The property was under renovation. Was not told that! No Tv, no wifi, not good service by staff. Had to change rooms, first one was musty smelling. Small parking lot, but was behind a locked gate.

All I would say is read all the reviews. The place is being renovated so I guess it will get better but I heard maybe it will become a bar. To advertise having WiFi then being told there is none was very frustrating. There was a kitchen unit door hanging off amongst other examples of neglect. Parts of room were actually nice. It was booked last minute as we headed south away from hurricane so choice was limited. Beach access with private section was wonderful though. Additional charges also an unpleasant surprise. At the very least it should’ve been cheap.

The swimming pool was closed and dirty. The room was booked for four, but two narrow beds. There were only towels and blankets for two. The staff was rude. The room smelled bad and the sheets were dirty. We left when we couldn't stay there and lost our money. Market images give the wrong impression of the place! Don't go in here!

The place is very run down, doesn’t provide room service, doesn’t provide clean towels, we had the same 3 small towels for 5 days. Nobody cleaned the rooms or changed the sheets, there is sand everywhere and they don’t even provide shampoo. There are no cleaning supplies or even a broom. You have to buy everything like paper towel, paper plates, plastic silverware. The pool is in a very bad condition, looks very dirty. The only advantage of this place is access to the beach. There are few broken lounge chairs in front of it for use but again no towels. It feels unsafe for the families with smell of weed and shady looking individuals around. Garbage isn’t being picked up enough and the bins outside are overflowing with spilling trash. For air conditioning you get loud window units and next door to the hotel is a big construction site with diggers and loud noise from morning to night. Will not be booking it again for sure.

First there were no amenities only access to the beach and a huge pool which they charge 20 per person as a resort fee. Parking was secure. No television, no WIFI, no Ice machine. It is run down they are remodeling which will help the property. I would stay else where.

The Pictures on line of the property are way different from actual condo.. We had no ocean view whatsoever, but an excellent view of the brick staircase. The floors were dirty inside the unit and whatever you do, don’t look under the bed. , the deadbolt did not lock, the pool was filthy, and even worse, the hot tub gray brown color with lots of dirt and debris. very noisy neighbors.. The place looks like a low income housing. They added additional fees when I got to the property. If I would’ve seen the property before I paid on line, I would’ve not taken it. After checking into the room I went back downstairs to get a refund and leave the property. All I wanted was the refund of the fees! I was going to eat the online price that I paid and leave the property but they would not refund any part of the fee. lady behind the desk was very rude n bitter! She told me that I rent the property available not the pictures kind of like a car. I travel a lot and never have I’ve seen pictures so different from the actual property. I will never stay here again. Spent a few more bucks more per night and get a outstanding resort just two properties away. The only saving grace of this entire episode was that it was on the beach. I would be surprised if this property still stands one year from now!

There is a construction site right beside the hotel. Way too expensive for the service you get. Keep in mind you have to pay 20$ USD per day for parking and 18$ USD for the resort you won't use at all. So 38$ USD per day more than the list price

Great to self park next to your room. Great beach and neighborhood. Once property is renovated it should be an excellent place to stay in Sunny Isles. Much more convenient than larger hotels like the Ramada or Newport Becahside which require expensive and inconvenient valet parking

For the money it was all right. The pool is enormous. The beach was fantastic. It is under construction right now but I can’t wait to see what it looks like. I will be here again.

OK it is old, but it's clean and the best location to enjoy the beach. Don't expect much service there. That's the last of this kind, so I encourage you to book there. The beach is awesome!

When my parents and I walked into our room, there was a dirty towel on the floor that looked like spilled wine was used to clean up. There was hair in the sink. There were poop stains in the toilet. The previous guests soap was still out on the counter. It was absolutely disgusting. There were only 3 clean towels in the room, but what about hand and face towels. Don't they have to adhere to certain cleanliness standards? I know it's not a 4 star or 5 star hotel, but come on! I went to reception and asked them to clean up the bathroom, and when I returned from dinner, everything was cleaned up except for the hair in the sink and the soap from the previous guests was still there. I was still pretty disgusted at that point. On top of that, when I tried showering before bed, black water came out of the shower and the water was pooling up as if the drain was clogged. I was standing in nasty black water pooling around at my ankles. At night reception is non-existent. So if you need anything after 7:00 pm, forget about it. In the morning I asked the reception to bring more towels and fix the shower. Nothing happened for hours. Then I found a nice looking lady and I asked her to bring me some towels. I also complained about the dirty bathroom, so she came in right away and cleaned everything up. I had to go to reception once again and only then did I make sure to watch them call the mechanic to fix the shower. Building next door is under construction. So it is very loud.

Hello, Me and 2 other friends stayed in the room from Friday to Sunday. The room was dirty, the floor was wet, there was only one toilet paper in the bathroom, one towel, we found cockroaches, on Saturday a man was following me and I felt uncomfortable, the staff were not friendly and the lighting in the place at night was not good either. I will not go back there.

This place was missing some of the basics that are needed for basic sustainability and checking in was a complete nightmare. It was dirty and we left a day early and found another place to stay because of the situation. But used Expedia instead of Hotels.com for Thursday night.

