The food options were great, plenty of things to do in the area. We were able to take a 10 minute walk to the downtown area. The only down side was the two days we were there the pool was filled with little kids (have kids and love them very much) just thought it would be a calmer pool experience at the roost. But honestly there’s no complaints. They have great rooms and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Pool comment aside I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Oh and the trees and nature at and around the roost were one of the best parts about this place.

Our stay at The Roost in Ocean Springs was just as charming as the quaint and welcoming town of Ocean Springs itself. Nestled in groves of centuries old live oak trees, The Roost Boutique Hotel, provides all of the amenities you would expect in a luxurious getaway stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the many comfortable sitting areas on the porches, patios, balconies, and even the pergola in the private pool area surrounded by a lush garden. Additionally, our room was well appointed in every detail. Lastly, the close location to the Ocean Springs historic shopping district and food eateries made for a perfect short stay to celebrate my birthday! Many thanks to The Roost for paying attention to details that make special occasions truly special!!

I had an amazing time at The Roost. From the minute I stepped on grounds, I felt welcomed. The room was beautifully decorated and clean, staff were all nice and welcoming, and the pool area was so serene. All of the decor was so beautiful and detail oriented. Friendly staff! The check in process was easy and Hirim at the front desk was amazing!!! The bartender was great and definitely ask about the secret wall!!! The room was perfect… large room and beds are so comfy! Having a fridge and microwave was a great convenience! Highly recommend!

Very unique Resort with lots of character. Each room brings in a special flare. Great pool and outdoor fireplace too. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

Loved the property. Beautiful grounds. Perfectly warm plunge pool, lovely fireplace to sit and enjoy the outside space. Right down the road from the beach so you could walk along the beach in the morning. They observe a quiet time from 9 am-9 pm. Beautiful room. Extra towels. We would love to visit again!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very convenient to everything in Ocean Springs. A short, walk or drive to shopping and restaurants. We walked to breakfast. Unfortunately, we had no heat during our stay. A couple of people, including the bartender, were sent to help, but there was no resolution. Thankfully, it was not terribly cold. Also, the Wi-Fi login we were given was not available in our room. But these minor inconveniences will not keep us from coming back.

The weather was cold, the room was 60 degrees. The heating unit would not raise the temperature more then 2 degrees. Our entire stay was in a 62 degree room. I complained and was told an electric heater would be furnished but was not. I would not return and am considering sharing my disappointment on social media.

We had an amazing time at The Roost. The staff are phenomenally helpful; the property is gorgeous and it is in a wonderful neighborhood close to town. We had a wonderful time and I can’t wait to return.

Great property. We are fans! My wife and I were able to walk to both the beach (amazing sunset) and to dinner in town; it seemed equidistant to both. Just several blocks to each - very doable.

The food options were great, plenty of things to do in the area. We were able to take a 10 minute walk to the downtown area. The only down side was the two days we were there the pool was filled with little kids (have kids and love them very much) just thought it would be a calmer pool experience at the roost. But honestly there’s no complaints. They have great rooms and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Pool comment aside I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Oh and the trees and nature at and around the roost were one of the best parts about this place.

Our stay at The Roost in Ocean Springs was just as charming as the quaint and welcoming town of Ocean Springs itself. Nestled in groves of centuries old live oak trees, The Roost Boutique Hotel, provides all of the amenities you would expect in a luxurious getaway stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the many comfortable sitting areas on the porches, patios, balconies, and even the pergola in the private pool area surrounded by a lush garden. Additionally, our room was well appointed in every detail. Lastly, the close location to the Ocean Springs historic shopping district and food eateries made for a perfect short stay to celebrate my birthday! Many thanks to The Roost for paying attention to details that make special occasions truly special!!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very convenient to everything in Ocean Springs. A short, walk or drive to shopping and restaurants. We walked to breakfast. Unfortunately, we had no heat during our stay. A couple of people, including the bartender, were sent to help, but there was no resolution. Thankfully, it was not terribly cold. Also, the Wi-Fi login we were given was not available in our room. But these minor inconveniences will not keep us from coming back.

Great property. We are fans! My wife and I were able to walk to both the beach (amazing sunset) and to dinner in town; it seemed equidistant to both. Just several blocks to each - very doable.

Location was great. Walking distance to shops and dining. Wouldnt do it in heels though. Walking distance to long beach. Must drive to east beach. The train will not be heard if you have a sound machine for white noise. Can't speak to it without it. Overall the property is quite! Nice escape away from the hussle Property was beauitful. Its small boutique. The pool is small but plenty of seating. They didnt have any pool towels for use when we arrived (3pm) but they did get us checked in early. There is a restaurant on property Maringouin. We didnt get to try it but the convenience is nice. We booked the islander room. It needs some serious TLC. Not what I was expecting. We ended up moving to a different room because the ac didnt work. That was nice that they made accommodations for us so late. Our roomed ended up being the water lily. Loved it much more than the islander. It had more room, the front porch was huge and overall it just felt more southern! Each room has a coffee bar, refrigerator and plenty of storage. Robes for use, extra towels, iron and more. The motorcycles were the only thing we could hear from the street overnight with sound machine on. Street directly in front of waterlily room. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. Roku TV. Golf carts are available for rent @ 150 for 24hrs. The staff is extremely flexible so asking for a lte check out and an extra hr on the cart was no big deal! They were happy to accommodate dfinitely stay here again.
