We took our grandlovies (4 and almost-6 year old boys) to this lovely resort as part of their birthday getaway with Gaga and Buppa. Although I got completely mixed up with the area we were headed to, Cheryl (Sheryl?) was incredibly kind and helpful and guided us to their resort. We arrived at 9 pm to a beautifully clean and welcoming room with an equally welcoming staff. The lovely lady at the front desk at night helped us find a great pizza place to order food for our grandsons and made us feel so welcome. We had plenty of towels and very comfortable beds (two queen-size). In the morning, we got our swimwear on and went up to the fourth floor to a spotless and very relaxing pool and hot tub area overlooking a gorgeous view of Silver Lake and the beautiful sand dunes. There was even a squeaky-clean post-swim shower there to rinse the chlorine off. Housekeeping staff was so sweet too: I had asked where I could take the pizza boxes and bagged trash I had rounded up from our stay and was told "oh honey, don't worry about any of that. We handle all of that!" After we left, we made a quick left turn to go check out the sand dunes and the cool house that had a lighthouse attached to it. Beautiful area and we loved climbing up to the top of the dunes and watching the dune buggies go bounding down the steep vehicle areas (the resort nearly backs up to the public access for the sand dunes and there's a staircase to climb almost to the top). Already planning next year's trip there!

Fairly clean and friendly service. Nice to have proximity to San dunes and the lakes :) would just have to say the cleaning products smell way too strong and unpleasant, and pool area odor and cleanliness made it unusable for us.

a pretty decent pace to stay. Clean and everything worked. This is on the water with a sand beach but there a re so many boat docks that it is not real attractive, it is good for small children. There are a number of attractions and food shops within an easy walk but to g et real food you will have to drive. Nice indoor swimming pool and hot tub on the top floor.There is a small coffee pot in the room no microwave. The automatic coffee machine down the hall makes terrible coffee. I would prefer a comfortable chair to sit in rather than the typical straight dining rm chair, Overall if we were back in the area we would certainly consider staying here again.

Beach access is not for swimming, there’s a sea wall into a boat dock area. Comfortable beds, clean facility & property. Restaurants & entertainment in the area by water is considerably overpriced & of average to poor quality.

Areas that were close for convenience. Quite and relaxing. Only problem was whirlpool hott tub water the hott water never got hott so never got to use it which hopefully i get compensated for that!!

Nice to be by the lake but the hotel for the price can use updating. Remote didnt completely work for the tv, bathroom had no fan, older looking. There was no air on in the pool area and the hot tub water didnt look very clean. The game area was very hot also tge 3rd floor hallway, when your paying 300$ a night for a hotel they should be able to afford to turn up the air conditioning. As for the bed the pillows seemed they had been washed a million times and not as comfortable. I wont lie I was dissapointed in the hotel and i have been going to silver lake for years.

The property was very nice. The indoor pool was perfect for the kids because it was 22” in the shallow end. Perfect for the kids to play in. Be careful for the kids walking near the pool though, the tile gets slippery when wet. The hotel room was well kept. Microwave is in lobby. Overall great experience!

It was clean and friendly. But there is no breakfast or any options for food and the pool is on the fourth floor...our room was below it and there was a large side water spot in our ceiling 🙄 the view from my balcony, however, was amazing!!!

Great spot right on the lake and perfectly located for the Apple BBQ festival. I wish they had a fire pit on their beach to make up for not being able to camp. Would have completed the Fall experience. In general nice and clean rooms if a little dated. My only real issue is the water in the shower was barley luke warm.

I like the location, but the door to my room had to be slammed in order to close it and the tv didn’t work.. I didn’t say anything bc I assumed I got that room bc I booked through Expedia. Otherwise it was clean and it was quiet..

The beds were absolutely horrible. It was like sleeping on cement. The little fridge was not working and the beach access was not what they portray it to be. I would expect much more for the price we paid. We will not be returning or recommending it to anyone.

Location is great! Right in the middle or everything in town and was clean. Great view of the water. The Downfall was the bed was really hard and uncomfortable and although the pool was huge, it was only 3 feet deep. Great for little kids, but not for adults wanting to unwind. Also wish they served breakfast cuz there isn’t much close by.

