient, except when it forgets to pick you up from the beach. Luckily it’s just a 10 min walk UP A STEEP HILL, so wear your walking shoes. The spa service was AMAZING, such a treat make sure you give it a try! Unlimited complimentary water was a plus, breakfast was included with our reservation, it was good with plenty of options. We had a great stay at the Sis Kata! The property is beautiful and in a great location! Staff, breakfast, and facilities were top notch as well. One thing to note is that we did hear a lot of street noise from inside our room, which kept us up at times, but I think that was likely due to the location of our room and hopefully is not an issue for most guests. Either way, would highly recommend!

This is the best place to stay in Kata Beach, the kindest staff, most beautiful scenery, panoramic views, sensational breakfast, its nice to see the beach from above and then a 5 minute walk to the beach, stay in the ocean front rooms with bath on deck for ultra romance

The SIS Kata is a stunning hotel perched above Kata Beach, offering incredible sea views, stylish modern rooms, and a really relaxed, luxurious vibe. The infinity pool area is a highlight — perfect for watching the sunset — and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help with anything I needed. The location is also great, just a short walk down to the beach and local shops. However, my stay was overshadowed by a bout of food poisoning I unfortunately got after eating at the hotel’s restaurant. Mycket bra hotell, fantastisk frukost. Rummet kändes modernt och sängen jätteskön vilket är ganska ovanligt i Thailand. Poolen var bra med många solstolar samt poolbar. Nära till stranden och restauranger ca 5 minuter. Hotellet ligger uppe på en brant backe så om man tycker det är jobbigt att gå så är detta hotell inte idealiskt.

I think they need to improve of check in process. Pretty take time and if we did not ask when we got the room, maybe they did not come to us. The weather is hot , and your service made hotter, we came to sit the first one in air - con room but your team served our welcome drink 30 min later and after the second the person came after us. The rest were good , room and in room dining servers were friendly. Basically the check out , we knew 12.00 pm. And this is the first place in the world as I travel came to knock the door to expel us since 11:45. And one minute later. Front desk called to us and said to us for check out again. Please respect the guests time. By the way love the property , nice and clean. Only the first and last impression that ruined the feeling.

The property was nice, staff were very friendly. The morning buffet was great, however the other meals from the restaurant were just ok. The pool bartenders were very slow, and did not know how to make the drinks which was odd seeing there was not much for options on the menu. The views from the roof top were spectacular. Overall we had a good stay.

The Staff are lovely, and the rooms and pools were very clean. Breakfast buffet was awesome, a lot of options and very good food. Unfortunately the restaurant was otherwise not very good. I found the lunch and dinner options to be bland and often cold. The roof top pool was amazing with a gorgeous view but the swim up bar was terrible, the only part of the hotel with grumpy service and the bartenders had no idea how to make any of the 5 cocktails offered. Don't let this discourage you though, the hotel is very walk-able to restaurants, Kata beach, and the night food market. We had a wonderful stay and would consider going back.

We had an lovely stay at the SIS. The facilities, including the rooftop pool, are amazing! All of the staff were very friendly, especially Charles who helped us settle into our room. The breakfast was better than we have ever experienced from a hotel breakfast buffet. We would return!

Perfect in every category I could not fault this hotel it is highly recommended and I will definitely return. Staff went above and beyond always I returned one day with an injury from outside the resort staff were so concerned and placed a get well soon stick message on my bed little things that leave lasting memories 🙏🙏🙏

We absolutely loved our stay at the SIS Kata. It was well located near the amazing Kata Beach. We especially loved the rooftop pool at the hotel, which we made use of at least once a day to watch the sunset. The happy hour drinks by the pool are a plus. We would happily stay here again. If I had to point out a negative, it would be that there should be a more regular shuttle that takes guests of the hotel down the hill from the hotel to the beach, including at night. There is no sidewalk on the hill which, while manageable in the day, can be dangerous when walking to restaurants at night.

