Everything was about as good as you can get for the price i paid. They were average on cleanliness. No issues with anything beside the wifi was very poor and the cable box wasnt working for me. So, if you just want a cheap place to stay, this is your place. If you want ammenities like good wifi and a workable tv for your down time, i would suggest somewhere else.

I was disappointed at how run-down the room was compared to the perceived modernity they portrayed in their online photos. The laminated floor in the room was warped and chipped throughout. There was a dresser drawer missing. Lamp shades were dated and dusty, one with a burnt bulb. There was a TV bracket on the wall for a tv that wasn‘t there; they replaced it with a small one on the dresser. No coffee maker, in-room phone or battery in the smoke alarm. Very dated restroom with a door that was falling apart and stapled together. I‘ve never seen a hotel or motel that was run on such a tight buget with such little attention to detail. I don‘t know if this was a one-off at this facility, but I would have rather spent $200 at Days Inn or Super 8 instead of the $175 here. Higher prices should equal higher standards.

I called to cancel the reservation upon pulling into the property when I was told that you could not park on property as they were black topping the parking lot. I was told to park across the road at the comfort in! heavy fumes from black topping is not safe for someone with asthma to breath. they should not have been taking online reservations knowing they were doing this and that you COULD NOT park at their facility. Everything was dirty and crusted with dust. The room smelled horrible!! The fridge and microwave smelled. There were bugs. The bed appeared clean and that’s really what I needed. But it would have been nice to have coffee when I woke up but even the packets of coffee were old and dirty. Do NOT take kids here. AND when I checked out they wouldn’t give me a receipt! Very sketchy to me. I’ll be checking my credit card as soon as I get home.

I booked this for a relative based on the photos and description. It is on me for not reading the reviews. This place should be condemned according to my son in law. It was dirty, it was not what as pictured, it’s a MOTEL not a hotel. The room had not been cleaned, the tv didn’t work, the bathroom was dirty. The door had a huge gap at the bottom and side. DO NOT stay here. If I would have known I would have told him to go to a different hotel.

The room doesn't look as clean, bright, and updated as in the photo. The are several row one-level rooms next to the highway. The only update is the floor. All the furniture, the refrigerator, and the doors (and someone has kicked a hole in the door) show the ages. The toilet leaked. I didn't bother to try the shower.

This place should be condemned. If you read nothing else, keep that in mind. The floors were dirty and were literally sinking in the middle of the room (203). The toilet ran periodically throughout the night. Overall the condition was very poor. The front door when locked still can be pushed tighter to close because of the large gap of missing weather stripping. You can see light coming in all around the closed door. The old A/C unit air filter was caked in dirt, the room hadn't been dusted or cleaned for lord knows how long, the bed was on a wood box platform and I tended to hit my toes on it constantly. And I know there's a no-smoking policy, but the room stank of smoking from years past. You need more than one coat of paint on the walls (with an odor blocker) to cover up the stink. And the furniture... did they pull these out of a dumpster? Seriously. Put them in the trash. They're junk! The bed...omg it's nothing more than thinly wrapped springs. The owners should be ASHAMED of the condition of the entire place. Even the stone column outside the front office is crumbling away. It's just a horrible place. I didn't even bother to shower and couldn't wait to get out of there!

We were in town for the Harley 120th and The Foo Fighters concert, and this was the closest "hotel" that we could find without pay $1000.00. We paid $175.00 total for a room that was probably worth $50.00 on a good day. The air conditioner didn't work (it was July 15th), the TV didn't work, there was a sheet missing on the bed and it's just an old motel. It literally only served the purpose of not having to sleep in the car. The staff was pleasant, but everyone kept saying that their hands were tied... no more rooms... nothing they could do. I did mention all of this to the staff and was told that I had to complain to the place that I booked it (Hotels.com) and they would contact them and back and forth. So here I am, doing a review that I had no intention of doing had they just made it right. My advice. Don't stay there. Ever.

Purchased a room and was told that we didn't have a room and they were at full capacity. Never again. Guy didn't even care either it's just my money not there's.

They illegally kicked us out and entered our room when we were at work. We paid for the day and they said that they didn’t know or have record even though I had the confirmation that it went through through Expedia they didn’t even try to contact us before they went in the room to ask us if we had or will pay for the room. After they entered the room, they contacted my boyfriend at 11:18 on 18 minutes after checkout they stated as if we were targeted they stated that we had to leave when we got off of work due to the condition of the room is a short video I have the video showing how we left the room and it is cleaner than when we arrived that’s for sure. Now we paid for a night and we have nowhere to go all because the receptionist don’t like me or has something against me. She was very rude on a few occasions when I had to deal with her. She wouldn’t even give me a room key or access to anything even though the Expedia account was in my name, and I could prove that to her.

