Ample parking, excellent staff

Property was overall nice I'd give it a 3.75 stars. Due to it being an older Hotel & Casino there are parts which can smell quite a bit like old cigarette smoke. (We expected this) Though this is more in the restaurant and casino area. So don't wear clothes you don't want to stink into the restaurant. The hotel room didn't smell like smoke but occasionally the hallways did. Hotel room was very clean and nice. However the "free breakfast" was a bit of a lie. It was a coupon to their restaurant but only for two people. We were traveling with our kids. Drinks were only free if it was "coffee, tea, or soda." So we ended up having to pay a lot more for breakfast than we would at a hotel with a true free breakfast. Albeit the food was good. Swimming pool is tiny and fairly clean. Hot tub was disgustingly dirty.

Rooms were a decent size and clean. Food was decent. Complimentary breakfast was great as you had a few options to choose from each day. Pool area was very small and could use at least two lounge chairs, only has one which is kinda useless for a pool area. Hotel is smoke free but the restaurant is next to Casino which is not. Constant smell of cigarette smoke in your face when you’re trying to enjoy your meal. Maybe a door should be added to the restaurant!

Spacious rooms, no resort fee, free parking, friendly staff. Not the nost glamorous location, but practical as it close to interstate 11.

Hot tub closed, pool was so small. The pictures are deceiving.

I did have 1 issue i booked this hotel since it had a pool for my kids. The pool was broken and looked like its been like that for a while from the way the sign looked like. Thats 1 big must for my family so was pretty upset bout that. Everything else was good and clean.

Nice room, but pool and hot tub were not working. The casino was so smokey that we couldn’t walk in. The pillows were not comfortable

Have stayed at this property before! Feels like home! Excellent restaurant and economical! Fitness Center was adequate. Staff was excellent also!

The staff were all very freindly and approachable and i was able to check in at 2 am with no problem. The gym at end of hallway was super nice and easy to park and breakfast at diner like restaurant was excellent

Great value for the price. They had a pretty decent fitness room compared to most hotels except both treadmills did not work properly. Luckily they had other options.

We stayed here for a week while visiting our son and his wife. Lovely little hotel nicely decorated. The lobby has nostalgic antiques and is very welcoming. Wide hallways with benches. The room was nicely done and spacious with a large clean updated bathroom and a seperate vanity where spouses can get ready while the bath is occupied. It has a refrigerator and coffee machine which is convenient. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a little hard for me. They offer a free breakfast which was very good with a nice variety with different egg and waffle options, but no fruit. Great hotel for the price! We'll definitely be back!

The room was noticeably dusty, and the AC clearly needed cleaning or a filter change. When I pulled out the filter, it was covered with a thick layer of dust. I have asthma, and the poor air quality in the room made it much worse—I was triggered the entire stay and wasn’t able to get proper sleep

I stayed at this property same time last year and the room I was given was excellent in terms of cleanliness and maintained well. The room this time was rather dirty, stains on the bedding, stains on the ceiling and much of the furniture was worn out.

This property is older but is impeccably clean and smells good. The beds were comfortable and a true queen size, not like other hotels that advertise queens, but they are really doubles. If you are looking for a nice pool this hotel is not for you, but if you just need a comfortable place to sleep for a reasonable price I would definitely recommend it!!

Dirty floors, window and bathroom

Wasnt as clean as I expected but decent. Its an older property and could use some updating, but decent for a quick weekend trip. Had what I needed- a place to get breakfast, a gym, fridge. Seen a giant dust bunny in the bathroom vent that was clearly seen from the shower. Toothpaste splatters on the wall by the sink

We had to move from the room we checked into because the sheets were dirty. We found the place overall to be dated and we were bothered by the cigarette smell coming from the casino.

The room reeked very much of marijuana, and the floor was sticky and dirty in the bathroom, and there was make up all over the top of the counter, and nightstand walls were very dusty and dirty We have stayed here before and never had any issues so we were very surprised at the condition of the room. Also, food left in the refrigerator from previous guest.

Only issue was that all four pillows were super hard. Had to sleep on a folded towel and my hoodie.