Great amenities in the hotel. The rooms are modern and well equipped, as the rest of the hotel. Brilliant hotel for Instagram pictures. Our room was cleaned properly on the first day but after that they only bothered to change towels that needed changing and make beds. Staff are friendly when you establish a conversation otherwise they seem a bit rude. Staff at the cresent bar are lovely though. Breakfast is good but gets a bit boring after 2 days as seems the same everyday. On thw last day we were locked out of our room before checkout time. We had to go all the way to receptikn to sort out which was a pain as no lift in our room block and a good set of 2 stairs in the heat. Not impressed. Overall a good hotel but needs attention to details. One last thing,the beach is only 10 walk but it is on a hill...which is not the problem, the thing is that the terrain is very uneven and hard to walk in flip flops!! And with traffic coming on both ways. The hotell needs to sortt out access.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut! Selbst nach 2 Wochen Aufenthalt gab es noch genug zum ausprobieren. Das Hotel und die Aussicht sind noch besser als auf den Bildern dargestellt! Das Zimmer hat eine etwas andere Aufteilung als üblich, ist aber dennoch klasse. Sauberkeit in den Zimmern war okay. Die Lage des Hotels ist zum Teil perfekt: es liegt etwas abseits von den Menschenmengen, dennoch sind Restaurants, Märkte und Supermärkte schnell zu erreichen und zu Fuß kommt man schnell zu zwei verschiedenen Stränden. Da das Hotel etwas höher liegt bietet es eine unglaubliche Aussicht und Sicherheit. Das einzige Manko ist, dass es sehr anstrengend ist jeden Tag hoch zum Hotel zu laufen.

The hotel restaurant literally almost killed me with food poisoning. There’s better safer hotels to go to. People are friendly. It was a five minute walk to my room from the lobby up 3 stairwells and down.

The roof top pool was amazing with a gorgeous view but the swim up bar was terrible, the only part of the hotel with grumpy service and the bartenders had no idea how to make any of the 5 cocktails offered. Don't let this discourage you though, the hotel is very walk-able to restaurants, Kata beach, and the night food market. We had a wonderful stay and would consider going back.
The Staff are lovely, and the rooms and pools were very clean. Breakfast buffet was awesome, a lot of options and very good food. Unfortunately the restaurant was otherwise not very good. I found the lunch and dinner options to be bland and often cold. The SIS Kata is a stunning hotel perched above Kata Beach, offering incredible sea views, stylish modern rooms, and a really relaxed, luxurious vibe. The infinity pool area is a highlight — perfect for watching the sunset — and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help with anything I needed. The location is also great, just a short walk down to the beach and local shops. However, my stay was overshadowed by a bout of food poisoning I unfortunately got after eating at the hotel’s restaurant. It was really disappointing, especially given how great everything else about the hotel was. I believe it was the salmon gravlax which caused it, and it definitely affected my experience. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d still recommend it for the rooms, views, and atmosphere — just be cautious about dining at the hotel and maybe try some of the great local restaurants nearby instead. With some improvements to food safety and quality, this place could easily be a 5-star stay.

This hotel was picture perfect, it looked exactly like the pictures& the reviews published were spot on. The breakfast buffet was delicious& some hot items changed each day. The variety, service, and taste of breakfast is unlike anything you're Ever experienced. The swim up room was beautiful as well as the entire hotel. The service of cleaning our room was very slow& it wasn't cleaned most days, but it didn't take much away from our stay. The food in general that the hotel serves is delicious. Overall I give this hotel a 10 out of 10. It's also cheaper to book through Expedia

Nice hotel. Clean and nice location. Very helpful staff!! However, do not recommend the room service food nor the food at the breakfast (cost 599bath and little to chose from compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at).

Our stay at The SIS Kata Resort was excellent from start to finish. The hotel offers amazing ocean views, especially at sunset, and has a modern, relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. The staff provided great service and were always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Housekeeping was also top notch — the rooms were spotless every day and very well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options, including both local Thai dishes and international favorites. Overall, a beautiful hotel with incredible views, excellent service, outstanding housekeeping, and a splendid breakfast buffet. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket/Kata Beach.
