The pool is out of order and that was the main reason I booked this hotel. No mention of it on the website. Didn’t hear about it until after the check in process was already done! I had 2 disappointed kids. We don’t get out of town very often, so when we get out, we go all in. Not this time though.

The room was clean and moderately comfortable, however the pool was dirty and the hot tub was empty and out of order (one of the main reasons for booking this hotel was that it has a pool and hot tub).

Everyday they had a wonderful variety of breakfast foods. The entire hotel was very well maintained and very clean.The room smelled very fresh and the bed was very comfortable. We stay at this location for a week. Everything was perfect every day. Very friendly staff.

Staff were somewhat friendly and attentive. Found 6-8 strands of long, blonde hair on the hard floor at entry. Used some wet paper to clean it up and based on the color, that floor hadn’t been mopped in a while. They need to vacuum common areas more frequently too. Shower had much mildew. Tiny towels, bed is okay but I don’t like how they use a scratchy coverlet to cover the duvet. Would prefer 2 flat sheets. Breakfast included but nothing to write home about. $20 to park at hotel in N Seattle seems excessive. Have stayed here 4-5 times and this will likely be our last. Wasn’t in the right frame of mind to complain so just sucked it up.

The pool had lots of Bandaids around it, right after it was closed for maintenance so it doesn’t seem they clean the area around the pool. The reception staff was rude and there was a barking dog for 6 hours on two days, they offered ear plugs but didn’t seem to have a policy that people couldn’t leave their dogs alone during the day like most dog friendly hotels. We felt bad for the dogs throat it was truly barking non stop for 6 hours panicking both days we were there.

Enjoyable stay. Friendly staff, easy check in/out, underground locked parking, clean room and bed was comfy. The downsides for us was we could not charge our phones or watches very well though; the ports were broken/loose and couldn't hold a charge. Not sure why, perhaps not enough power for newer phones. Breakfast was a bit mediocre quality. Otherwise pretty decent stay.

Great location, clean, safe. The "free".wi-fi was down and when we asked they said "it's been down for 2 days, we're looking into this". In the modern age this is unacceptable and the response we got was not polite.

We had an amazing stay at the Hampton Inn in Seattle/Northgate. Everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. The room and beds were comfortable, although another casual chair (in addition to the desk chair) would have been appreciated. There was also limited storage/drawer space for a lengthy visit, so we basically lived out of our suitcases. The room was cleaned or serviced on schedule and did not conflict with our plans. We especially appreciated the lobby and breakfast area, where we gathered often for games and conversation with family from the Seattle area. The ladies in charge of replenishing the daily breakfast area were very friendly and kept the buffet area immaculate. We also enjoyed the pool and fitness room. We would highly recommend this Hampton for anyone visiting Seattle, as the Light Rail system is only a 10-minute walk and accessible to most Seattle points of interest.

The hotel could have been good, but for the price, it was below its standard: I was afraid a piece of the bathroom ceiling would come down on my head, which was exacerbated by the incessant stomping of the persons above my room. Again, for how much I paid, I would expect a little better insulation.

The only issue i had was with the climate control. The ac is limited to only kick on once the temp hits a certain level. Our room was too warm and AC wouldn't kick in because the thermostat in room was reading 'below' the threshold (and it clearly was not that temp or we wouldn'thave been sweating). This was discovered after returning to our room past midnight and it was such a hassel to get sorted out with exhausted guests.

Came to Seattle for a wedding. Stayed elsewhere the first night and was a nightmare and felt completely unsafe. Next day immediately, came here and felt so welcome by Bernadette and Jake. They were fantastic and were a blessing and helped make us feel so much safer in our new home for weekend. This experience has made me a Hilton member for life now!

The hotel is nice but the room was frigid and it took us over 2 hours to get any help to fix the problem. This only happened at 11:30 pm and we hoped to get to sleep by 10 because we had an early event in the morning. We tried calling the front desk 3 xs but no answer. My husband went down twice to ask for help. The problem persisted after the first time, so a tech finally came at 11:30 and reprogrammed the thermostat. I was in bed with two blankets, a sweater and a scarf wrapped around my neck and head. Too exhausted today to forget about this lack of service.

On the 29th the desk clerk on evening shift blocked my guests ( boyfriend) access card. She stated hls name was not registered to the room. In front of a lobby full of guests she stated she did not know if i wanted him in the room. She never contacted me phone or email to say there was a problem. When we checked everything was fine. She showed up on the fourth day and embarrassed us and belittled us. I don,t want to run into to her again. I didn,t get her name. She is an older blond woman with braces.

Second time staying there and second time same front desk associate made a mistake that effected my stay. First occurrence was the shuttle service to Seattle Children’s which became unavailable the morning I needed it. She failed to inform me until 20 minutes before I was due to leave and was told to call the hospital to figure out a ride. Second occurrence was we needed to extend our stay a night and was told to come down to the front in the AM to reactivate our keys. Upon getting to the front a different front desk associate was there and informed us they were fully booked and there were no notes on our reservation saying we needed to extend. This resulted in us needing to scramble to pack our belongings before heading to the hospital for the day and to find a different accommodation. Overall the hotel is nice and we love that there is complimentary breakfast. Our only issue was with this certain associate

The young man checking us in was very surly. He didn’t speak English well and we had trouble understanding him. Not sure if that’s why he treated us so rudely. No warm greeting or smile. We have stayed at this location many times and we were always greeting so warmly.

