Regency Pyramids

Outre la gentillesse du personnel, oubliez le côté pyramide avec le bruit incessant du transformateur électrique vous ne vous entendez à peine parler sur la terrasse et continuer d’entre ce bruit fenêtres fermées. Avec 6 coupures d’électricité par jour en moyenne attention aux ascenseurs ! Concernant la chambre drap qui est trop petit vs le matelas, salle de bain avec porte de douche qui ne ferme pas (les serviettes servent de serpillière) ´le côté vétuste voire peu propre ne pensez pas au 4* mais plutôt au bonheur d’être en Égypte Grand étonnement sur la piscine qui est très vendeuse sur les photos mais ne donne pas vraiment envi de s’y plonger lorsque l’on voit de plus prêt . Mise à part cela l’hôtel est bien situé, ne comptez pas trop sortir aux alentours sauf si vous souhaitez vous faire ennuyer par certains marchand trop accrocheur Néanmoins je ne mets pas moins d’étoiles car certaines personnes étaient très sympa malgré tout mais je ne pense pas y retourner en séjour mais plutôt de passage pour faire signe .. À éviter quand même dirons nous

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen. Schöne Aussicht auf die Pyramiden. Die Zimmer sind gross mit Balkon. Pool auf dem Dach. Das Restaurant ist in Ordnung. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Das ganze Gebāude kōnnte mal wieder aufgefrischt werden. Am Abend leider viel Lārm. Jeden Abend finden mehrere Hochzeiten oder andere Events statt.

We booked this hotel for the views which were excellent. The hotel itself was good, the rooftop pools look nice but are not very clean.

Filthy In horrible state - no hot water, no towels , apart of a dance club, a gentleman’s club, tour bus dining, loud music that raged until 5:00 am every day, broken elevator, mud puddle floors, breakfast made up of buffet leftovers under plastic wrap, super creepy place! Worst nightmare of a place -

It is unbelievable to me that this hotel has this high of a review. It is in disrepair there is reconstruction going on. It is filthy. There’s no breakfast available. It’s just unbelievable. You have to walk through debris to get to the pool and I’m talking concrete and blocks and everything, the staff was very nice. However we arrived at 11 o’clock at night and there was construction going on. They told us it would end in several hours. We got no sleep at all that night. It was so bad we checked out the next morning and found a new hotel , the manager, Mohammed insisted we pay for the first night even though we got no sleep and no breakfast I was very disappointed. I would never stay here and I would want anyone else to stay away.

Little problems with the internet but all in all it was great.

The view of the pyramids from orvtoom snd the pool is fantastic

Top second worst hotel I stayed at and there are only two. - internet continually expiring - staff pushy (called me 3 in one pay to pay for the taxi transport that was agreed will be pain on check out) - tried to up the price of the taxi when my partner went to pay from $30 to $35 - 2 towels for 3 people on check in; difficult to chase up more - next day all towels removed; none left; difficult to get more - chased an iron (no board!) for 2 days - water needs 10 minutes of running before it is luke warm (according to maintenance that’s normal) - internet just gone for hours; no explanation why - conversion rate for payment way above average (ripping you off big time, so be careful) - lights/electricity tripping on-off ever 15minutes to 1hour - no coffee/tea/creamer in room and not replaced either (so not one day oversight) - we bought coffee and the plastic spoons melted in the hot water - no actual cups - be mindful that everyday there is a wedding which produces loads of noise each night - no stopper in bathtub - not cleaned after renovations so all dusty and some strange white stuff all over the bathroom that comes off onto you like shower gel when water is running over it - staff English/Deutsch the poorest I’ve ever encountered travelling; very difficult to explain/agree on anything - safe not working - pool full of algae - overall incredibly filthy I really have no good word/comment for it

The staff was very kind and helpful. The facilities are under construction but it's not a big inconvenience. I would definitely stay there again, the price os good and the location is perfect. The coffee house was wonderful i wish i would have gone on my first day there and not my last.

Aircon was broken, shower was broken, there was rubbish left overs of food all down the hall way. This wasn’t a 4 star hotel

Se nota que el hotel fue muy lindo en otra época pero esta seriamente deteriorado. Las camas son cómodas y limpias y las habitaciones amplias. La vista a las pirámides es de primer nivel. No vale la pena el ahorro con los hoteles de mejor categoría.

Poor condition of rooms, needs lots of maintenance for upkeep of bathrooms, lack of basic facilities like daily water replenishments..

Das einzig gute war die Aussicht vom Balkon auf die Pyramiden. Was hat uns nicht gefallen, Ja wo sollen wir da anfangen ? Die Eingangshalle bzw Foyer ist Kitschig überladen mit Plastikrepliken von Ägyptischen Statuen. Zimmer: Teppich mit Flecken, Fleckige Wände, Mobiliar Alt und Kaputt, fehlplatzierte Schalter und Steckdosen teilweise ohne Abdeckungen, Schrauben in den Schränken innenseitig Scharfkantig (Verletzungsgefahr). Auf den Matratzen hat vermutlich schon Ramses II. gepennt, so alt und verbraucht ist der zustand. Die Stahlfedern darin spürbar bei jeder Bewegung ! Frühstück: Nicht der Rede wert, nur nationales Frühstück, Alles einzeln Verpackt in Plastiktütchen, Pappbecher, Wurst und Käse vertrocknet, Kaffee nur Billiger Löslicher Pulverkaffee! Als wir den Frühstücksraum betraten um 09.00 Uhr (Frühstück bis um 10.00) kein Sauberer Tisch auffindbar nach Anfrage beim Personal (Personal saß gemütlich beim Chillen auf dem Balkon) wurde wieder-willig und wirklich schlampig ein Tisch hergerichtet. D. H. Die Tischdecke wurde umgedreht und der Tisch vorher mit derselben abgeschlagen !!! Lärm : Direkt zum Hotel gehören einige Räumlichkeiten die für Einheimische Hochzeiten genutzt werden (Ägyptische Hochzeiten sind Laut richtig Laut ! Jodelnde Frauen, Trommeln, Musik,) Während unseres Aufenthaltes waren jeden Tag mehrere Hochzeiten !!! Das alles direkt unterhalb der Balkone die Richtung der Pyramiden gehen ! Hotel liegt neben 4 Spuriger Hauptstraße,.Fazit Nie Wieder !!!

