I wouldn’t normally stay in a property without a gym, but this pub/hotel has made me re-think my decision. Very warm welcome, great food reasonably priced and lovely accommodation. I would recommend to my fellow business travellers.

What a lovely stay! We would definitely come back again! Lovely staff.The pub/restaurant has a beautiful open log fire so cozy! We had a delicious breakfast! Amazing hospitality! Thank you

Located in a very quiet little village, the accomodation is situated behind the pub. The rooms are - I suppose you would describe as - chalet style. They are very clean, tidy and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints about my stay there. But, I would add one piece of information to consider. The car park and access to the rooms is covered in small pebbles, shingle etc. Though I did notice that certain rooms had a clear path running to them from the rear of the pub. But if you have to walk over the shingle, it can be a little tricky if you're not stable on your feet - or foot in my case as I'm an amputee. I would imagine it would be a nightmare pushing (or wheeling yourself) a wheelchair. If this is you, I would advise speaking to the accommodation in advance of your arrival, I'm sure they would do whatever they can to make your stay comfortable.

All the rooms are on the ground floor, separate from the main building. The one we stayed in was a good size, clean and comfortable. We were here for 3 nights, however you could easily stay much longer as there was plenty of drawer space and a decent sized wardrobe. It was particularly nice on a sunny afternoon to be able to sit out on your own little terrace. Dinner in the restaurant is very good, as is the breakfast, which is served in the bar. Park and Ride into Norwich is at Thickthorn, a ten minute or so drive away.

Good priced accommodation close to the coast sadly the room was not as good a our previous stay, lots of black mould in the en-suite and dirty shower door seals, there is no extractor fan which would help with the damp. Also dirt & cobweb behind the bedside cabinets where the plugs are. Pub and food itself was good, and staff couldn’t do enough.

Checked in at the pub and shown to room. No mention of breakfast or an alternative as we were leaving early. Quite a few dark hairs in the bathroom...not ours.

The room was adequate with basic facilities. Shower room was not as clean as I had expected. Staff friendly and food good. I had to cut my stay short due to family commitments by one night, losing one bed & breakfast payment, but was not offered a refund. This was disappointing.

plus air conditioning which was great in the heat. Beds are comfortable and had a great night's sleep. This was our second visit and a little disappointed with the menu but that was personal choice. Room - bedding spotless and shower and bath clean. However there were some areas where they need to clean ie the radiator. Running a fingers over the yowel rail was thick with dust and the blinds needed a clean. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the corners and over the bed. Staff - day time staff were pleasant enough when serving but were not very friendly or welcoming. A smile goes a long way! The lady serving breakfast, however, was lovely and very friendly.

Breakfast is served in the pub bar area and was typical fare but very very tasty. The restaurant is clearly popular and the food quality very very good. The staff could not be more helpful and I am looking forward to my next stay in the Honingham Buck,

We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. The dinner on the first night was delicious & they were able to cater for my gluten & lactose intolerances. Our room was small but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the shower nice & powerful. The room although next to the car park was quiet. The choice for breakfast was fairly small but was perfectly cooked & hot. All in all a great place to stay.

an OK stay. Room could do with some attention to carpet and walls - damp and flaking paint. The dinner (sunday) was average, pre-cooked and reheated and the butternut squash took some locating. For what was meant to be the main element I had 2 1x1cm squares of it in the polenta loaf - disappointing meal.

lovely property in a peaceful village setting, with good road links to where I needed to be. this is my 4th visit to "The Buck" and it never disappoints, they even managed to fit me in for a lovely dinner despite the pub being VERY busy with diners. hopefully be staying there again in december

Close to the main road to Norwich but very quiet. Adjoining an old village pub. Rooms extremely comfortable and well maintained. Very convenient for people visiting the area. Friendly staff.would definitely recommend.

Stayed here several times lovely bar and restaurant rooms spacious and modern and clean also with air con would recommend a stay here. Also easy to travel to just off the A47.

All the rooms are on the ground floor, separate from the main building. The one we stayed in was a good size, clean and comfortable. We were here for 3 nights, however you could easily stay much longer as there was plenty of drawer space and a decent sized wardrobe. It was particularly nice on a sunny afternoon to be able to sit out on your own little terrace. Dinner in the restaurant is very good, as is the breakfast, which is served in the bar. Park and Ride into Norwich is at Thickthorn, a ten minute or so drive away.

Lovely location and country inn, good concept to have separate rooms as air bnb. Unfortunately, the advertised family room is not black out with a fire excape light beaming directly into the main room that was so bright they needed to leave eye masks (appreciated). So take something to cover this light as they cannot due to fire regs. Ive stayed in hotels similarly but this light is exceptionally bright! Food was 3 stars, i got an upset stomach unfortunately. The bed exceptionally comfortable, wet room shower a delight and hosts welcoming.

an OK stay. Room could do with some attention to carpet and walls - damp and flaking paint. The dinner (sunday) was average, pre-cooked and reheated and the butternut squash took some locating. For what was meant to be the main element I had 2 1x1cm squares of it in the polenta loaf - disappointing meal.

The food in the restaurant was outstandingly and the rooms are immaculate, comfortable and equipped. The only draw back is the bright green light that shines all night.

Great place to stay. The bed was very comfortable and room lovely and cool with good air conditioning in this hot weather. I ate an evening meal and breakfast and both very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would book again.

On pulling up to the property we weren’t sure we’d made the right decision. Never judge a book by its cover… Was good value and great property to stay at, with a lovely breakfast, good amenities and well maintained. Would stay here again.

Beautiful old pub with purpose built rooms built on the side...meaning clean and air conditioned with fantastic shower and big room. Location was lovely in a small Norfolk village. Food was amazing as was the service too. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet / sound proofed. Will definitely be returning.