All in all it was a very good stay at the property. I thank the staff for transferring me to another room when the room they originally had me in was not clean and I thank them for that. I did have a quiet stay otherwise.

I called to cancel the reservation upon pulling into the property when I was told that you could not park on property as they were black topping the parking lot. I was told to park across the road at the comfort in! heavy fumes from black topping is not safe for someone with asthma to breath. they should not have been taking online reservations knowing they were doing this and that you COULD NOT park at their facility. I requested a cancellation and refund. it was unacceptable! ended up staying at comfort in

Stayed here as a solo traveler for one night. The area was safe and quiet. There were several options for eating. The check in/out process was easy convenient. Staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean, everything in working order, and the bed was comfortable. Plus the room had a nice, fresh scent and didn’t smell like cleaning products. Loved it!

Was not a clean propety at all. Was so sketchy surprised no one broke in. Shower gets super hot when other water is ran. Very low end motel.

They don't tell you on the website that this motel is actually a long-term motel, and any rooms not rented as long-term are then rented out nightly. The room next door had patio chairs and a grill right out front, as well as many others. So naturally there was partying well into the evening, transient people everywhere, and things just looked dirty. The room itself was quite dated, and the furniture was old. The A/C ran at one temp, but did keep the room fairly cool. The beds were ok, but the best thing about the stay was the water pressure in the shower. It was actually good, better than most motels. I would NEVER suggest to anyone to stay here!

Everything was dirty and crusted with dust. The room smelled horrible!! The fridge and microwave smelled. There were bugs. The bed appeared clean and that’s really what I needed. But it would have been nice to have coffee when I woke up but even the packets of coffee were old and dirty. Do NOT take kids here. AND when I checked out they wouldn’t give me a receipt! Very sketchy to me. I’ll be checking my credit card as soon as I get home.

I was disappointed at how run-down the room was compared to the perceived modernity they portrayed in their online photos. The laminated floor in the room was warped and chipped throughout. There was a dresser drawer missing. Lamp shades were dated and dusty, one with a burnt bulb. There was a TV bracket on the wall for a tv that wasn‘t there; they replaced it with a small one on the dresser. No coffee maker, in-room phone or battery in the smoke alarm. Very dated restroom with a door that was falling apart and stapled together. I‘ve never seen a hotel or motel that was run on such a tight buget with such little attention to detail. I don‘t know if this was a one-off at this facility, but I would have rather spent $200 at Days Inn or Super 8 instead of the $175 here. Higher prices should equal higher standards.

We arrived early and we're shown the room that would be ours when cleaned. Most of the rooms were occupied by transient residence. Even with cleaning our room wouldnt be acceptable. We were denied a refund . I wouldn't even let my dog stay there. Very scary.this hotel shouldn't be even concidered as a safe place to stay.

Comfortable beds, hot shower. If you need a place to crash, this is a basic, affordable option. Ive stayed here a few times as a place to sleep because I have a weekend job in Kenosha. Floors can be uneven, TV might not work, and other small things that might be inconvenient, but its clean and comfortable.

This was by far the worst place we have ever stayed overnight. Drove past property twice not believing it was the place that we booked on Hotels.com-a business that we had put our trust in to refer safe and quality lodging. To be fair, the check in was easy, staff was pleasant, sheets were clean, and the air conditioning in room was fantastic. The room was disappointing. It “resembled” the photo online at booking if you squinted very hard. The sheets did not fit the bed correctly, revealing a questionable mattress. The room had a strange smell which I can only assume was coming from the rotting bathroom floor. The floor under the toilet was weak, resulting in the toilet being slightly “mobile” and tilted to one side. It was too late to cancel when we arrived so we reluctantly stayed. We saw no bugs or creatures. I would highly recommend spending 40.00 more and staying across the street at a different establishment. Any of them. As the gas station attendant down the road from the motel said to me in conversation “You have nerves of steel to live in Chicago”. I told her that I was spending the night at the Value Inn. “You do have nerves of steel. Good luck.” All kidding aside, the Value Inn was a cheap option, but buyer beware-you do get what you pay for.

Make sure to check in before 11pm. It’s not obvious that they don’t have 24 hour staff. Couldn’t even stay at the room. The place honestly did not appear to be well kept either.
