Loved the roof top swimming pool. Very quirky hotel, beautiful stairwell. Spacious bedroom. Disappointing breakfast area, no natural light). Shame it couldn't be incorporated on the terrace area on the top floor.

Hôtel raffiné avec piscine sur roof top. Chambre au top.Personnels présents très souriants et professionnels. Petits dejeuners copieux et variés. Très bien situé dans les 3 cités face à la valette qu on rejoint par navette bateau à Birgu. Parking area JF and band b gratuit 5 min à pied.

Très bon hôtel. Personnel au petit soin. Ferry juste en phase pour La Valette ainsi qu'un arrêt de bus tout proche. Seul bémol mosaïque piscine en mauvais état. A voir pour la réparer.

Ottima struttura. Situata a Cospicua consente facilmente di raggiungere La Valletta tramite il Ferry che si trova a poche decine di metri dal hotel. Servizio preciso, puntuale, cortetese. Colazione internazionale (poco dolce) ma molta frutta. In camera macchina per il caffè / cioccolato / te sempre rifornito. Una bottiglia d'acqua in camera e frigo a disposizione per conservare freschi liquidi e cibi. Vista la presenza del roof e piscina (piccola ma utile) vengono forniti accappatoio, ciabatte e asciugamano. Sono presenti in camera inoltre ferro da stiro, tavola da stiro e asciugacapelli. Struttura molto caratteristica e ragionevolmente adattata ad hotel. La consiglierei.

The property is situated on the waterfront in Cospicua! Stunning location! The hotel itself is a stunning guesthouse, beautifully restored! The room was spacious with a balcony! Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly, professional, attentive and approachable! Great service! In general the property is based close to shops, bars restaurants and other amenities! A boat station is located 2 min walk from the hotel and you can take a direct boat to Valetta for only €2 each way. The hotel has a rooftop pool, however beaches are not a long drive away. The hotel advertises free parking. It’s worth mentioning that there is no parking lot assigned to the hotel and parking is on streets around the hotel, space permitted. Sometimes we could park opposite the hotel and sometimes up to 5 min walk away in a parking lot (turn right from the hotel on to the main street and drive up the hill, passed the church on the right, opposite a fortress / war museum). In general we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel again!

We loved our stay at this fantastic hotel. It had so much to offer.. perfect location, lovely staff, amazing breakfast, gorgeous rooftop terrace and relaxing pool. If we’re ever in Malta again, we will be heading back here.

Lovely boutique hotel- great staff and friendly service. Great location in Three Cities- beautiful places to eat nearby next to boats and water Much quieter than Valletta - but €2 ferry which is close by too, is quick journey across. This hotel has little pool on rooftop to cool off with amazing views across Marina and Harbour Loved staying here. We were in little city room which was great value. but bigger rooms available. Overall property has beautiful interior design. Very happy customer.

Lovely boutique hotel. Small, but very tastefully furnished and interesting property. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast included. Great to have use of the roof top pool. Although pool was small it was great to cool off in the heat . Also area for sitting and sun loungers. Great location. 5 minute walk to ferry to Valetta. Also plenty of good restaurants nearby. We stayed in the Mdina room. It was fine but a bit small and dark. Would definitely stay there again but would pay a bit more for a larger room.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great area. Near to local ferry in valleta and bus service too. Plenty of restaurants near by and a great base to explore the island from. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and great variety.

Das Zimmer ("Gozo") hat kein Fenster! Die Decke ist schimmlig und so riecht es auch im Zimmer. Das Internet (Wifi) hat in diesem Zimmer auch nicht funktioniert. Einzige Lüftungsmöglichkeit: Balkontür in die Innenlobby(!) des Hotels. Dort spielte aber in Endlosschleife, also auch die ganze Nacht hindurch(!), laute Musik.

The location here is perfect for exploring cospicua and Vittoriosa, and it is not far from the ferry to valletta. The staff were extremely helpful, and although we arrived early they put our things in the room and even put my food in the fridge. They also accommodated us by letting us have breakfast early so that we could catch our ferry on time the next morning. The room was very small and did not have an external window. It did feel a bit damp at times but it seems hard to avoid in Malta. The bathroom was small but worked ok. Sad that we did not get to check out the terrace as I have read it is really nice.

Abbbiamo trascorso tre notti in questa stuttura, location molto bella e curata, pulizia impeccabile, come tutto il personale. Buona scelta di camere per dimensioni prezzi. Molto buona la colazione con uova preparate in vari modi al momento. Situata a pochi metri dal mare di Cospicua e comodissima sia per i traghetti per Valletta che per i trasporti pubblici. In pochi minuti, anche a piedi, si raggiungono ristoranti, luoghi di interesse e di svago. Se dovessimo tornare Malta di sicuro sceglieremmo ancora Casa Birmula.

It is a typical maltese property that surprises you with its size of rooms, very handily placed for the ferry to valletta and restaurants around the 3 cities.The staff are very friendly and very helpful.

