Probably the nicest model I've stayed at. Super clean, lots of flower gardens, a great pool. The rooms are all redone and are great. Totally awesome place. The family who own this are friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend it. Location was convenient to a great old fashion pizza restaurant.

This is such a delightful Inn run by lovely people. Is it a 5 star hotel? No. Was it built in the 70s? Probably. Nonetheless, the pool is crystal clear. The landscaping is gorgeous (The gentleman does it all himself!) Its close to a beautiful state park. The owners couldnt be more friendly. I've never slept better in a hotel.

Parking is good and outside the door. It's quiet. It's a one-story building. Area seems safe. Not handicap accessible. Large step up into the room. Stairs up into the front office from both entrances. Bathroom is minuscule and shabby, the commode is old and so low to the ground that it is dangerous for a mobility impaired person. The bathroom light is the same switch as the vent fan and it makes a racket when you turn it on. The heat worked well, the carpet looks relatively new. With two beds in the small room, the bathroom door opened up against one of the beds. I found the mattress to be hard and uncomfortable. I would not recommend. I'm sure there's better options in the area for the price.

This has to be the cleanest room we have stayed in a long time! Immaculate. And the owners are welcoming and so nice. It’s an old wayside motel that needs some TLC on the outside but I’m glad that didn’t deter us. The beds were comfortable and it’s located centrally in Front Royal. A treasure for sure!

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and it was a huge disappointment. The room was not clean, had a strong musty odor, and smelled like moisture and mold. It was also very noisy. It felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming from the moment I walked in. The air quality was so bad I had trouble sleeping, and everything just felt damp and sticky. For the price I paid, I expected at least basic cleanliness and comfort—but this hotel didn’t deliver either. I would strongly advise others to avoid staying here until they address these serious maintenance and hygiene issues.

Exactly as described. An older mom and pop motel which is deceiving from the outside. The room was updated, VERY CLEAN, and the bathroom was excellent. A great stay on my way home from DC. Would definitely stay again.

Staying at the Twi-Lite was like being in a time capsule in the best way. Our room was super clean, the beds were great, and we appreciated the convenience of the microwave and refrigerator in our room. Loved the retro feel of this mid century property. The pool looked pristine, although the weather was not quite warm enough for us to be tempted to use it. If we are ever back in Front Royal we would stay here again.

Good for the price but next to noisy intersection. Trucks were making loud engine noises until I fell asleep around midnight. If you are a light sleeper I would avoid this place. Hot water was not working which I assume was temporary. They gave me $10 off. Check in was easy and the owners were nice. Note they charge $1000 for pets! So basically no pets.

I absolutely love this place. The couple that runs this place is very nice. It’s an older hotel that you park right out front. I travel all over the country and these types of hotels are my favorite. It’s like going back in time to an easier and better place. My room was clean and had a coffee pot, microwave and fridge. Easy walking to food options.

The staff were very polite. The process online as well as the check-in procedure in person was easy. I called beforehand to make sure late check-in (15-30 mins) was not an issue as my significant other & I were traveling afar. The gentleman was courteous & stated it was fine. The receptionist at the front desk was very thorough. Our time there was peaceful, thank you & everyone who made our short trip relaxing.

It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The heater worked well and was quiet. The bathroom was small but everything worked well. Even though the property was on a main road, it was quiet. It felt, however a little dangerous pulling out of the parking lot since the oncoming traffic approached around a steep turn.

I love this motel! The gentleman that checked me in was wonderful. The location is close to a few restaurants and also a short walk to downtown. I have stayed here before and it is definitely going to be my go to motel whenever we come to go hiking on Skyline Drive. A very short drive to the entrance to the park.

Beau petit motel propre et près des restaurants et stations d’essence. Endroit tranquille et sécuritaire et stationnement direct devant la porte idéale pour moto. Lit confortable petite salle de bain mais propre. Si je retourne dans le coin je vais reprendre

Très beau petit motel typique, très bon rapport qualité prix et idéal pour les gens en roadtrip afin de commencer la route Skyline Line Drive dans les Blue Ridge Mountains le lendemain matin. Très sympathique propriétaire

We really enjoyed our stay at the Twi-Lite Motel. The room was on the smaller side, but it was very clean and had everything we needed. The standout feature was the shower—it had the best water pressure I've ever experienced! The property is definitely older and could use a refresh in some areas, but it's well maintained and comfortable. If you're looking for a clean, affordable place to stay in Front Royal, this is a great choice. We'll definitely be staying here anytime we visit Front Royal again!

The owner was super friendly and helpful. He gave food recommendations. I had a great stay and enjoyed the very clean pool. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

We were in town for a wedding for a couple of nights & just wanted a place to sleep that wasn't crazy expensive....The room was clean, but small and outdated. The stay was overall quiet. The room had a fridge and cold AC which was appreciated. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and well kept. The shower in the room was a little gross and the shower head was terrible. My main issue was at check-in... We booked a king room, but when we showed up to check in, they told us there was no king room available and they tried to put us in a 2 double bed room. We did not want this type of room. Then we were told they did have a king room, but it wasn't where they usually put tourists...anyways, we looked at both rooms and went with the king room-we were given a small discount on the price as well. I'm not sure why our original room was given away in the first place though. Anyways, it wasn't the worst place we've stayed, especially for the low price, but you get what you pay for. Probably wouldn't stay there again.
