Hotel is at an excellent location ! Service and attitude of staffs are also excellent. Major drawback is the smaller rooms and no proper view from the windows as the property is surrounded by buildings. Quality of food can be improved a bit. One of the best part is the outdoor seating option at its restaurant. An arm's throw from the Thamel market makes it convenient to stroll and shop at night

Unfortunately not a very good hotel. The air conditioner is blowing right in the bed, making it impossible to turn it on when you sleep. And when you turn the AC off there is no air left in the room. And unfortunately, it is not possible to open the window. So no ventilation in the room at all. When you shower the water from the shower goes into the bedroom. And you can smell mold in the room. The staff was however very friendly and tried to help us, but in the end, we had to change the hotel. And even if they were very nice, no offer to reduce the price for the one night that we spent. So I'm very sorry to say that I can not recommend this hotel.

For the 5 nights I stayed, only the first night I had hot water for shower. The remaining 4 nights, the shower water was COLD. Complained to front desk, said other rooms had the same problem and they'd fix it within the day, but the water just never became hot. Complained again, and nothing changed. The front desk people didn't offer anything (partial refund, etc.) as a gesture for apology. Having cold shower for 4 days in a roll was such a terrible experience especially when you were staying in a reputable hotel and the staff just weren't being helpful. Also shower water flooded onto bathroom floor easily due to cracks of door. Else was ok, but overall disappointed with the service and conditions. Location is great, safe and quiet, and walkable to Thamel.

Friendly check in, very quick staff. Room was clean and well stocked. Safe/ easy walking to shops and restaurants. Front desk helped arrange a taxi back to airport, and they arrived quickly. Appreciated bottled water in the room, along with coffee/tea. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was equally great. Location was great - a short walk to Thamel and out of ear shot from major traffic. Would definitely stay here again!

Dinner and breakfast was not good. Marriott has two properties in Nepal. Not mentioned that this is a Three star property during booking by Hotels.com. Nor they shown sign of differentiation and cause me to visit main Marriott and causing unnecessary delay and expenses for payment to cab.

NIce hotel in the Thamel area that is walking distance from most of the action. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the rooms are good. The restaurant is nice with good breakfast and dinner options. Overall, a good experience.

Dinner buffet was excellent. Breakfast was also good. Room layout was perfect and nice bathroom. All staff went above and beyond. This hotel deserves more stars.

I neeed a good night sleep after roughing it out in the neighbourhood near monkey temple. I could not get a proper rest due to noise. The hotel offered me a santuary, really quiet and peace, away from the bussle of the city, yet close to Thamel and Durbar Square. Highly recommended. But the breakfast spread can be better though...

Excellent hotel in a very nice neighborhood. I stayed on the 7th floor with a good view of Katmandú. The room was clean, good size, comfortable bed, and quiet. Very good breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I have nothing negative to say about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone.

During my stay, my wallet went missing from my hotel room. I had left it on the desk because shops were closed on polling day. When I returned to my room later that day, the wallet was no longer there. CCTV footage confirmed that I had taken my wallet into the room the previous night. This means it disappeared while it was outside the room. When I reported the issue, the manager (LP) said he was “not able to help” and refused to provide records showing who had entered my room while I was out. I also had to ask the reception five times before I was finally able to speak with him, as he was not present at the hotel during working hours. As a result, I lost $100 in cash and two important credit cards. Unfortunately, the hotel management did not offer any assistance, explanation, or gesture of goodwill to help ease the stress caused by this situation. I was very disappointed with how this matter was handled and expected a more responsible and supportive response from the hotel management.
