I like that it’s gated/felt safe. Parking great. Elevator was convenient. Golf cart takes you to & from the beach, but we walked since we were so close. The only complaint is our bedroom needed more lighting . Those little lamps don’t do it. It was very quiet there. The commercial washer/dryer room was on our floor, so that was very convenient/they were quick and it was only $1.50 each (take quarters only) The pool was great. The landscaping/trees are very nice. Bring paper towels, body wash, shampoo, laundry detergent. They provide powder for dish washer/bags for trash can/toilet paper, towels, wash cloths, one little soap.

Gated Resort a plus, the one bedroom was spacious with screened in balcony, shuttle to the beach was great, beach side bar, walking distance to Broadway at the Beach.

The resort was beautiful and convenient to all the shopping areas. I really enjoyed that they’re swimming pools in each villa and the beach was only a few steps away!

This property was very disappointing and not like the pictures made it out to be . There was an additional parking fee of $10 per night and 39. Dollars insurance, which we were not told about. There were several basic amenities that were not available. Coffee, water, salt & pepper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, Potholders. There was not a washer and dryer, and they left us just a few towels each for 4 days. The television did not work in the twin room, and there was no guide for the television channels. There were no Extra trash bags. These are easy things that owners could have done. It was a very disappointing experience. The place is old and needs updates, however it would have been okay for the price, if the basic amenities were available. I also texted the number to the owners on day 1,and there was no response. There also was no ocean view to dine in on the balcony, as per the advertisement The floors were dirty then there was no mop or broom. The plus side is the air conditioning Did work well. We will not be staying here again or recommending it to family and friends.

Ocean creek is in a park-like setting and is quiet, family-friendly, many pools, and shopping nearby. It has been around for a while and some of the units need to be upgraded and/or better maintained.

Great place that we found last minute as for another facility downtown was very nasty. Oyster. Reek worked for our whole team as for we had about 8 families that had to relocate. Amazing beach Bar and pools also great little community.

We stay at village 2156, not very clean and smells. The blankets on one bed was very dirty and the sofa bed,was terrible,super old and very uncomfortable.Family of 6 for 5 nights and only one set of towels. Very outdated ,very small kitchen, stove useless so the cookware and no blender,come on. No cleaning supply’s at all. We have to expend a lot in order to cook and wash or dishes. Nothing included not even a vacuum or dish soap. Nothing but two old chairs for the beach an other expense for or family. The area was great,the gym very small,useless ,the indoor pool and hot tub as well. You will think a resort next to the beach will have everything included and in very good shape for the 3.5 stars they suppose had. I’ll say only the neighborhood and the access to the beach is the only good thing about this place. Ohh and they charge for tennis courts,the golf and parking lot as well. So for the money I’ll keep looking for something better. They are no more then 2 stars.

Loved the stay. The room was spacious and made us not be all on top of each other like in a regular hotel room. A few of the room amenities were a little outdated but they served their purpose. The resort amenities were excellent, as well as the staff onsite that we had contact with.

The condo did not look like the pictures. It was clean but just average. The beds were hard. The place could use updates. The pool was dirty. Also the ad said there were 7 pools some inside and others outside. That was not the case. They were all spread out and several we did not have access to. We had to drive to the towers just to get beach access.

Very old and run down. Dirty hallways and guest area's. Very woody. Lots of debris on porch areas. Very buggy and snakey. Inside was run down. Linens were dirty. Very disappointed. Be aware of lots of hidden fees.

Over all, not the best experience. Walked into the lobby and encountered several guest who were angry and mad at the rooms not being clean and not giving people the rooms they booked. The resort overbooked and we’re splitting up families into different hotels. We got our room and discovered a roach on the floor when we walked in. Dried poop on the side of the toilet, broken tile, hair in the bed pillow. It was very disappointing. This used to be our go to place. We love the pools and the secluded atmosphere. The beach access is great, not a lot of people. But the rooms, please do better.

Upon arrival, opening the door, the first thing I noticed was a large cockroach crawling around the hall. Not exactly a great first impression. It eventually climbed up the couch I was sitting on and onto me. I did remove it with a small towel and threw it outside.

