FERGUS Cactus Garden

The Fergus Cactus Garden is in an ideal location, just slightly up the hill and away from the busy main road. The reception is beside a pool and seating area and close to the restaurant. The lifts are easy to use and move rapidly and the floors are nicely laid out being slightly staggered and some face sundeck areas with jacuzzis (not very warm). Floor nine also has a naturist sundeck. The internal of the hotel is basic in design and appearance but the rooms are spacious with adequate sized bathroom, sleeping area with tv that includes a few regular UK channels and a separate area containing a settee and table. Other features include balcony with furniture, fridge and free, easy to operate digital safe. My room on the seventh floor had a noticeable stench of drains throughout my stay, a fellow traveller staying one floor below and on the opposite side of the building did not have this issue. The breakfasts served were of average standard but the evening buffet was wonderful, and the price included limitless wines, beers and soft drinks.

La estancia ha estado genjal. El hotel muy correcto y bastante modernizado. La habitación que nos tocó era amplia, contaba con un recibidor con sofa y todo, y también teníamos un balconcito. El buffet variado y muy correcto. Como dos pegas solo diría que la piscina es bastante pequeña para toda la gente que algerga el hotel, y que debido el aire por la noche se escuchaba mucho el aire y parecía que algo filtraba por la puerta del balcón, ya que hacía ruidos algo molestos. Aún así, un hotel de 10, con buen ambiente alrededory facilidad para aparcar el coche. Si volvemos a la isla repetiremos sin dudarlo.

Malgré les efforts de l’hôtesse d’accueil, la chambre Sante fortement le chlore, peut-être pour masquer des odeurs nauséabondes. Le balcon donnait sur une décharge et des containers. Nous avons demandé à annuler la réservation mais cela était impossible auprès de l’hôtel. Quant au Europa, industriel, sans saveur, l’eau est payante. Nous n’avons trouvé aucun point positif sur cet hôtel. Nous sommes partis du coup, nous sommes partis de l’hôtel sans avoir dormi sur place. Je peux rajouter aussi que le jacuzzi du dernier étage et le solarium était fermé. Il est resté juste une piscine toute petite insuffisant par rapport au nombre de personnes de l’hôtel , à l’entrée de l’hôtel, les poubelles des bordes bordure, rien de bon dans cet hôtel. Nous allons faire des démarches auprès du site Hotels.com pour demander un remboursement partiel au total du séjour que nous n’avons pas pu effectuer.

No AC available and no fans were available either when we requested for help. Not even to rent (we would have paid!). My daughter couldn't sleep due to the heat (early august) and my husband took her place so that she could sleep but then he couldn't sleep either due to the heat (despite we left the balcony door wide open, there was zero breeze coming in)...the reception lady didn't seem to care or apologize about it. Overall chaos everywhere due to so many people on narrow corridors. Two small elevators that always had cue of many people waiting for their turn (max capacity 4 people). Breakfast was ok but hard to find a table to use, again due to so many people. When we arrived to check-in, the pool was just closed because someone had pooped in it. Good location near the stores, restaurants and the beach. If you go with family and take a room with two bedrooms (bed sofa and master bedroom) be prepared to the fact that the room with the sofa bed will have no AC, the ceiling fan is more ornament and doesn't provide any breeze. The rooms are fresh and i guess that if you only travel alone or in a couple and are looking for a budget hotel and will only sleep in the master bedroom, this might work. If you are looking to relax, you can forget about staying at this place. This place doesn't deserve the 4 stars. More like 2 or 3.