Hôtel en construction, je déconseille très fortement. Il y a de la poussière partout, les chambres sont sales, il n y a pas d’eau chaude mais tiède, l’ascenseur ne marche pas. Pour 100$ la nuit, c’est le pire hôtel que j’ai fait de toute ma vie ! Et pourtant je suis une grande voyageuse. Le seul positif c est Abdo du personnel qui a été très sympathique. Hotel under construction, I strongly advise against. There is dust everywhere, the rooms are dirty, there is no hot but warm water, the elevator does not work. It’s the worst hotel I did in my entire life and I am used to travel a lot.

el hotel no se encontraba bien mantenido, por ej. en la ducha el pasamanos estaba con los tornillos suelto, el closet con las manillas sueltas, aseo de la habitacion a medias, aguia fria en la ducha. Con ellos contratamos los tour, solo guia en ingles porque no tenian en español. Todo bien el primer dia, segundo dia horrible, la guia se tomó atribuciones sobre mi esposo que me cargaron, le hizo el tour solo a e, le habla en la oreja y bajito para que yo no escuchara, yo no hablo ingles pero si lo entiendo, le tomaba fotos y me pedia q me corriera para q no saliera. Ese servicio de guia no me gustó, ademas tuvieron problemas con el 1er guia lo cual, salimos 1 hr y media atrasados.

The only positive was the staff. They were very helpful, kind and friendly. However it does not warrant a 4 star rating Sheet did not even cover top of mattress. Mattress full of hard springs and uncomfortable. Shower kept turning hot and cold. Breakfast was not great. Only Nescafé. WiFi was weak. Only thing to recommend is that it is close to the pyramids and other than the over priced Marriott it looked like the best of the hotels around. Very tacky with overdone Egyptian motifs. Our room faces the street and street noises were very loud. Our friend’s room faced the inner courtyard ( with pyramid view) and had to deal with music until late as there were wedding parties below every night.

The Hotel provided a taxi and guide for the whole week we were staying there, this was sorted by Mohammed. Due to mobility problems there were some museums we were unable to visit fully but saw more than we expected. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the pyramids. Would recommend this hotel. Mohammed arranged trips to Saqqara, Alexandria, Cairo Museum, the Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, and the new Grand Egyptian Museum as well as the Pyramids at very reasonable prices.

We were given a room that was loud next to a bar and was no hot water. We asked to move and they moved us and that was nice. The staff was lovely and helpful. But not sure if it was the nights we were they but there was loud music every night till 4-5am so sleep was hard to come by. The views were great of the pyramids, but sleep is important.

It has a great view, amenities were average. Some added decor seemed as an afterthought. You need your key card to run ac, so every time you get back its to a warm-ish room. Ac made noise throughout the night. The hotel hosted several weddings while we were there and party lasted from 12 to 3am. People were friendly, hotel manager did his best to accommodate us. Free breakfast was good but basic. If you want pyramids view, this would be a hotel to consider.

You will get up, have your meal and swim in the roof top pool with the most astonishing view of Cairo. Rooms are spacious, they have rooms of different sizes (even up to 3 beds) that may easily match your travel requirements. There are restaurants in the complex were enjoy dining and chill.

I had a marvelous time at Regency Pyramids Hotel. Conveniently located adjacent to the Pyramids, under a 5 minutes walk. Hotel had great breakfast selection and super friendly staff. Hotel Manager Mohamed Abdo was super professional, he took the time to reach out prior to my arrival and upon arrival and was very helpful in questions I had via WhatsApp instantly. Best hotel in Giza/Cairo near pyramids.

The staff, front desk, reservation manager, restaurant wait staff- each and every one was friendly, helpful. We appreciated the information about and the hotel making the reservation including transportation to the boat, for a river/dinner cruise with a variety of entertainment. We enjoyed seeing the pyramids from the roof where we enjoyed our breakfast and the pool.

El personal es muy atento y agradable

Once we walked into this hotel everyone made us feel safe and everyone was so friendly and nice it made us feel more at home rather. Would definitely recommend to others for there stay/visit in Egypt 🇪🇬 ❤️😊 My friend and I will definitely be back at Egypt and when we do we will make sure to book this hotel again for the next time❤️

This was such a nice hotel! The lobby looked amazing and so was the view from the pool was gorgeous. You could see the pyramids from there!

Grundsätzlich waren wir sehr zufrieden. Man sollte aber die persönlichen Standards stark runter schrauben, da das hotel extrem renovierungsbedürftig ist und direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt. Hervorzuheben ist der Ausblick und die Umgebung