Room was very clean. Pillows were too firm and bulky - very uncomfortable.

Access to the restaurant is the same as the casino. We didn’t go to the casino but you had to walk by a person at the entrance smoking. As someone who struggles with cigarette smoke, not optimal. The real issue was the desk staff. We had an issue with the breakfast coupons (you only get 2 meals per room). So yes, it is included, but if yo I have more than 2 people you have to pay for more. Expedia doesn’t explain that. But the manager, Jamie was very rude. As I was trying to get extra coupons for the whole family, she was completely disengaged. She never even looked up at me to talk. She kept writing room numbers on some papers as if I didn’t matter. Completely unacceptable for a manager. Save the money and go somewhere you feel like a person and don’t have to walk by someone smoking to go to the restaurant.

Room was quite large and comfortable. Great shower. Would stay again.

Reasonable prices, easy location off freeway. Ample parking. Our air conditioner was very loud and we couldn’t sleep with it on. They have a decent restaurant on site.

Everything was Great except sleeping on pillows. They were so hard I had a neck ache in morning. Other than that all was Great

TV didnt work and front desk associate was unable to fix it completely. She was able to turn it on but we were unable to control the volume or turn it off unless we did it manually with the buttons behind the tv. The bathroom was handicapped accessible and showering was not a pleasant experience. Cafe food was good and very reasonably priced.

Stay was good with the exception of the road noisy. When choosing this hotel ask for the parking lot side.

wi-fi was very slow

When we checked in on March 19 at about 5 PM, the desk clerk was not at all friendly. I tried to get her to smile but she wasn’t having any of it. Maybe she was just having a bad day? This hotel is located along Boulder Highway in an industrial area. The biggest tip I can give anyone who might consider staying here is to ask for a room on the parking lot side of the building if you are a light sleeper. The highway noise is VERY LOUD when a big truck or motorcycle zooms by. And, like any highway, travel is consistent all night long. The parking lot side of the building is much, much quieter. Also, just like any casino hotel in the Vegas area, the smell of smoke is everywhere, even though the hotel has all non-smoking rooms. As most people know, cigarette smoke permeates anything and everything so you can smell it in the hallways of the hotel, but not in the rooms. The place looks like it has been recently updated and remodeled. It’s quite clean and everything looks to be in very good shape and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice large television. We ate in the restaurant twice for breakfast and once for dinner. Ham and egg special was $5.95 which was quite a bargain and the dinner special at the time was prime rib for $13.95 which was also a super good deal. We ordered cocktails, which were very reasonably priced. We were there on a Tuesday and Wednesday night, and they had live music in the casino bar area, which was pretty cool.

Not Family Friendly (or even friendly) We arrived after a long day of travel only to find that “free breakfast” noted on Expedia was only available for two people per room, not our whole family. (We did not have an ‘oversized’ party… three people in one room and four people in the other, all registered in our Expedia reservation. However, the front desk staff was dismissive and tried to argue that the manager had the Expedia site changed. When I shown her that the Expedia website noted “breakfast included” without any qualification or limitation, the staff said that they didn’t control Expedia and told us that we should feel very fortunate to get any breakfast at all since “most hotels don’t offer breakfast coupons.” In my travel experience and in my use of Expedia, I know that some hotels do and some do not. But I have never encountered a hotel that has Expedia note ‘free breakfast’ and 'breakfast included' that did not offer it to everyone in the room. At the end of the day, all I was really looking for was for the woman at the front desk to say, "You know, I see what you're saying. When I look at Expedia with you, I can certainly how you would have thought that. It is a little misleading. But, I'm really sorry--it is our policy and there really isn't anything that I'm authorized to do." Instead, I got, "You should feel lucky to get what you get." Oh, and the television was broken, with everything having a blue haze.

Front desk wasn’t friendly, didn’t greet you. Waitress and wait staff in restaurant are great. Regardless of how many people you have in your room, you will only receive a daily ticket for your stay for 2 people for free breakfast which is limited. Rooms were okay, however, walls were gross and dirty in some areas. Pool and lounge area is super small.

