The breakfast, which was included in the price, was amazing (eggs, toast, butter, jam, juice, and coffee). The facility is new and offers Wi-Fi and parking. The shower had the best water pressure of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip through Costa Rica. Upon arrival, they provide you with a map detailing all the local amenities, including the supermarket and tourist attractions, along with their prices!

Emmanuel was super responsive and helpful through out process from reservation to our stay and check-out. He helped us book a few tours, had great recommendations for the area and we felt safe and supported throughout. This space fulfilled our needs for our trip in terms of providing a safe space to rest, but folks should expect that it is incredibly no-frills. Rooms are close to the road so expect some traffic noise. Air in the rooms is also very still as there is no additional ventilation available by way of AC or fans. Temperatures were cool enough that we were able to rest adequately but I'd imagine if it got a bit warmer that it could be rather uncomfortable. Breakfast is provided, simple and hearty. Family restaurant right next door where we also had delicious meals. Decently walkable location to 'town' center with all the food and necessities but be prepared for some inclines/ hills.

L'hôtel est a petite marche du centre du village. Le restaurant Lety est excellent pour tous les repas. Le personnel et Emmanuel sont très efficaces pour toute demande: transport, excursions. Le seul point décevant était le bruit l'après midi car il y avait des travaux de rénovation. Lorsqu'ils seront terminés, ce sera bien.

Estuvo excelente nuestra estadía Casa Jungle, la comida muy rica en el desayuno y también muy recomendable almorzar ahí mismo. Emmanuel muy amable y siempre nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones para visitar cerca del lugar. El mejor lugar en monteverde para hospedarse!

Great location just a block from local sodas. Was about 15 minutes by car from Monteverde. The breakfast was an option between traditional costa rican or continental breakfast. The rooms itself are comfortable, clean and the wifi works well.

The best thing about this property is that it is family owned, and all family members are extremely friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable in the space. The brother runs a music school next door (with super cute little kids taking lessons), the sister owns the restaurant, and the mother helps out with breakfast in the morning. Emmanuel in particular was extremely helpful and kind. Other positive aspects of this property are: it’s very close to town, and you can walk to most restaurants. There is a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, along with coffee and tea so you can help yourself whenever you want during the day. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was strong. Overall, I would recommend staying here!

This B&B is clean, nicely equipped, with a good breakfast, friendly staff, easy parking, and short walk to the center of Santa Elena. We liked the personal touch that comes with a B&B that has 8 rooms. The host is wonderful and we would certainly stay here again on a return trip.

Many of the staff were related and they were extremely helpful and informative. I found Emmanuel particularly helpful.The location was good, both because of proximity to village of Santa Elena, and also because of the excellent restaurant on site. Emmanuel's sister cooked.

Nice place on the inside but hard to find down a narrow street. Google Maps got me there. There’s free parking and an attached restaurant run by hotel manager’s sister. Room was good and it came with a free breakfast. It’s not really within a short walk to anything but services in town are a 2-minute drive. Close to attractions in Monteverde area. If you don't speak Spanish ask for help using the TV. Not much programming in English. Very windy the day i was there. Friendly helpful staff

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war einfach und sauber, auch wenn aktuell andere Zimmer grundsaniert werden. Zum Frühstück im angrenzenden Restaurant der Schwester konnte man zwischen Kontinentalem und Costa Ricanischen wählen. Wir haben dort auch sehr gut "Casado" gegessen, Emmanuel hat für uns eine geführte Tour im Santa Elena Park organisiert. Beim Besuch dort gab es keinen Nebel, aber es hat sich gelohnt, den Park zu Durchwandern.

Reservamos um quarto conforto, que tinha as mobílias e o banheiro aparentemente novos. Tinha o conforto necessário para uma noite de sono, porém tivemos um problema, pois encontramos muitos cabelos no lençol e nos trocaram de quarto. A limpeza do quarto e do banheiro precisa ser melhor tbm, encontramos algumas teias de aranha.

