After 2 weeks living in our campervan as we trekked up the Qld east coast this place was the perfect reprieve. Quiet location only 10 minutes from Airlie, set back in a quiet semi rural property. There was plenty of room to park our camper. The place itself was quaint and comfortable. Everything was clean and the cottage was well appointed. Priced perfectly in what is an other expensive area. The owners were helpful and unobtrusive. Would recommend.

Wonderful historical cabin in a quiet location close to Airlie Beach. Host did a great job refurbishing the cabin. Very cozy and functional. Very well stocked for our three night stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Cane Cutters Cottage-what a property and what an escape! Definitely need to hire a car for convenience in and out of town and if you’re looking to explore the wider area, I would definitely recommend it! So many amazing places to go and see! There is a local bus service but the last stop is at the shops and then, although it’s not a super long walk (or ride) to the cottage- it’s a main road with no edges and at night, no street lights- so not really suitable for pedestrians. Suzette was amazing- super helpful and contactable, with some great local recommendations. The Cottage was comfortable and fit with everything you need. We loved relaxing in the cottage and reading our books on the balcony. We hope to stay one day again in the future! Thankyou so much for such a great escape, Suzette. Luke & Maddy :)

Secluded tropical paradise! Although the fitout is a little dated it is full of old world charm. We loved the original features and the spacious deck which allowed us to sit outside even in a rain storm.
