The manager was very nice and his suggestion for dinner was spot on, Kingsley Inn was the perfect place for our dinner. The room was great. We stayed in the deluxe suite and were very happy with our accommodations. They are pet friendly as well which made it perfect for us. The room was clean and a so nice to come back to relax in after a hard day of moving. Most definitely recommend it.

The manager was very nice and his suggestion for dinner was spot on, Kingsley Inn was the perfect place for our dinner. The room was great. We stayed in the deluxe suite and were very happy with our accommodations. They are pet friendly as well which made it perfect for us. The room was clean and a so nice to come back to relax in after a hard day of moving. Most definitely recommend it.

It was nice but the beds weren't comfortable they were entirely too soft so I slept on the couch. The staff were nice and the place was nice. I would come here again and they're pet friendly.

Very convenient and nice place to stay with our 2 medium sized dogs for two nights. Location was ideal as we attended the Iceman Cometh mountain bike race, 20 minutes from the start and finish. Dropped review to 4 stars only because the beds were very hard, not plush at all. Other than that, great stay.

Would not stay there again. The front desk person was lovely, and the bathroom and TV were nice; all else is beyond dirty, and needing upgrading. Spent way too much money for the facility. There is no point in having a kitchenette if everything is too dirty to use. We had to leave our assigned room due to refrigerator malfunction, which we had to move outside to defrost. Next room only slightly better. Beds were unreasonable for such an expensive place. There was no maid service for 4 days. We took our trash to the office..

We stayed for 1 night after visiting Elk Rapids. The location was convenient, the price right, it was clean except for the bathroom sink had some stains. I prefer a firm not a foam mattress. Took us awhile to figure out the light switch was not for an outside light but rather for the microwave! But when we arrived we spent about 5 sec at the desk picking up our key...easy peasy!

Clean rooms, close to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The staff is very responsive to any issues and is very friendly and helpful. They also leave you a little snack bag on the check-in counter which is very thoughtful:) This is my sister and I's favorite place to stay when we are in the area!

The room was super clean and had everything that I needed. There was an unfortunate stain in the shower, I think from using iron-rich well water, but it didn't bother me.

I was pleasantly surprised - clean and well maintained. Not a 4-star hotel but was nice. I would definitely stay there again!

The officee was clean and inviting. The manager was so nice. It was the biggest bathroom I have ever seen in a place before. Very quaint. I will recommend to anyone and would stay there again definitely. The beds were comfortable too.

Loved the kitchenette! It was also stocked with pots and pans, and silverware, everything we needed if we were staying for a while! Asha there was a huge bathroom!!

The rooms were renovated but still or somewhat dated. Our room was a mini suite of sorts and had a mini kitchen. Would have been good for a small family since it offered two queen beds and a living area with couch and chairs and table. Was not as close to Traverse City as advertised on Expedia. The manager was as nice as could be and very friendly. She even provides snacks and beverages in the office. It was fine for one night and served our purposes well.

This is a vintage motel in rural Michigan a few miles south of Traverse City that has recently been revamped. Very affordable. The suite we rented had a bedroom, tv room, bathroom, and kitchenette (complete with 2 burner stove, sink, and small refrigerator). Equipped with basic dishwater, and a coffee pot and coffee pod supplied for am. WiFi of course and web connected tv. This was a serendipitous experience, highly recommend if you’re up that way

Couldn't have been happier with our stay. Way better than your average hotel room, with friendly staff and thoughtful accommodations. Our only complaint would be that the hairdryer didn't work, and that the staff weren't quite as present as we would have liked, but were still accessible via phone/text. Snacks were always on hand in the office, and there was no hesitation to meet our needs or offer suggestions for where to eat (the K and I Inn quickly became our crew's favorite place by far). All in all, we would definitely stay at the Kingsley Suites again if ever staying in the Traverse City area.

The property is old needs a lot of updates. There is no one in the lobby to help you. Went to get a cup of coffee in the morning there was cold coffee left over from the day before. Would not recommend x Mm

The room was clean and a so nice to come back to relax in after a hard day of moving. Most definitely recommend it.

Couldn't have been happier with our stay. Way better than your average hotel room, with friendly staff and thoughtful accommodations. Our only complaint would be that the hairdryer didn't work, and that the staff weren't quite as present as we would have liked, but were still accessible via phone/text. Snacks were always on hand in the office, and there was no hesitation to meet our needs or offer suggestions for where to eat (the K and I Inn quickly became our crew's favorite place by far). All in all, we would definitely stay at the Kingsley Suites again if ever staying in the Traverse City area.

Clean rooms, close to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The staff is very responsive to any issues and is very friendly and helpful. They also leave you a little snack bag on the check-in counter which is very thoughtful:) This is my sister and I's favorite place to stay when we are in the area!

The property is old needs a lot of updates. There is no one in the lobby to help you. Went to get a cup of coffee in the morning there was cold coffee left over from the day before. Would not recommend x Mm

The rooms were renovated but still or somewhat dated. Our room was a mini suite of sorts and had a mini kitchen. Would have been good for a small family since it offered two queen beds and a living area with couch and chairs and table. Was not as close to Traverse City as advertised on Expedia. The manager was as nice as could be and very friendly. She even provides snacks and beverages in the office. It was fine for one night and served our purposes well.

I had minimal interaction with staff. My keys were in an envelope on the desk and nobody was there despite being in the stated business hours. Anybody could have picked the keys up. They didn’t even scan my drivers license. There was no internal latch for the hotel room door, and no do not disturb available. Someone tried to come inside with the key in the morning thinking we were vacating, but we had booked two nights. We had to scramble to tell them we weren’t set to leave that day. Cleanliness was subpar. I’ve paid a lot less for significantly nicer hotels

There were a few things we enjoyed about this property, dog friendly, everything on ground level & the quite were all big pluses. But there was absolutely no body on site from the hotel, the signs stated hours that the office personnel would be there, but no one was ever there. I had to text the manager for clean towels & was told to get them myself out of the storage cabinet. We stayed 4 nights & not once did house keeping come in & straighten, clean or bring fresh towels. Also for some reason the hot water smelled like fish, so every time we took a shower or used hot water in the sink our room smelled like someone had cleaned fish in there. It was awful!

Kitchenette was great, beds were comfortable Was clean , the only draw back was the toilet was so low it was hard for my husband to get off it. Definitely stay there again