Bon accueil. Chambre grande et propre. Petit déjeuner bon mais pas très copieux, ils accepteront de nous le servir 10min avant pour arriver à l'heure à notre tour. Proche du centre à pied.

Great staff and great service. Manuel is fantastic and was also helpful with my laundry. Good convenience and location. A little tough to sleep sometimes cuz of road traffic but I didn't have my earplugs so that would've helped. Overall a great deal for the traveler.

What made this place memorable is Emmanuel the host! He couldn’t have been a nicer guy or done anything else to make us feel more welcome in his home and country. The room itself and breakfast area were a little run down and we were provided with either a Costa Rican or American breakfast. There wasn’t much hot water in the shower. This is a cheap B&B that is still only 10 mins walk from the square. La Soda Armistad nearby was a good quality and cheap restaurant.
What made this place memorable is Emmanuel the host! He couldn’t have been a nicer guy or done anything else to make us feel more welcome in his home and country. Very happy with our stay. When we left I forgot to pack my very good binoculars. Two hours down the road I discovered they were missing. Thankfully, the staff at Casa Jungle had them waiting when we returned.

Great staff and great service. Manuel is fantastic and was also helpful with my laundry. Good convenience and location. A little tough to sleep sometimes cuz of road traffic but I didn't have my earplugs so that would've helped. Overall a great deal for the traveler.

The best thing about this property is that it is family owned, and all family members are extremely friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable in the space. The brother runs a music school next door (with super cute little kids taking lessons), the sister owns the restaurant, and the mother helps out with breakfast in the morning. Emmanuel in particular was extremely helpful and kind. Other positive aspects of this property are: it’s very close to town, and you can walk to most restaurants. There is a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, along with coffee and tea so you can help yourself whenever you want during the day. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was strong. Overall, I would recommend staying here!

This B&B is clean, nicely equipped, with a good breakfast, friendly staff, easy parking, and short walk to the center of Santa Elena. We liked the personal touch that comes with a B&B that has 8 rooms. The host is wonderful and we would certainly stay here again on a return trip.

Great value for the money. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Great location for walking to restaurants, etc. but the area has quite a bit of road noise and barking dogs

The breakfast, which was included in the price, was amazing (eggs, toast, butter, jam, juice, and coffee). The facility is new and offers Wi-Fi and parking. The shower had the best water pressure of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip through Costa Rica. Upon arrival, they provide you with a map detailing all the local amenities, including the supermarket and tourist attractions, along with their prices!

Estuvo excelente nuestra estadía Casa Jungle, la comida muy rica en el desayuno y también muy recomendable almorzar ahí mismo. Emmanuel muy amable y siempre nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones para visitar cerca del lugar. El mejor lugar en monteverde para hospedarse!

Great location just a block from local sodas. Was about 15 minutes by car from Monteverde. The breakfast was an option between traditional costa rican or continental breakfast. The rooms itself are comfortable, clean and the wifi works well.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war einfach und sauber, auch wenn aktuell andere Zimmer grundsaniert werden. Zum Frühstück im angrenzenden Restaurant der Schwester konnte man zwischen Kontinentalem und Costa Ricanischen wählen. Wir haben dort auch sehr gut "Casado" gegessen, Emmanuel hat für uns eine geführte Tour im Santa Elena Park organisiert. Beim Besuch dort gab es keinen Nebel, aber es hat sich gelohnt, den Park zu Durchwandern.

I’ll start with the good - convenient location to main town area, tasty & quality breakfast, cute layout, easy parking, and kind staff. I ended up having a ton of little bugs in my room and when I asked about bug spray, the owner gave me a can and I blasted every inch of my room. From then on, I only had a few bug issues after that, but the paranoia lived on during the rest of my stay. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, but they do provide a fan, which is fine considering the lower temps of Monteverde. The place is far from luxury, but is fine for a night or two for maybe a backpacker or someone used to hostels?

Good property and location. Room wasn’t quiet at all. Fan was loud and couldn’t use. No air conditioning. Wind outside was knocking things around. Shower temperature was difficult to adjust. Parking was limited and obstructed by some construction stuff.
