Motel 6 Mesa, AZ - Downtown

There washing machine don't work and they don't refund the 3$ I put in the machine and get a snack from there vending machine and it didn't drop

Bathroom door didn't close. Ice machine never worked and was told it would be fixed. Swimming pool covered over with dirt

there is enough parking and clean rooms and the staff was wonderful and nice

Staff was nice. Rooms fairly clean. Right nest to the light rail. Seems to have permanent residents who are loud. Over all safe place to sleep for a night.

Everything was broken… fridge didn’t work, said they have anymore to replace.. laundry room didn’t work, dresser drawers were missing as well as lamp shades. No water pressure couldn’t rinse

Just was ok room no cupss or coffeemaker in the room the bathtowels were so small the bed was so high to get into plus no elevator

Extend-A-Suites of Mesa AZ is fine if you need a motel for the night. Extend-A-Suites Mesa is not recommended for a multi-day stay. It's in east mesa with plenty of homeless people roaming around and hanging out day and night in parking lots, Mcdonald's, and public bus shelters. I needed to travel to AZ for a funeral and it was March. Spring training for MLB in AZ. Extend-A-Suites Mesa offers an affordable option if your motel/hotel budget is limited and your traveling to AZ in March. Investment in the property to upgrade the room mattresses, pillows and room chairs is definitely needed. My room contained a smelly old office chair that needed to be replaced. My room also contained a microwave and a full size fridge. Room phone is disconnected. Better have a cell phone. They did have a person patrolling the property in the evening. There is coffee in the motel office for the motel guests and an outdoor vending machine for soda. The Valley Metro train is nearby but mostly the homeless use it.

Old hotel needs updating drastically. Ice machine not working, questionable people roaming around the property. Security lock not functioning. Nonsmoking room smelled like smoke.

Smelled like a walk in ash tray. Holes in the walls. Staines on the shower. Cigarette burns on the sheets. Floor and shower had water damage. Had bad pillows and only left 1 per person and when asked for more, none were given. No extra toilet paper. Was told refunds were not given. Would not ever stay here again. Worst experience ive ever had.

I would not recommend this place at all the lighting on the building poor no light at all! The floor was dirty and we found dead cockroaches on the floor under the beds! And one of the mornings we found bed bugs! So no I pass on staying here again!

Morning staff was pleasant. Night staff was downright rude, upon arrival our room was dirty and several aspects of the room (such as the bathroom toilet paper holder & door handle) were broken, the door didn’t properly close, shower water was cold, and there were holes in the wall that bugs came out of. When asking front desk night staff for more towels on day 5 of our stay, they were rude and didn’t give us towels or even offer to get them for us later. Disappointing. Our room wasn’t checked on once during our stay and there was no cleaning done, no trash changed, and no new toilet paper/ towels. :(

The floor was dirty! Walls were a little dirty and you can hear everything between the rooms.

There were a lot of bugs in the room (ants, beetles, etc). Small holes and poorly patched larger holes in the walls may have been their entry points. Water didn’t get very warm. There were holes in the blankets and sheets and stains on the towels. Police showed up at the hotel at least 3 times that I saw. They must use the same cleaning supplies as the hospital I work at because the place kind of smelled like the psych ward there, which was odd. However! The front desk staff were very nice. It was conveniently located by the rail, which I utilized for transit while there. It was inexpensive. I was gone most of the day every day so I didn’t interact with many other people around the property. Nothing bad happened to me or my things. Just not a very good looking place, maybe attracts some seedy characters due to how inexpensive it is, and I hate bugs.

That’s place was terrible it had lots of cigarettes burn and hair all over the sheets and Roaches it was all ghetto all the frame in room were all tagged out. I didn’t stay there I ask for my refund but I think I never got it back.

The room was not clean / floor was dirty. Had to wash our feet before we could put our shoe on. Found bugs in the bed (bed bugs) food in the micro ways found a bottle in the freezer. Refrigerator was dirty, tub was not clean had dog track in and around the sides.

Horrible experience. The first room had mold in the shower, missing floor tiles I the bathroom and roaches. The second room had 2 holes punched into the wall and by the time we got to the 3rd room we decided to leave and go somewhere else. The number of drugs happening on property were ridiculous and the rooms smelled like industrial cleaner. By far the worst stay I have ever had in Mesa.

When we arrived for check in, it took them an hour to even find a room and “clean it.” But the room we got, which he verified we wanted a non smoking room and we said we did, reeked of smoke. Bad enough that we went and bought febreeze. There were stains all over the couch and the bedding. The bathroom was falling apart (cracks in the bathtub that my husband nearly cut his foot on), skid marks in the toilet along with pubic hair in the toilet. The towels we got were meant to be white but one of them had stained black all over it. The mini fridge had melted popsicles in it, the floor was so grimy I stopped walking inside the room without my shoes because they were turning black and I could feel all the dirt and debris on it. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Would rather in a tent on the side of the road than stay here again.

The bed was comfortable as were the chairs in the room. However, I was not happy with the fact that the property had no ice machine. Also, it was a bit of a challenge opening my room door. The instructions on my room card did not match what I had to do to get the door opened. Also, one of the lamps in the room was missing a light bulb. Also, the minifridge in the room was running nonstop so I had to unplug it to get enough quiet in my room to sleep. I did plug it back in the next morning before I left. Being near the front of the property allowed me to hear the light rail trains going past which was an annoyance when I was trying to sleep.

The lock didn't work, and rather than switch rooms, the overnight attendant just said to come ask to be let in whenever I needed. Lol. I didn't plan to leave anyway. Then, the upstairs must have left the water on in the bathroom, because it was leaking down the bathroom walls and the front room/bathroom wall as well. Still ... Didn't bother me. Id go back. It's cheap af

Room was subpar. Outdated Furniture. Arms rests on chairs were cemented with dirt and grime. Walls were dirty with scrapes and marks. Bed springs was so old that it caved in the middle when you slept in it. Would not stay again.

