Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Mobile Saraland

I love it has a pool but the latch is hard to do . It’s pretty clean but don’t stay close to the office .

Property was great! Did not like that there was no transportation to or from the Mobile airport.

Nice and clean rooms! Staff waa great and helpful. Be mindful of parking because the parking lot is full to the max.

My expectations were average. I expected a clean room and moderate service. I received a semi clean room that had no tissues, a broken fridge and broken microwave, no refresh the next day with new towels and fresh coffee packs for the room. I requested maid service the following day and still received nothing. They did not even come in and take out the trash.

I booked a 2 bed standard and even left a message stating we would arrive after midnight. Upon check in, the desk person said they over sold my room( which I booked and paid for days in advance) then says she was upgrading me to a room with a king and pull out. Which was ok with me however she then tells me for some reason I still owe 2$, strange but whatever I’m exhausted at that point from driving 8 hrs and just want to go to my room it’s only 2$. Once we get to our room we realize pulling out the sofa it is FILTHY! There were crumbs and sticky food all over the cushions, plastic cutlery left behind from the last guest stuck between the cushions, soda lids, and I am pretty sure the bedding wasn’t changed but can’t really prove it except for the strands of hair. I didn’t feel like arguing with the front desk about it because she seemed like she wouldn’t have made any difference with her apathetic attitude and she said the room she gave us was all that was left, so we roughed it. My husband spoke with the morning front desk but no manager was on duty since it was early Sunday. Maybe it was a one off situation but I am not chancing this place again, on the way back we booked different accommodations.

We checked in and one of the beds wasn’t made. The pillows were on the other bed and did not have pillow cases on them - we had to put them on the pillows. While in the shower, I discovered the shampoo and conditioner were both empty. My husband had to call the front desk to ask for more.

We had two rooms, in one room the shower had hair in it and the drain stopper appeared broken. In the floor of the other room were the left behind socks of a previous guest. The bed sheets were stained yellow right in the area where it'd be urine or other bodily fluid. We couldn't get the solid curtains over the windows, just sheer ones, so the bright light from the truck stop next door came through all night. We were there for an overnight; sadly breakfast didn't start until 7:00 am and that's later than we like to get on the road for trips. Would not stay again due to cleanliness concerns.

Room was disgusting. There were stains on the shower door and a floss toothpick from the previous guests near the bed. Someone spilled a soda on the elevator the night we arrived and it had still not been mopped the next morning at 9:00!

This is our go to location when traveling to Florida. The hotel is in an excellent location. It’s clean and always has the nicest staff. Breakfast variety is wonderful. We love staying here and hope to return next time we are in the area.

Pleasant stay for a business trip. Convenient to shopping and a few restaurants. Very nice staff, clean rooms, easy check in/out. The a/c unit was noisy and the bed a little firm for my liking. Otherwise, it was comfortable and in good shape.

We stayed only one nigth. After we did the check-in and enter into the room, the AC was noisy. Disturbing noisy. I went back to the front desk and the first answer from the staff member was: "Well, our AC are noisy and we do not have other double room.." At that time I understood that spending more time in front of her would be a waste of time. Shameful

At checkin I was told that I didn’t have a reservation. The service person was patronizing and suggested that I had confused two hotels next to each other. Thankfully I saved the reservation confirmation on the phone and could prove that I did, in fact, have a reservation at this hotel. Inside the room, the tiles in the bathroom were so loose that my foot was pinched when I walked on it barefoot.

The property is new, but looks to have been finished in a hurry. A piece of tile was already coming up in the bathroom and the hot water went out the night we checked in and didn't get fixed until later the next morning.

The front counter customer service was exceptional.

Ginger and Vicki were very friendly and the most observant people I've ever met in a service industry like a motel. They noticed my ring, left to me by my father, and commented on its beauty. More than that, they noticed it was fitting a little loosely on my finger, and gave me advice so I could avoid losing it! Over the last several months I've lost 30 pounds and it does fit more loosely than in the past. Just great people, going above and beyond to serve customers like me.

The hotel staff was excellent, friendly, and super kind. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was excellent. Particularly the lady who served the breakfast. She is, I believe, one of the nicest people we have ever met!

Clean and the staff did make sure I got an ADA shower. Great stay but they charged my card for an extra $111 and told me "if it don't fall off your account in 3 to 5 days, give us a call back'.

Convenient to I-65. Hot breakfast. Friendly staff. Room was spacious. The property is not in pristine condition, but it was nice overall. Check-in and check-out were smooth.

The staff was super friendly and the property was very clean. This location is close to a truck stop and was very noisy until late at night. I suggest staying on the even number rooms as the odds are too close to the highway and the QT truck stop.

The breakfast menu had several choices to choose from. Batter prepared waffles, eggs and various cereals. Coffee and several juices were also provided. Very tasty.

The property was nice. A few things didn’t work, but overall it was fine for 1 night! The best thing about our stay was the fabulous breakfast attendant, Ms. Vicki!

Everything was good except the complimentary breakfast. Bacon was so thin you could see through it. Not much flavor either. Breakfast sandwich was yuck. Those are things you buy so not directly on Fairfield.

Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Lovely, clean and quiet rooms allowed for a great night sleep during our pitstop. Breakfast was great with many options and friendly staff.

The rooms were not ready until after 4 pm. The breakfast was not prepared on time. It was not even fully ready by 8 am. There was not much of a "healthy" selection. The oatmeal was undercooked. The hotel was PACKED as it was graduation weekend and people had schedules to keep. There was one lady working the kitchen area and she could hardly walk. It was sad. One sugestion is when a busy weekend is on the schedule hire more help for the kitchen.
