We had a room with a balcony and view of the lake, which was absolutely stunning. The room itself was very nice, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and delicious, with made to order eggs, and a large variety of items. Staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the location was ideal for us. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but the train was a 10 minute easy walk (or bus stop is about the same distance). Train stopped every hour, so we had our schedule to be there for the 8:20 into Interlaken Ost each day, one stop away. And then an easy transfer to anywhere we were heading for the day. This hotel also offers parking if you have a car (we had Swiss Travel Passes). There's a lovely covered area with tables/chairs in front of the hotel (across the road) that overlooks the lake as well. We didn't get to take advantage of this area as much as we'd liked to, as there's just too much to do! We hope to go back next year, this place was a highlight for us.

Friendly host, delicious breakfast and great location. We were able to walk a short distance for the train stop , as well as a ferry stop and have a lovely boat ride.

The location of this hotel is amazing! The lake view from our balcony was beautiful. We enjoyed spending quiet time on the hotel terrace overlooking the lake. Absolutely tranquil. Breakfast was delicious. Our bed was comfy. The staff was super friendly. I highly recommend!!!

Simplesmente perfeito! Começando pela hospitalidade, os anfitriões Richard e Tânia são muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Hotel em estilo chalé alpino onde percebe-se um capricho em cada canto, além de extremamente limpo, organizado, acolhedor, silencioso e com uma vista sensacional para o lago Brienz de tirar o folego. Quarto confortável, espaçoso e aconchegante, com roupas de cama confortáveis e toalhas de banho macias e cheirosas. Há também um elevador, para acesso aos andares superiores. O café da manhã é variado e muito delicioso. A localização é muito boa, de rápido acesso à estação Interlaken Ost, de onde saem trens para diversos pontos de interesse. Estacionamento de fácil acesso e manobra. O hotel oferece um cartão de transporte local gratuito – trem e ônibus, distantes, respectivamente, 8 e 5 minutos a pé do hotel, o que é uma ótima vantagem. We enjoyed our stay here! The view from our room was amazing! The breakfast were delicious. The parking for a car is easy and we were glad to be able to use it to enjoy getting to and from town and making excursions throughout the day.

The Alpina Hotel was an absolute delight. Our stay couldn’t have been better—the rooms were spotless and well-kept, and the views from the windows were nothing short of iconic. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, easily the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. A special mention goes to Monica, whose warmth and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a meal while taking in breathtaking views of the lake. They have these hand written reviews from the guests framed and hanged on the walls, I loved the idea. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel—10/10 experience!

Anne, our host, was very friendly and helpful to show us around and give suggestions. We loved everything, the quietness of the town. The breakfast was great. It would be a very good choice especially if you travel by car. The town is a bit away from interlaken and there aren’t many dining options in town. However, it still worked out for us by bus or train if you plan well with their schedules.

Hotel Alpina is a charming, wonderful little boutique hotel with beautiful views and very convenient to bus and train routes. The hotel was quiet and clean! The bed was comfortable. We loved sitting outside and looking over the lake and mountains. Lovely staff as well! I would definitely stay here again!!

Nous avons passé un superbe week end dans cette région. L'hôtel est idéalement situé et proche de site incroyable à visiter absolument si vous passez par là. Le propriétaire de l'hôtel Alpina est chaleureux, attentionné et disponible tout en étant discret et professionnel. La vue sur le lac et les montagnes enneigées accompagné d'un copieux petit déjeuner vous laisserons un souvenir délicieux. Cet établissement est très bien tenu, la chambre est propre et douillette. Nous aurions voulus que le temps s'arrête lors de notre séjour.

This hotel is an oasis of peace and quiet in sharp contrast with Interlakken itself. Every evening was like taking a beautiful deep breath after a day in the popular tourist areas. Beautiful decor, impeccable cleanliness, and wonderful staff. So happy we chose to stay here for 4 night! Absolutely recommend!