The property was very nasty. We found a few boogers on the bed. The towers is dirty. We have books for 2 nights but we have to check out only 2 hours after we check in. The place was very dirty that ours kids were not willing to take showers. Please do not make a same mistake like I did. My advice is don’t look at the cheap price because you will end up paying more to find a difference cleaner hotel to stay in.

We had read the poor reviews and booked anyway because of the location on the beach (we are pretty seasoned travelers and can tolerate old, run-down facilities). Unfortunately, its hard to tolerate filth. The sheets on the bed appeared clean, but everything else was dirty. Floor covered in gravel, sand, hair and both sinks appear to have had sitting water in them, and were caked with grim. When we let staff know the room had not appeared to be cleaned, a man brought us a mop. Just a dry mop... no broom, no bucket... With it being spring break, we could not find another place, so we stayed. Did not ever THINK about going near the pool. The beach was lovely.

This has to be the worst experience I have endured at a “hotel”, I don’t think you can even call this a hotel! First room we were told to “look at” before paying had mold all over the bed!!! Mold all in the grout of the tile. Once we found a room that worked for us, after walking around the hotel room to room the towels weren’t even clean, black marks all over, and peoples hair. Then when we asked for clean ones they didn’t have any and had to walk ROOM TO ROOM again! Honestly the worst place ever!

Very old room. Does not look like the pictures online. It is straight out of 1990. And no WiFi?? In 2025 that is unheard of. Didn’t even think to check because it is the standard.

Like you went back to the 70's. Very affordable. Great location. If you like high end do not stay here. Hotel needs work but I really liked it. Beds were comfortable. Nightly live entertainment

This a vintage motel that shows its age. It does have a beautiful beach, and a pool that looked clean. The room was worn, with cracked floor tiles and a gap under the front door big enough for a small mouse to go through. There was a party on the lower level that went on well after midnight with loud music and partying. The biggest thing I didn’t like was the gate to enter and exit the parking area. You needed to either go to the office or call them so they could go outside and kind the gate with a garage door opener. I asked the front desk how long before a developer buys it and puts up a high rise. Apparently it’s already owned by a developer that’s just waiting for the right time to redevelop the property.

It's very old property built in 1950s and I guess no work has been done since then. It was a very clean room with fresh bedlinen. You can clearly hear the neighbor behind the wall so get your earplugs if you decide to stay. Also there's no window to open for fresh air so people just keep their doors open to ventilate the air. It is the cheapest place to stay in the area and it's perfect location for beach stay.

Read the reviews people! And they range from 2 to 10! With good reason. This is one of - if not THE - cheapest beachfront spaces around - GEORGEOUS beach area - former 60's hotel, so of course it's patched and not perfect. But still standing! Turned from hotel to condo - now some units are privately owned and some are rented as a hotel. You don't get all the amenities of a hotel like an ice machine, wi-fi, our room did not have a microwave, etc. But if you want budget - and you realize you are not getting high end hotel perks, Publix is right across the street, there are multiple restaurants across the street, it's inexpensive, the beach is great - we loved it! You have to be able to roll with the punches though.

The tv didn’t have a control and no working

It served its purpose, as in it had clean sheets and a clean bathroom. However, the rooms need an upgrade. There was a hole in the wall where I presume a microwave was supposed to be, the room didn't have a coffee machine or shower towels, and the bathroom door was damaged so much that it would not close. We stayed one night of our two night stay and left early. Just really old and outdated. It does have a good location though being right on the beach.

Staff was not present and even basic amenities was not there. And when you try to reach out , you will find lock in the reception. It’s more of apartment, not a hotel

I booked this place for 3 nights through Expedia. I arrived at 6.45 PM for checkin but the reception entrance was locked and there was no response on the number posted. After 45 mts of knocking and waiting I contacted Expedia who asked me to look for other hotels and they would process a refund. After another significant amount spent for 3 nights Expedia responds that the property is refusing to refund my payment for the 3 nights there.

The property manager was extremely helpful after our flight was delayed and made arrangements for us to get into our room even though it was well passed check in time.

Worst, uncaring front desk and front desk help I've ever experienced. Any questions you might have, they just see it as a burden.

The reservation was not found at arrival. Need to have a deposit to sleep the first night.

Poor facilities condition and no customer services available in the evening.

Nice place for holiday and even business trip. Front beach. Very very friendly stuff ready to help in any situation.

Flight was late, arrived at 11:30 pm, front office was closed and under construction, no one was there to check me in. Place looked like it was falling apart, it was cheap but I ended u staying up the beach at the Ramada for about the same price.

Could not check into this hotel. No information how to check in. No one at front desk. No one answered the phone.

It's a little disappointing ay first because the old building look and loud music but you can't beat the location! The thing I like the most was the beach area. It feels like your private beach!

It is not a motel - it is a beach condo. If you unlucky - you may get a really bad old room with broken refrigerator. Maintenance is low. But it is just on the beach. Very nicr location

I had a great time Miami Florida. Hotel right on the beach and weather was beautiful 80 degrees in February. The across the street is CVS 24 hours and tons restaurants to eat but I had to pay $18 convenience resort fee per day. I had a great time there and I will go back again.

Restaurant on the premise was very expensive. They added a 15% gratuity on the bill. You have to pay $20 for parking even if you’re handicapped.

This place is terrible in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and nothing in is working there. They do not provide room service or minimum needs for staying there.
