Orchard Lodge

My wife and I stayed at Orchard Lodge while visiting family. We can completely recommend staying there. Our room was a good size , the bathroom was very well appointed. The area is lovely and quiet so we had very peaceful nights sleep. We enjoyed our freshly cooked to order breakfast each morning and a fantastic dinner on the first night. What makes Orchard Lodge stand out is how hard Lucinda and Andrew go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are so friendly. Orchard Lodge has a lovely garden which we sat in each night and had a few drinks, Andrew recommended some different wines and beers for us to try. If sustainability is your concern then Orchard Lodge uses many locally produced products they also have there own apples pressed for use at Orchard Lodge, we purchased two bottles to take home with us as it was superior to anything we have bought in a supermarket. As we were visiting the area Andrew and Lucinda gave us great directions and helped us with local knowledge which we found invaluable. Would my wife and I stayed at Orchard Lodge again ? The simple answer is we absolutely would.

Simply outstanding!! Andrew & Lucinda - we were greeted with an enthusiastic and welcoming smile by every members of staff. There wasn't anything that is too much trouble to ensure our stay was as comfortable as can be. Food was exquisite. Room was very comfortable and the best nights sleep that we have had in a very long while. Although we only had the great pleasure of staying two nights, we were so relaxed that it felt like we'd had had a week away! Garden was very quiet and relaxing too. There is so much positive things to say and this place and the hosts were outstanding! We are definitely booking a stay again and even if you are looking for somewhere to dine, this is definitely the best place to try fine dining. A must for people who appreciate fine food and willing to try something new. All ingredients are locally sourced with an artisan wine, beers and gin list. Best wishes, Kevin & Noleen

Absolutely wonderful, food was incredible and we had such a memorable stay. The hosts were attentive and friendly and we couldn’t asked for better. Only downside we couldn’t stay longer, definitely be returning. Thanks

This is a real find!! The Hotel, the hosts, the food and the service are all superb!! Andrew and Lucinda went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful break. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very well kitted out with everything we needed. The breakfasts and the young lady who served us on one of the days were brilliant

Absolutely fantastic, Host were very nice, clean and comfortable. Had so much choices for breakfast. Will definitely come back.