Beautiful hotel. Great breakfast, pool, and service. Unfortunately our room was very noisy - blasting bass music from the house next door or street. We couldn’t tell where the noise was coming from but it wasn’t a peaceful experience.

Hotel muy bonito. Desayuno excelente, personal muy amable. Como parte negativa la ducha resbalaba y el colchón para nuestro gusto era muy blando y la habitación sin balcón y pequeña.

Very beautiful and unique property. Excellent and tasteful decor. Breakfast and sweet staff were wonderful. So cute. Rooftop is spectacular. Bedroom a little small and bed a little soft but otherwise absolutely perfect. Location can’t be beat. Very pleased.

We loved our stay at Casa Birmula. The hotel is gorgeous and we loved the rooftop pool - even better than expected and it made our trip! The ferry over to Valletta is only a 5 minute walk away and the ferry only takes 10 minutes - it was perfect. We loved staying slightly away from main centre as it was quieter and just beautiful! All the staff at the hotel were so friendly, helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make our stay extra special.

A good spot for buses and a ferry. There aren’t very many dining options near here which makes it quite unsuitable for a long stay. The ferry service to Valletta was good as too was the bus stop. Maureen was very helpful. The breakfast was alright with a range of food. There was also the option to have an omelette which was good. Thanks.

Super expérience dans cet hôtel! Le personnel est adorable et toujours au petit soin pour leur client. Ils sont souriant et très serviable. La chambre était parfaite, très pratique. La piscine et le salon d’été sont aussi très agréable et accessible une bonne partie de la journée. La ville est calme, et il est facile de s’y balader de jour comme de nuit. Le ferry à proximité permet de se déplacer rapidement un peu partout sur l’île. Bref je ne peux que recommander cet hôtel.

The property is situated on the waterfront in Cospicua! Stunning location! The hotel itself is a stunning guesthouse, beautifully restored! The room was spacious with a balcony! Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly, professional, attentive and approachable! Great service! In general the property is based close to shops, bars restaurants and other amenities! A boat station is located 2 min walk from the hotel and you can take a direct boat to Valetta for only €2 each way. The hotel has a rooftop pool, however beaches are not a long drive away. The hotel advertises free parking. It’s worth mentioning that there is no parking lot assigned to the hotel and parking is on streets around the hotel, space permitted. Sometimes we could park opposite the hotel and sometimes up to 5 min walk away in a parking lot (turn right from the hotel on to the main street and drive up the hill, passed the church on the right, opposite a fortress / war museum). In general we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel again!

Fantastic hotel. Superb staff, beautiful room. The location is excellent for getting around Malta. Short walk to the ferry for Valetta. Lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance and a convenience store open till 10pm also a short walk away.

Abbbiamo trascorso tre notti in questa stuttura, location molto bella e curata, pulizia impeccabile, come tutto il personale. Buona scelta di camere per dimensioni prezzi. Molto buona la colazione con uova preparate in vari modi al momento. Situata a pochi metri dal mare di Cospicua e comodissima sia per i traghetti per Valletta che per i trasporti pubblici. In pochi minuti, anche a piedi, si raggiungono ristoranti, luoghi di interesse e di svago. Se dovessimo tornare Malta di sicuro sceglieremmo ancora Casa Birmula.

Fantastiskt trevlig personal på ett trevligt hotell! Ett gammalt maltesiskt hus med många trappor som var väldigt fint inrett! Kallt vatten att fylla sina flaskor med i trapphusen. Liten pool på taket och en solterass med några solsängar och loungemöbler en trappa ner. God frukost med möjlighet att beställa omelett mm av den trevliga personalen.

Beautiful small hotel in an ancient building with beautiful furnishings. Our room (Sliema) was large and well furnished and equipped with excellent drinks making facilities. The bathroom was large and had plentiful hot water but was down a couple of steep steps from the bedroom. At the top of the hotel is a lovely roof terrace with fabulous views and a small pool. The breakfast was decent, especially the freshly cooked eggs. The hotel is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it is up a few steps up from the road and has more steps inside. There is a lift but it did not work throughout our stay. The staff at the hotel are delightful. The location in Cospicua is excellent, close to the Valetta ferry and with many restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance but feeling like a real Maltese town.

Extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Plenty of choice. Shout out for Maureen. My partner left a jacket in the room when we left. Maureen contacted me while on the cruise, and he was able to pick up the jacket on our return. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the harbour, the ferry point and numerous shops, bars and cafes. The hotel is clean and beautiful, small but with everything needed for a pleasant stay, including a water cooler on every floor. The room was great and the AC worked flawlessly in the 40 degree heat. The staff are helpful and very friendly. The breakfast is wonderful and the pool at the top offers amazing view of the neighbourhood. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the harbour, the ferry point and numerous shops, bars and cafes. The hotel is clean and beautiful, small but with everything needed for a pleasant stay, including a water cooler on every floor. The room was great and the AC worked flawlessly in the 40 degree heat. The staff are helpful and very friendly. The breakfast is wonderful and the pool at the top offers amazing view of the neighbourhood.