The bathroom was not good the toilet did not flush right and the water pressure for the shower was not good. It was too pricy for what we got.

Lakeview balcony was a great amenity. Rooms were outdated and didn’t have 1 consistent color scheme. Bed was uncomfortable and the mattress protector was loud like laying on a grocery bag. Front desk staff was very helpful. Hotel was great location. There was no soft screen behind curtains so if you wanted to change in the room you had to completely shut the heavy window curtain which would make the room very dark. Arcade games do not reflect accurately in the photo. Would definitely book again, but for the price it was not 5 stars.

We handle all of that!" After we left, we made a quick left turn to go check out the sand dunes and the cool house that had a lighthouse attached to it. Beautiful area and we loved climbing up to the top of the dunes and watching the dune buggies go bounding down the steep vehicle areas (the resort nearly backs up to the public access for the sand dunes and there's a staircase to climb almost to the top). Already planning next year's trip there!
We took our grandlovies (4 and almost-6 year old boys) to this lovely resort as part of their birthday getaway with Gaga and Buppa. Although I got completely mixed up with the area we were headed to, Cheryl (Sheryl?) was incredibly kind and helpful and guided us to their resort. We arrived at 9 pm to a beautifully clean and welcoming room with an equally welcoming staff. The lovely lady at the front desk at night helped us find a great pizza place to order food for our grandsons and made us feel so welcome. We had plenty of towels and very comfortable beds (two queen-size). In the morning, we got our swimwear on and went up to the fourth floor to a spotless and very relaxing pool and hot tub area overlooking a gorgeous view of Silver Lake and the beautiful sand dunes. There was even a squeaky-clean post-swim shower there to rinse the chlorine off. I did not like that there were signs everywhere threatening extra charges. I understand people take advantage of hotels and steal towels etc but the agreement you sign while checking in that details charges for everything from pets to smoking in the room was more than sufficient. It is uncomfortable and not hospitable.

I like the room jacuzzi suite with balcony but no Wi-Fi on the 2nd floor for my 2 day stay (1st floor only for Wi-Fi who wants to go down to lobby area to use it SMH). was bs it’s on them to provide satisfaction of that service to customers and the owner didn’t t care at all the beds are not soft at all they suck beds hard as a rock every room but the staff were super cool I hope they get treated good I wasn’t even asking for a big kick back the area is still beautiful and I want go back but the beds make me never want to go back and the owners attitude towards his customers makes hard to spend our money here again

a pretty decent pace to stay. Clean and everything worked. This is on the water with a sand beach but there a re so many boat docks that it is not real attractive, it is good for small children. There are a number of attractions and food shops within an easy walk but to g et real food you will have to drive. Nice indoor swimming pool and hot tub on the top floor.There is a small coffee pot in the room no microwave. The automatic coffee machine down the hall makes terrible coffee. I would prefer a comfortable chair to sit in rather than the typical straight dining rm chair, Overall if we were back in the area we would certainly consider staying here again.

Beach access is not for swimming, there’s a sea wall into a boat dock area. Comfortable beds, clean facility & property. Restaurants & entertainment in the area by water is considerably overpriced & of average to poor quality.

Location is great! Right in the middle or everything in town and was clean. Great view of the water. The Downfall was the bed was really hard and uncomfortable and although the pool was huge, it was only 3 feet deep. Great for little kids, but not for adults wanting to unwind. Also wish they served breakfast cuz there isn’t much close by.

It was clean and friendly. But there is no breakfast or any options for food and the pool is on the fourth floor...our room was below it and there was a large side water spot in our ceiling 🙄 the view from my balcony, however, was amazing!!!

Location is perfect. If you book the lake side you see beautiful sunset over the dunes. It's a short walk to dining, ice cream and lake. A short drive to dune rides and dune hikes. It's not a new hotel. Don't expect marble or quarts counter tops but you get a well maintained room with good bed and fridge. It's a perfect location for the dunes, lighthouse and other nice towns and lakes for exploring. Only thing we learned is many places only open Thursday through Sunday in late August. I assume since many schools have already started which was actually why we picked this week. Less traffic and easy to get around. They have special parking if you are towing a 4 wheeler on a trailer as well.