Nossa estadia no Alpina foi maravilhosa. Ficamos apenas uma noite, mas foi tudo em ordem. O hotel fica de frente para um lago lindo, a recepcionista fala português e foi super agradável conosco. O café da manhã foi bom e o atendimento da funcionária do café também foi super amigável. Destaques: o quarto estava extremamente cheiroso, e apesar de pequeno era muito confortável. Nossa estadia no Alpina foi maravilhosa. Ficamos apenas uma noite, mas foi tudo em ordem. O hotel fica de frente para um lago lindo, a recepcionista fala português e foi super agradável conosco. O café da manhã foi bom e o atendimento da funcionária do café também foi super amigável. Destaques: o quarto estava extremamente cheiroso, e apesar de pequeno era muito confortável. It’s a charming boutique hotel with a wonderful view of the lake. The property is located near the railway, so the mountain-view rooms can be a bit noisy during the day, but trains don’t run at night. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, I would recommend choosing a lake-view room for the best experience.

The location of this hotel is amazing! The lake view from our balcony was beautiful. We enjoyed spending quiet time on the hotel terrace overlooking the lake. Absolutely tranquil. Breakfast was delicious. Our bed was comfy. The staff was super friendly. I highly recommend!!!

Fue increible, desayuno buenisimo, su personal increible y atentos, camas buenas, increible vista al lago, pero, necesitan mosquiteras en las ventanas para evitar mosquitos o cualquier insecto volador, no hay aire acondicionado pero tienen ventilador que hubiera sido increible si hubiera mosquiteras. Pasa atras de la propiedad el tren, pero si estas cansado no importa.

Excellent stay here, 3 minute walk from the train station. Beautiful views. The staff who I believe were the owners went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They go the extra mile prepping breakfast. Would recommend to any of my family members or friends.

Excellent location in front of lake. Richard was very pleasant, welcoming and made sure our stay was the best ever. Superb breakfast and personalized service. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again when in Switzerland. 5 stars !!!

Hotel maravilhoso, atendimento excelente, vista sensacional, quarto aconchegante e localização ótima. Quero agradecer imensamente o carinho desde a nossa chegada com uma surpresa tão fofa no nosso quarto para comemorar nosso noivado. Simplesmente perfeito! Começando pela hospitalidade, os anfitriões Richard e Tânia são muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Quarto confortável, espaçoso e aconchegante, com roupas de cama confortáveis e toalhas de banho macias e cheirosas. Há também um elevador, para acesso aos andares superiores. O café da manhã é variado e muito delicioso. A localização é muito boa, de rápido acesso à estação Interlaken Ost, de onde saem trens para diversos pontos de interesse. Estacionamento de fácil acesso e manobra. O hotel oferece um cartão de transporte local gratuito – trem e ônibus, distantes, respectivamente, 8 e 5 minutos a pé do hotel, o que é uma ótima vantagem. We had the most wonderful experience at Boutique Hotel Alfina! They made my mom’s birthday so incredibly special. When we arrived, we were surprised with beautiful balloons, a birthday card thoughtfully signed by Tania and Richard, delicious macarons, and chocolates. It was such a heartfelt touch that meant so much to us. The location is conveniently located just a couple of minutes’ walk from the bus station. Our room had a gorgeous balcony with breathtaking views of the lake. It was truly magical and so relaxing, a perfect place to unwind and soak in the scenery. Breakfast was phenomenal. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The quality and variety were impressive, making every morning a treat. Tania, Richard, and all the staff were so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their hospitality was unmatched. Tania even took the time to help us figure out the best route for our travels and made sure we got where we needed to go without any trouble. We felt so at home and completely cared for during our stay. Every detail was thoughtfully planned to ensure we had the best experience possible. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting the area. Anne, our host, was very friendly and helpful to show us around and give suggestions. We loved everything, the quietness of the town. The breakfast was great. It would be a very good choice especially if you travel by car. The town is a bit away from interlaken and there aren’t many dining options in town. However, it still worked out for us by bus or train if you plan well with their schedules.