The hotel is a super short walk to Northgate station, conveniently close to the mall. Offers secured parking. Nancy at front desk was super helpful and friendly, an excellent customer service representative. Connie was also very professional over the phone.

Asked me to rate my stay after my first night with a personalized message from the front desk. Offered a room reset during my 2-day stay. I thought this amenity completely disappeared after Covid, but to my pleasant surprise this hotel still offers cleaning services during short stays as well! The staff was so kind, they even kept the breakfast bar open a little past 10am for late risers like me during vacation. The hospitality was so outstanding that I had to take this experience and write this review, which I typically never do unless my socks are blown off. This place gets top marks, and the drive to/from Downtown is not even a sacrifice when the customer experience is that good. Great price, great room layout, great parking system, great window view facing the passing cars. This place truly sets the standard.

My friends and I loved our stay at this property! The breakfast was delicious & our room was comfortable. Our only problem was with the man at the front desk. We had issues checking in (after driving 7 hours) and he entirely lacked sympathy, almost coming across as though he was mocking us. We of course understand when a business cannot go against their policies to help someone, but he almost seemed amused at our struggle. My friends both mentioned feeling like they were being subtly bullied by a high schooler, which is obviously not the expectation or standard. Then, when we came back in to check in (after sorting out what we had to), he was making fun of us in a different language with a customer. He very obviously pointed at us, said something, and then giggled while they both looked at us. Every other staff member was outstanding and incredibly kind, hence the 2 stars instead of 1, and I expected the same friendliness and character from someone working a position like front desk. The rest of our stay was great, but I’d prefer to not be patronized by someone whose job is quite literally to make us feel welcome.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. We stayed here last year and decided to stay again. It’s within walking distance to the light rail and to shopping/dining.

They were able to accommodate an early check in which was awesome. The staff were very attentive. Our room was very comfortable, which helped with the lack of a view (which we understand can’t be avoided sometimes and we were hardly in our room). Also, the fact that it was so close and convenient to the Lite Rail for an airport transfer was excellent. We will be back!

Perfect location to be outside the husle and busle of the city but so close that with the link you can be down town exploring in under 20 minutes.

All was fine, but a little soulless. Clean, welcoming, comfortable etc But a cookie cutter hotel with no character. A little noisy at the front with the trains and interstate. A good place for doing things from. Good for Seattle, if you have a car.

The walk to Northgate Link was less than 10 minutes. Felt safe outside the hotel. Locked parking garage, clean facility, modern rooms, great service.

Really convenient to UW and the airport on the Link. We didn't have a car so it was a perfect location. I hope there are a few more dining options in the area soon. Looks like new developments are on their way. Breakfast is nothing special but better than nothing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of towels! The breakfast buffet was a fantastic perk, as we had to leave fairly early in the morning and having breakfast on site helped us stay on time. Would definitely stay here again.

Everyday they had a wonderful variety of breakfast foods. The entire hotel was very well maintained and very clean.The room smelled very fresh and the bed was very comfortable. We stay at this location for a week. Everything was perfect every day. Very friendly staff.

Staff were somewhat friendly and attentive. Found 6-8 strands of long, blonde hair on the hard floor at entry. Used some wet paper to clean it up and based on the color, that floor hadn’t been mopped in a while. They need to vacuum common areas more frequently too. Shower had much mildew. Tiny towels, bed is okay but I don’t like how they use a scratchy coverlet to cover the duvet. Would prefer 2 flat sheets. Breakfast included but nothing to write home about. $20 to park at hotel in N Seattle seems excessive. Have stayed here 4-5 times and this will likely be our last. Wasn’t in the right frame of mind to complain so just sucked it up.

The pool and hot tub were both in working order and very pleasant. The room was fine but was missing the tv remote, and it could use another chair for the table. You also need another mirror in the room not located in the bathroom. Very close to the light rail which was very convenient. Quietest hotel I've been in. The breakfast was good, but you need more kitchen staff to keep up with demand. Ran out of coffee, baked goods, and fruit. There was one sad, squishy banana left on the banana plate. The oatmeal and other hot food were both good. Would recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel overall was fine. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and one of the the front desk clerks was friendly. I travel to Seattle about 8 times a year and do have specific preferences in where I stay. This was just less than excellent. There was no coffee available in the lobby until the breakfast room opened, and there is no place to get coffee within walking distance. Regarding breakfast: it isn’t available until 7 am, so we were unable to take advantage of that. Although it’s listed on their website, when you pay so much for a just ok hotel you shouldn’t have to pay to park. It’s standard in downtown hotels, but it’s not something you see too often outside of downtown areas like this location. This place is just a little overpriced for what you get.