We stayed in two different villas (Lodge I & Lodge III West). Lodge I was clean, but dated. This room wasn’t as clean as expected. Under the beds we found thick dust, dead bugs and other people’s belongings which were left behind (like socks). The bathroom doors still lock using the push & turn method from the 70’s. Our villa in Lodge III West was infested with cockroaches of all sizes. From water bugs to German cockroaches, these bugs were in every room (living room, both bathrooms, the kitchen and bedrooms). While we watched tv a roach actually crawled onto one of my grandkids. It was just gross!!! We were unable to cook and eat in this room.

Horrible, villa has a mildew smell. Carpet was filthy, second bedroom had bedbugs as well as other insects we refuse to let our daughter sleep in it after we noticed from the first night, so she slept on sofa bed rest of vacation. They refuse to switch us out so Now we have to return home and fumigate our luggage and clothing. They have laundry outside of your villa that you have to pay for separately. We been traveling to myrtle beach yearly sometimes twice a year since 2005 and never had any ssues with our stays until we tried ocean creek for the first time, this is what we get for trying something new. Worst experience ever!

Beware of hidden charges! I booked our room through hotels.com and paid online at the time of booking only to be surprised with an additional $159 charge at check in for “resort fees”. The linens in the bath room were folded and displayed in a decorative manner and when I unfolded them for use I found that they were dirty. The toilet wobbled badly when we sat on it. Then we were attempted to leave our room the screen door was jammed and we had to call for maintenance to come fix it. I tried to call the front desk to report these issues and found that the phone in the room did not work. I called from my cell phone and reported all these issues and they said they would send maintenance to fix the door and that I was welcome to go to the front desk for new linens. If they were ok with using soiled linens, what else wasn’t cleaned properly? And the phone and door issues are definitely safety concerns. Overall a very disappointing stay for $361

We have stayed here several time and like the layout of the property. The main pool and convenience to Tanger and Barefoot Landing is our favorite about it. The condo we have stayed at leaves something to wish for.. the bed was way too soft, the Tv had some issues and while there is a kitchen area the counter place is literally non existent to prepare anything. Overall it is an OK unit

I was weary of all the bad reviews of this property… They were mostly about “bugs” and bad towels in the bathrooms. I’m from the south so I’m aware of what Palmetto bugs are - recommend you don’t stay here if they’re a problem for you - it’s to be expected. The towels did suck - we brought our own from home - not an issue. The problem I had was the fact we were told we’d get a QUEEN size bed for the bedroom and it was a FULL size bed. Mind you - we recently upgraded to a king bed and had a queen for 3 years prior. I called the front desk - lady did not say her name. I asked about the bed and if we were put into the wrong room - she says “it’s a queen bed” and I assured her it was not and it was too small to even be a queen. I asked if there was another room available with a queen bed. She just sat there silently - I said hello? She said “it’s a queen bed” so I ended the call. I even took a photo and measurements of the bed because I thought maybe I was crazy, but I wasn’t. We will not be back, mostly because the front desk rep tried to gaslight me into thinking I was crazy for knowing we didn’t get the queen bed as promised in the listing. The other staff (at check in/out) were super friendly.

We will not be back, mostly because the front desk rep tried to gaslight me into thinking I was crazy for knowing we didn’t get the queen bed as promised in the listing. Loved the stay. The room was spacious and made us not be all on top of each other like in a regular hotel room. A few of the room amenities were a little outdated but they served their purpose. The resort amenities were excellent, as well as the staff onsite that we had contact with.

It was good. I forget coming to the south means bugs. We found 3 dead roaches in our room when we got there. Our room keys got turned off twice in the 4 days we were there. The office is not conveniently located for when this happens. Minimal dining options on property, which makes it hard with a toddler. We ordered a 1bdrm with a king bed. They "upgraded" us to a 2bdrm with a queen in one and twins in the other. Fine, but unnecessary.