Eravamo già stati al Cactus Garden quando però era Lemon. Ora che è Fergus devonl ammettere che c'è stato qualche miglioramento. In particolare ho apprezzato che al ristorante venisse sempre rifornito il cibo (cosa che in precddenza scarseggiava). Un plauso allo chef italiano Lorenzo, tutte le volte che c'era lui il buffet presentava pietanze dal sapore equilibrato e buone oltre alla sua educazione e simpatia! Il personale di sala da incrementare specie con maggiore afflusso visto che negli ultimi giorni del soggiorno non trovavamo mai bicchieri o piatti o i tavoli restavano con stoviglie sporche ammucchiate. Alla reception siamo stati accolti da una connazionale educata, simpatica cle sorridente! La struttura è sempre al top come posizione (mare raggiungibile a piedi in pochissimo tempo). Stanza sempre pulita (grazie anche alla donna delle pulizie e Rosy), letti comodi e poi una vista meravigliosa del faro. Due jacuzzi riscaldate, di cui quella sul terrazzo però in area per nudisti. Nel soggiorno è compresa una ora di spa, simpatica e gentile la ragazza alla reception, anche se l'acqua della piscina era gelida. Ecco migliorerei questo aspetto. Facilità di parcheggio. Mia recensione è super positiva. Consigliato soggiornare qui

Alles andere sind keine 4 Sterne wert. Am Hotel angekommen, merkt man das Parkplätze mangelware sind, außer man parkt auf einem Schotterplatz wobei man schnell das Mietauto beschädigen könnte. Weiter gehts zu den Aufzügen. Im Hotel gibt es zwei kleine Aufzüge wo max. 4 Personen reinpassen. Jedesmal bedeutet das bei der Hotelgröße lange warten oder laufen. Das Essen ist schlechter als Kantinenessen. Wenig Auswahl, essen oft kalt, Angestellter maßlos überfordert. Wenn man später zum essen kommt, findet man nur leere Auslagen vor. Tische werden nicht neu eingedeckt, da zu wenig Personal vor Ort ist. Wenn man Halbpension gebucht hat und auf die Getränke warten muss, da die Kellner es nicht schaffen, wartet man auch mal über 30 min. Zimmer wird nicht richtig gereinigt. Ecken dreckig, Balkon wurde nicht richtig gesäubert. Rooftopbar über den gesamten Urlaub geschlossen. Es wirkt als ob hier das Management mal selbst Urlaub machen müsste, um die Misstände zu sehen. Zusammegfasst, Zimmer sind okay, alles weitere keine 4 Sterne wert.

Preis/Leistung hat mich überzeugt. Schöne geräumige Zimmer, moderne Einrichtung. Der Pool ist leider nicht so groß, dafür hat man eine tolle Dachterasse mit Whirlpool.

Die Zimmer waren ok für Badeurlaub am beste war der spa und die Massage im Hotel.

Gute Lage, durchschnittlich bis gutes Essen, grosse Zimmer mit permanentem Klogeruch und nicht wirklich abachaltbarer Klomaanlage, Poolsauberkeit nicht besonders, deswegen auch wenig genutzt, tolle Cocktails auf ser Rooftopbar nit einem absolut genialem Barkeeper

Disappointing Stay Despite Good Location and Friendly Staff While the hotel is in a great location and the staff were friendly and tried to help, the overall experience was disappointing due to several major issues that cannot be overlooked. Our first room had a horrendous smell, and we had to request a change. The second room was only marginally better. Shockingly, the receptionist admitted, "Yeah, I know, the rooms on that floor really stink," indicating that this is a known problem the hotel has chosen to ignore. Room cleanliness was also subpar—dust was visibly falling from the ventilation, a previous guest's razor cap was left on top of the soap dispenser, and the corners of the shower bed were filthy. The silicone work in the bathroom was so poorly done that it looked like a DIY gone wrong. The breakfast selection was extremely limited, and the food quality was poor. The coffee machines only produced instant coffee, which was a disappointment. On our first morning, we noticed broken glass on the floor, and when we informed the staff, they simply kicked it under another table! To make matters worse, the plates were dirty, and when we pointed this out, the staff silently took them away without offering replacements or an apology. After that experience, we opted to eat at a local coffee shop for the rest of our stay, even though we had already paid for breakfast at the hotel.

