We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the harbour, the ferry point and numerous shops, bars and cafes. The hotel is clean and beautiful, small but with everything needed for a pleasant stay, including a water cooler on every floor. The room was great and the AC worked flawlessly in the 40 degree heat. The staff are helpful and very friendly. The breakfast is wonderful and the pool at the top offers amazing view of the neighbourhood. The steps and the narrow street add charmingly to the character of the place. It’s a real gem at the heart of Cospicua. We would definitely choose it again if we are to visit Malta in thr future.

Fantastiskt trevlig personal på ett trevligt hotell! Ett gammalt maltesiskt hus med många trappor som var väldigt fint inrett! Kallt vatten att fylla sina flaskor med i trapphusen. Liten pool på taket och en solterass med några solsängar och loungemöbler en trappa ner. God frukost med möjlighet att beställa omelett mm av den trevliga personalen.

We stayed as a family group, 5 people in total for a week-long stay. We can only describe our stay as exceptional and highly recommend the property to other travellers. Maureen the manager went above and beyond to assist us and provided an outstanding level of service. Prior to our stay she answered numerous questions about the property and the locale, always prompt on replying to emails, as well as assisting us in booking airport transfers to and from the property. In addition, our transfer driver, Mr Petrovic was punctual, friendly and helpful. Maureen was caring, courteous and delivered a level of service far beyond our expectations. We give high praise for all the staff associated with this property. Andes, who managed the kitchen and the breakfast service was a delightful person. He always greeted us with a smile, was polite, considerate and cooked the most delicious breakfast for us each morning. Nothing was too much trouble! The property was exceptionally clean, housekeeping done to a high standard, with water coolers available on each floor. Every area of the hotel was clean and tidy - a credit to the housekeeping team. The pool and the undercover lounge area was a great way to relax after a busy day. We highly recommend this charming property and the outstanding staff that made our stay so memorable. We would definitely stay there again!!

Arrived at the hotel after hours but that was no problem. We had been sent the key code to enter & our key was left in an envelope with all the room details inside. Very efficient. Room was larger than expected & spotlessly clean. Only complaint was the shower didn't maintain hot water for all of the time. Lovely, secluded location near all the restaurants & the ferry landing to Valletta. Buffet breakfast was exceptional & the 2 staff we met were super friendly & helpful. We could leave our cases in reception til check-out time & there were shower facilities before leaving. Excellent all round!

Had a lovely few days at Casa Birmula, it was ideally situated for exploring the three cities and Valletta. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were fab. The room was lovely and traditionally Maltese. Would definitely come back to this hotel. A special thankyou to Maureen for all help and to the lovely young man that cooked our breakfasts.
