This is an older property and has been upgraded to some extent. Everything was clean and in working order. Microwave and fridge were great. Needs a small table by sofa to put drinks on. We had two comfortable bedrooms and living area with a big tv which was great to watch the hockey. The price was fantastic, great value for money.

This place was a great little find. I was on the second floor of the one building. Would have preferred the drive up door in the back building but it was good regardless. Clean, everything worked. No problem. Would stay again.

Very nice staff. Old property that needs some upgrading. But quite comfortable and clean. Hair dryer didn’t work and wifi hard to connect but it did eventually. Considering the price compared to most other hotels which were more expensive it was ok. Liked having 2 bedrooms.

This property was in Hinton. It was a bit of a drive into Jasper national Park. But Hinton was a nice town. We found lots of places to eat in Hinton. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very nice. It was a bit dated but very comfortable and it had good amenities as I recall such as a coffee machine, Refrigerator nice TV, etc.. I would stay here again.

I felt welcomed and comfortable. I appreciated the air conditioning and the ability to adjust the fan and temperature when it was too cool. I also appreciated the fridge with a little freezer to refreeze my freezer packs.

Nice for a quick stay. Said it had a kitchen but it is not available in the summer. Room was okay, definitely needs updating. BUT… while we we were gone for the day they restocked the towels and coffee :) without being asked. It was very nice to have clean towels to come back to after hiking all day. The shower was absolutely amazing!!! Rainfall showerhead, I can’t remember the last time I took such a long shower!!! And they did email me during our stay to check if there was anything we needed. Very friendly. Would actually stay again.

I think we were given the worst room, #101. As soon as we walked up to the room we were not impressed. Big trucks parked in front of the room, dirty old lawn chairs also by each door. The grounds had weeds alone the building. The room was dirty, bathroom had someones dirty clothes hanging behind the door. Walls were dirty, old dirty lampshades. I went back to the office and told him that we could not stay in this room and decided to just go home. Waiting to see if I'll get my money back. On Expedia the rating for this place is a 9.2, it is much closer to a 4....

The hotel wasn’t worth the 450 dollars we paid. The room wasn’t Cleaned . It had a musky smell . The bed was uncomfortable. It even had Pubic hairs on the sheets . Luckily I bought a sheet from home . It wasn’t nice place at all .

The Pines Motel is a basic, lower class motel. Although a microwave was included, no cutlery or plates were provided. I asked for some & was given paper plates & plastic cutlery. The coffee machine & the heater did not work, but the bed was comfortable.

Staff at front desk was super friendly and gave us great recommendations for places to eat. We had a two bedroom “apartment” for our stay, rooms were clean and tidy. A tad outdated in the bedrooms, they could use a bit of life put into the rooms and maybe an extra blanket in the wardrobe area. Bathroom seemed new and had a wonderful shower with great hot water and water pressure. I would stay again if passing through Hinton.

We were totally surprised by the condition of the accommodations. At first glance we were a little skeptical but the room was well furnished, well maintained, and appeared to have been renovated. It was also quiet, despite being near the main highway and the railroad. The manager was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations.

The price was much better than most around the Jasper/Banff National Parks. The outside of the property was not impressive which made me wonder about the inside. However, I was pleasantly surprised walking in to find a remodel with appropriate lighting and nice furnishings. We had a good night’s sleep and ready to go for the next day. The managers of the property were so helpful with excellent recommendations for dinner and activities.

Was great, very nice inside and very friendly staff. Toilet was a bit close to the counter/toilet paper for a larger person, and toilet a bit lower, which could be a pro or con or indifferent depending on the person. But plenty of space, lovely armoire with tv and fridge inside, nice clothes hanging space and couch. Great value.

The staff at the hotel were exceptional. Our rental car broke down and we were stranded for 6 hours. The staff were wonderful looking after us during a tough day. Very clean rooms. I highly recommend this motel.

Dated but clean. Front desk guy is incredible. My mom was worried because she hadn’t heard from me. We were out hiking and had no service. She called the hotel and he tracked me down and called her back.

Paid for a room for the night and arrived and were told they didn’t have a room and that there was a mistake, where we then left to find another hotel late at night. Then while we were driving they texted us to come back and that they were going to give us an upgraded room. We then came back and were given an “upgraded” room where the upgrade was just two rooms with two beds, and the beds were twin beds and we had paid for a queen and didn’t need two beds. Be careful as they seem to overbook their rooms and the showers cold water didn’t work so the water was super hot. Other then that the rooms were pretty clean and were pretty quiet.

We arrived and realized I booked the room for 2 night not 1, The young man was so understanding and called Expedia to cancel the 2nd day. Not too many would do this and I was very appreciative. I would definitely stay again if I travel this way in the future 😊😊😊

Seriously one of the best motels we’ve stayed in both in the US and Canada. Wonderful customer service! We were skeptical at first because it’s hard to believe reviews you see. But, this motel exceeded our expectations! You will not be disappointed! Very pleasant and peaceful accommodation!

This was a nice stop during our holiday. Staff was welcoming upon check-in. The room was clean and spacious. Even though the motel is close to the highway, it was very quiet at night. We walked to the restaurants and shopping across the street. We had a pleasant stay.

This property was in Hinton. It was a bit of a drive into Jasper national Park. But Hinton was a nice town. We found lots of places to eat in Hinton. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very nice. It was a bit dated but very comfortable and it had good amenities as I recall such as a coffee machine, Refrigerator nice TV, etc.. I would stay here again.

Very nice, clean and good location. A special shout-out to the attendant, who helped with good tips on where to eat, what to see and other local recommendations. Top tier service! Would definitely stay here again if in the neighborhood.

The room was okay with newer carpets, TV, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. However, the bed given was a double or a full one, not a queen. Also noticed a water leak between the tub and the commode. Not sure its from the commode or the tub.

A very old property that badly needs maintenance. The shower stall was very small and had holes in the wall. It was difficult to turn the water off. The outside needs painting. The location is good and offers convenience.