Check-in lento, personale alla reception poco disponibile e sgarbato, inspiegabile rigidità degli orari della colazione del ristorante solo nei confronti del cliente. Odore di fogna in camera e all' esterno nel terrazzo. Scarsa pulizia del ristorante e cibi di qualità e varietà scarsissima

Debe mejorarse la limpieza. El baño tenia las juntas de azulejos sucias con machas de moho, también se encontraba sucia la cortina en su parte baja. Mas esmero en la limpieza del suelo de la habitación

Clean and tidy hotel. Air con in rooms pretty much none existent. Food average. The ‘chefs’ live cooking (omelettes in the am, meat and fish later) appear inconvenienced and rude (although all other staff extremely friendly). Not enough staff in restaurant so plates piled up on peoples tables. Having been served undercooked and raw chicken, and also undercooked sausage we ate out for the rest of our holiday. €2 charge to change towels. All Inclusive stops at 11am on final day. May have been 4* in the past but a 3 at best now.

La asignacion de habitaciones es un poco engañosa. Nos metieron en un bajo habiendo hasta el 3 piso dentro de la categoria contratada

Nice rooms but very cold due to large gaps around the door to room and air-conditioning unit not heating properly. Food was a big disappointment.

It’s a shame I was bedridden for most of my stay due to having a sickness bug ( contracted before arrived ) The hotel was clean and quite - staff where helpful- albeit I kept to my room - would definitely try again

Struttura centrale, vicino alla spiaggia e a negozi e ristoranti e bar; personale cortese. Camera su due livelli con un eccessivo odore di muffa, bagno senza aspiratore; su Expedia erano indicati 3 letti da 1 piazza e mezzo, di cui uno era un divano letto; struttura che necessità di ristrutturazione; colazione abbondante e varia, ma migliorabile nella qualità dei prodotti.

Albergo molto ben curato, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Vicino al centro e alle spiagge più belle di Morro Jable. Un soggiorno veramente piacevole

Disappointing Stay Despite Good Location and Friendly Staff While the hotel is in a great location and the staff were friendly and tried to help, the overall experience was disappointing due to several major issues that cannot be overlooked. Our first room had a horrendous smell, and we had to request a change. The second room was only marginally better. Shockingly, the receptionist admitted, "Yeah, I know, the rooms on that floor really stink," indicating that this is a known problem the hotel has chosen to ignore. Room cleanliness was also subpar—dust was visibly falling from the ventilation, a previous guest's razor cap was left on top of the soap dispenser, and the corners of the shower bed were filthy. The silicone work in the bathroom was so poorly done that it looked like a DIY gone wrong. The breakfast selection was extremely limited, and the food quality was poor. The coffee machines only produced instant coffee, which was a disappointment. On our first morning, we noticed broken glass on the floor, and when we informed the staff, they simply kicked it under another table! To make matters worse, the plates were dirty, and when we pointed this out, the staff silently took them away without offering replacements or an apology. After that experience, we opted to eat at a local coffee shop for the rest of our stay, even though we had already paid for breakfast at the hotel.

Food was only moderate

Eine Unterkunft welche sehr gut gelegen ist im Touristenzentrum von Moro Jable. Zum Hotel: Positiv war das Zimmer, modern und gut eingichtet. Das Wlan hat immer funktioniert. Alles andere sind keine 4 Sterne wert. Am Hotel angekommen, merkt man das Parkplätze mangelware sind, außer man parkt auf einem Schotterplatz wobei man schnell das Mietauto beschädigen könnte. Weiter gehts zu den Aufzügen. Im Hotel gibt es zwei kleine Aufzüge wo max. 4 Personen reinpassen. Jedesmal bedeutet das bei der Hotelgröße lange warten oder laufen. Das Essen ist schlechter als Kantinenessen. Wenig Auswahl, essen oft kalt, Angestellter maßlos überfordert. Wenn man später zum essen kommt, findet man nur leere Auslagen vor. Tische werden nicht neu eingedeckt, da zu wenig Personal vor Ort ist. Wenn man Halbpension gebucht hat und auf die Getränke warten muss, da die Kellner es nicht schaffen, wartet man auch mal über 30 min. Zimmer wird nicht richtig gereinigt. Ecken dreckig, Balkon wurde nicht richtig gesäubert. Rooftopbar über den gesamten Urlaub geschlossen. Es wirkt als ob hier das Management mal selbst Urlaub machen müsste, um die Misstände zu sehen. Zusammegfasst, Zimmer sind okay, alles weitere keine 4 Sterne wert.