I had some issues during my stay. My tv did not work, i reported it and they could not fix it, nor did they offer to move me into another room. My tub was not clean, my dishes were not clean. This time around was Not good and ive left my name and number and the manager has NOT called me yet!

This could have been a 5 star rating but on arrival the a/c in our room was not working (temp outside was 95 degrees) We called every dept/extension we could until someone answered the phone. Within 20 minutes maintenance was there and fixed the problem. Dealing with this lost us 90 minutes on an already tight schedule. The ups for this were good though - we were across the street from Barefoot Landing. We were attending a concert so it was easy in & out and back to our condo. Will absolutely consider it again for other events. The unit was clean and comfortable. Building was quiet. The television situation was a challenge but we managed. The price was very reasonable considering the local hotel rates. Overall a great first visit except for the little glitch. I can't comment on the amenities as we did not use them. We will however go back to do just that.

I was having a hard time getting my keys to work for my room. The front desk agent made me 4 keys before I had to request for her to move me to a new room. This was Christmas Eve and due to this hold up I wasn't able to get to any stores before they closed. This was a disappointment for me and my family to be in the cold for 45 minutes. The room was clean but not updated and my main bedroom door wouldn't close and both bathrooms had issues with the toilet and the hallway bathroom from the room jammed. My family was lucky to find one restaurant still taking orders. Bad start to my vacation.

This property was very disappointing and not like the pictures made it out to be . There was an additional parking fee of $10 per night and 39. Dollars insurance, which we were not told about. There were several basic amenities that were not available. Coffee, water, salt & pepper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, Potholders. There was not a washer and dryer, and they left us just a few towels each for 4 days. The television did not work in the twin room, and there was no guide for the television channels. There were no Extra trash bags. These are easy things that owners could have done. It was a very disappointing experience. The place is old and needs updates, however it would have been okay for the price, if the basic amenities were available. I also texted the number to the owners on day 1,and there was no response. There also was no ocean view to dine in on the balcony, as per the advertisement The floors were dirty then there was no mop or broom. The plus side is the air conditioning Did work well. Booked a 1 bedroom condo for a night through Expedia. When we arrived they didn’t have any left and up charged us for a 2 bedroom. When I realized what they did the receptionist argued with me that we booked a 2 bedroom condo. After a half hour of arguing with her she gave me a refund. The floors in the condo were so dirty. Sand dirt everywhere. Never again will we stay at this place and I hope this review deters others from staying.

The property is well maintained. My villa was homey and nice. It was a walk to get to the ocean and could not see it from the villa. I probably would not stay there again because of it. They do have golf carts that pick you up to take you to the beach, if you catch it at the right time.

Great place that we found last minute as for another facility downtown was very nasty. Oyster. Reek worked for our whole team as for we had about 8 families that had to relocate. Amazing beach Bar and pools also great little community.

This resort Not family friendly. The 11 pm to 8 an quiet time became an issue because I have A 8, 9, and 10 year old. It's impossible to keep them quiet on vacation. The security guard came saying they were ready to kick us out because the kids were talking to loud I nearly lost it because it ruined our whole vacation with them bringing that bad energy to our family vacation.

We booked our 2 bedroom unit on Hotels.com. We believed this was an actual resort with continuity in the units and upkeep. We were quite surprised to find our unit decorated and furnished in the 90s and smelling stale and musty. It was relatively clean, and our stay was only a short two night weekend stay so we just stayed and made the best of it. The pools were great. The beach access was great. The location was great. But be forewarned that the unit you are assigned is most likely owned by an individual and not a corporate entity…the decor and upkeep may be minimal. We killed multiple roaches, the master bathroom toilet wobbled, and the beds were tiny and pretty shaky. There are also owner storage cabinets throughout and hodge podge dishes. If up-to-date decor and units matching the online pictures are of importance to you, you might want to look elsewhere.

The room that I stayed in was not the room that was on the website. Going through a third party site was not really what I wanted to do. The room had a bad smell and the ceiling fan had a noise that came from it all night. Didn't get any sleep. Would not recommend staying at this resort. Thank you