The staff was super nice and helpful. Our original room had some issues, but the staff was able to correct the issue right away and move us to a different room. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay! The free breakfast was very good as well! I would definitely stay here again next time we visit Las Vegas!

Very friendly and helpful staff

Rude staff from manager down. My room was upgraded to a ADA room next to the elevator and the shower sent a stream of water into the hall of my room. All staff interaction was bad. More interested in talking to each other or looking at the computer than taking care of customers. I did get my room moved aftwr i went tkk on thw desk for the 4th time regarding the water rolling in the hall of my room. I cleaned up the water before anybody came to help. Customer service is not their priority.

Love staying at Skyline every time we pass through! :) The room is always clean, spacious and the staff are more than happy to accommodate requests… with a smile on their face. :)

Front desk help she was there last year. Very unsociable and comes off rude. Spoke to the evening help desk two younger girls they were friendly and very helpful. Was told the morning gal the rude one is the manager. She needs help in customer service. Front entry smelled like skunk? Room was very dirty. Last year room comfortable and clean. This year completely different. Will not stay here next year

Really liked the hotel kinda in middle of nowhere or lots of road construction but the hotel itself super nice. Well kept. And very clean!

This is our new go to stop in Vegas. It's 15 minutes off the Strip, which we like. We're not party animals. The price is great for what is included. The breakfast is Great! It's in the restaurant and the choices are basic, but tasty. We jumped in the small pool and it was refreshing. We actually stayed here twice this week. Once on the way to LA and then on the way back home.

Great option out of the city

Restaurant was great! Terrific prices and great staff. Front desk staff were very stand off ish. Had to really struggle to get a hello or good morning out of them. Once engaged they were great.Property is very isolated… not much within walking distance so be prepared to rent a vehicle. The hotel room was very spacious and clean. Cleaning service staff were courteous and helpful.

Overall this was a great place to stay, outside the busy Las Vegas strip. You though need to be able to have a vehicle if you are staying here. There is nothing around, at the moment. It though is in a growing community so who knows what will be around in a few years time. I am though still waiting for my deposit to be returned to me. I would stay here again.

Likes: convenient - close to Boulder Hwy. Decent price. Clean. Friendly staff. Restaurant on site. Dislikes: wonky, lumpy bed, over-stuffed pillows, no coffee cups in the room. Room was extremely close to the road and super noisy!

We stayed at this property for one night. It has an attached casino, which we didnt go into. The hotel is pet friendly, which we loved, as we traveled with our 2 small dogs. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only drawback was that the hotel faces a very busy street and the street noise can be heard throughout the night. The area also looks to be unsafe with public buses on the street and a liquor store next door.

The only problem I have is the free breakfast is only for 2 people no mattyer how many people you book in the room. So, if you have 4 for example you would pay for 2 of the breakfast. They dont tell you that until you get there. This is our second time staying here and has been very nice.

We booked two rooms with four people per room and were told that the rooms included free breakfast. When we arrived they shifted and said that no, only one free breakfast per room despite the fact that the occupancy of the room was four. They then gave us “coupons” for their restaurant but only two coupons, good for a maximum of two meals. So now what we thought was an reasonably-priced room with free breakfast was turned into two free breakfasts, four slightly-discounted breakfasts at their overpriced restaurant, and two additional expensive breakfasts with no discount at all. We are travelling with a big group, and convenience and affordability are important to us. Additionally we inquired whether a slightly later check out would be possible due to the fact that we were travelling with six children. For context, we often make this request when we are on road trips, and without exception hotels have been very accomadating. The response, rather than “I’m sorry, that’s we don’t offer that option” or “that’s not our policy”, was instead “If you check out even one minute past 11am, you will be charged $20”. The response was terse and rude, and only served to reinforce the bad impression that we had already received. I do not know how this establishment has received “exceptional” ratings. We were extremely disappointed. We will not be back.

Great restaurant and casino. They gave us a real free breakfast and had a special on prime rib for $15.99. Room for clean, spacious and reasonable.