We had a room with a balcony and view of the lake, which was absolutely stunning. The room itself was very nice, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and delicious, with made to order eggs, and a large variety of items. Staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the location was ideal for us. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but the train was a 10 minute easy walk (or bus stop is about the same distance). Train stopped every hour, so we had our schedule to be there for the 8:20 into Interlaken Ost each day, one stop away. And then an easy transfer to anywhere we were heading for the day. This hotel also offers parking if you have a car (we had Swiss Travel Passes). There's a lovely covered area with tables/chairs in front of the hotel (across the road) that overlooks the lake as well. We didn't get to take advantage of this area as much as we'd liked to, as there's just too much to do! We hope to go back next year, this place was a highlight for us.

Hotel Alpina is a charming, wonderful little boutique hotel with beautiful views and very convenient to bus and train routes. The hotel was quiet and clean! The bed was comfortable. We loved sitting outside and looking over the lake and mountains. Lovely staff as well! I would definitely stay here again!!

Lugar calmo, aconchegante, ótimo café da manhã, com uma vista maravilhosa em frente ao lago Brienz e ótima localização, pertinho de Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, etc. Funcionários do hotel muito prestativos e gentis. Sem contar que os donos são uns amores e muito simpáticos, preocupados em receber e acolher muito bem os hóspedes. Tania é brasileira também e uma querida. Foram dias perfeitos nesse lugar que conquistou nosso coração. Como sugestão de melhoria, apenas diria que o quarto poderia ter um pequeno frigobar, blackout nas janelas e um espelho de tamanho maior.

Nous avons passé un superbe week end dans cette région. L'hôtel est idéalement situé et proche de site incroyable à visiter absolument si vous passez par là. Le propriétaire de l'hôtel Alpina est chaleureux, attentionné et disponible tout en étant discret et professionnel. La vue sur le lac et les montagnes enneigées accompagné d'un copieux petit déjeuner vous laisserons un souvenir délicieux. Cet établissement est très bien tenu, la chambre est propre et douillette. Nous aurions voulus que le temps s'arrête lors de notre séjour.

This hotel is an oasis of peace and quiet in sharp contrast with Interlakken itself. Every evening was like taking a beautiful deep breath after a day in the popular tourist areas. Beautiful decor, impeccable cleanliness, and wonderful staff. So happy we chose to stay here for 4 night! Absolutely recommend!

The Alpina Hotel was an absolute delight. Our stay couldn’t have been better—the rooms were spotless and well-kept, and the views from the windows were nothing short of iconic. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, easily the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. A special mention goes to Monica, whose warmth and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable. Right in front of the hotel, there’s a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a meal while taking in breathtaking views of the lake. They have these hand written reviews from the guests framed and hanged on the walls, I loved the idea. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel—10/10 experience!

Anne, our host, was very friendly and helpful to show us around and give suggestions. We loved everything, the quietness of the town. The breakfast was great. It would be a very good choice especially if you travel by car. The town is a bit away from interlaken and there aren’t many dining options in town. However, it still worked out for us by bus or train if you plan well with their schedules.

Amamos a nossa estadia no hotel. O quarto era muito confortável, aconchegante, lindo! O hotel em si é lindo. O café da manhã uma delícia. Os funcionários muito atenciosos e prestativos. A localização sensacional, entre Brienz e Interlaken. Tem uma estação de trem bem atrás do hotel. A vista do hotel é perfeita. De um lado aquele lago azul turquesa maravilhoso e do outro as montanhas. Incrível! Certamente voltaremos!

Hotel has a beautiful view and located very close to the train station. The property could you be better maintained. In our room the floor was cracked in the center of the room. It was a huge crack and it caused your foot to go down into the whole when stepping over it. since the room is small there was no way to go around it. The whole was covered by a big rug that they placed over it. We mentioned it at check in the following morning since we arrived late, all we were told was that it happened recently but there was no attempt to amplify our experience/upgrade us