Check in was anything but easy, go through the typical check in process, and get to the room. The key card refuses to work, turns out the rooms door was supposed to be repaired because the key card reader was damaged (they say) Have to get checked into another room, assuming that there would be no more problems. If only that were true. Tried to take a shower no hot water, and the shower fixture won’t shut off unles you twist the handle in a safe like combination to hopefully shut it off. It took quit a few attempts. Then after a rather annoying shower experience while trying to sleep only to be woken up by someone trying to break in, thankfully the security lock didn’t fall off. What seemed to be some belligerent crackhead, turned out to be someone they rented my room out to at 3 in the morning. Security then shows up banging on the door about to remove me. And I again for a third time attempt to check in to a room that I paid for already. With a half enthusiastic sorry, and zero attempt to try and make things right, I am told the “system can do anything” I am wide awake with no sleep trying to relax in a room that I am now aware of all the noises of everything outside the door waiting for the next this to screw up. Oh and then they wanted to get a hundred dollar “deposit” on my credit card again. Don’t ever stay here! Even as a last resort.

Every time I left the property when I returned I had to get a new electronic key. Unacceptable. After returning late one night there was a puddle of water in the middle of the floor. Small about the size of a dinner plate. No obvious signs of how it got there.

The staff we interacted with were professional enough. The whole hotel, however, is not in good condition. There are paint chips missing from the walls, and stains as well. The sink was very slow to drain, and had a bit of leaking. The toilet would keep running after flushing. The TV needs to manually be switched to HDMI to use the remote and cable every time it's turned on. There is only one light in the room, and it provides very little light. The furniture is chipped and missing veneer. The counter is separating from itself. And the upholstered chair sat in the corner was incredibly stained and dirty.

The heater for the showers need to be fixed. Other than that it was a great stay

I had a late check in. The lady that took my phone call that morning was super sweet, I believe her name was Kathy, and she went ahead and checked me in for our stay, but only stated she’d charge my card (which is totally fine!). When we arrived at 1030 pm, the lady at the front desk was very dismissive of me, laughed in my face and rolled her eyes when she couldn’t find my name for check in. I let her know I had talked to someone earlier that morning and she already charged my card for our stay since we would be late, and that we went through a third party website. I offered to give her the confirmation number, and the lady rolled her eyes and scoffed saying “we can try but I’m telling you you’re not in here”. Then proceeded to turn her incoming list around on her tablet to show me I wasn’t on there, scrolling on it and raising her voice saying I’m not in there, blaming me for her not being able to find my name, like I know how to do her job? She snapped the computer monitor around and lo and behold, my name was on there already checked in (which was unbeknownst to me), then she said “you could have just told me that” and laughed in my face again. I understand people have bad nights, but come on. If you don’t like working with the public then don’t.

Stayed for 5 nights. Housekeeping never entered my room for fresh towels, linens or toiletries.

When I showed up to check-in, I was told the did not have my reservation and "I don't know what to tell you." I had my reservation confirmation in hand. I asked to just be checked in directly, and not thru Expedia and was told they were sold out. I gave up and went to the car to figure out what to do with my family at 10:30 at night. It wasn't until a friend who was also staying at the same hotel came down and pushed for room that they magically found one.

The stay was ok. And very friendly frontdesk service. BUT NO ROOM SERVICE FOR THE WHOLE 13 DAYS.

The staff was amazing very welcoming. Also I liked how quiet it was there it was also nice that the light rail was right there.

The last room we stayed in was not that great. The luggage rack on the wall was hanging down and held with just one screw. The floors were not that clean, if you walked on the floor you would have black on the bottom of your feet. The front desk person were amazing and made our stay pleasant.

It was quiet and I didn't require much for this particular stay so dispute the lack of food, convince, delivery, the location worked in my favor being on the light rail Metro bus route.

This property is basically a homeless shelter that still rents rooms. I was in the parking lot and someone approached me that appeared homeless but said he was hotel security and wanted to know if I was staying at the hotel. In the morning I watched people leaving towing there belongings behind them down the street. This place needed a remodel 20 years ago.

It's next to a park, and the light rail is within walking distance.

It was all nice enough, but kind of run down. Lots of parking and very quiet. Not fancy. The location was great if you are headed to Organ Stop Pizza (Great pizza and the GREATEST organ music)

We checked into our room and stayed for less than 5 minutes!!! After checking in with the front desk and driving around the building to our room number, we were stared down by 3 different people looking at us as if we were bait waiting to get robbed!! once in the room, it was disgusting, filthy with stains on the bed and in the bathroom!! very uncomfortable and not a safe feeling at all!! immediately checked out and did not stay!! if you want to get robbed, go ahead and stay here. thanks but no thanks

Much farther from Mesa airport than expected. Kind of rundown property and area.

This is an older property hotel. Did not have hot water the first night of my stay in my original room; Staff was very helpful in relocating me to another room that hot water - however the toilet commode was not securely fastened to the floor; there was a hole in the bathroom door, there was black mold along the caulking in the shower/tub area, no coffee makers in any of the room, and no stopper in the sink. The hotel did not offer a continental breakfast - only coffee.

This is a minimalistic motel experience. The bed was clean and comfortable and there was a microwave and fridge. But outside there was a light with a short that blinked all night- never got fixed in three days even though I asked. No plug for tub. Shower water was a trickle. TV would not turn on and no help from the front desk. No coffee pot in room and coffee in the lobby was muddy. No table, chair or desk in room so only place to sit was on bed. No cleaning service during stay.
