Caribe Resort Unit C814

The unit was extremely spacious with a huge balcony. We would definitely stay here again! The resort has plenty of amenities, including several pools, a lazy river, and hot tubs. My family and I always enjoy the Caribe, and this rental was at a convenient location to the main pools with plenty of room to spread out!

Condo was nice. Had some small details that need to be addressed inside and on the complex. Condo- Light bulbs burned out, Shower missing the handle to switch from tub shower head, exterior lights didn't work, switches that lead to nothing. Ice maker was really dirty- had black algCosmetics are never perfect which if fine for our group. Complex- 3 elevators broke while we were there- One while we were on it and had to wait over an hour for somebody to locate the keys. No fault of the condo owners but should be stated that the outdoor pools are not heated. We truly enjoyed our stay and would stay again in this condo.

Nice resort .. everything in one. Great pools, hot tubs, fishing, rental boats, beach and plenty of room.

The condo was clean and had lots of amenities. The pools were fun but had lots of sand in them. The sliding glass fire going out onto the balcony was so hard to open it made going out to sit on the balcony not worth it. The space was listed as having two couches that made into beds and that was false. It needs to be fixed in the description because it is deceptive and we had to buy air mattresses. Overall our family had a great time. We will recommend it to our family and friends but they need to be more truthful on how many it will truly sleep.

The resort and the room were WONDERFUL! We had a family of 8 and had plenty of space in this room. The views of the ocean and harbor were beautiful. The pools at Caribe, the trolley to the beach boardwalk, and the service were all outstanding. The pictures of the room were spot on with what we experienced upon arrival. My family and I will look to book this exact room for our next trip to Orange Beach!!

The resort is absolutely amazing! So many things to do we barely had to leave for entertainment. Perfect for families. Shuttle to and from beach was so convenient. I do have to say, it’s a little confusing at first because there aren’t many signs that explain things, but after an hour or two of exploring, it starts to make sense.

The lazy river is the best thing ever invented. It was incredibly relaxing. Also the number of pools on the property meant none of the pools were crowded.

My boyfriend and I have stayed in several different places in Orange Beach, including other units in this resort. This one was so great! The unit was spotless, had plenty of towels and blankets, and was decorated nicely. We will definitely come back to this unit on our next viait!

My family stayed in the room with the two queen beds. The beds were comfortable and room was great but the bathroom door seemed to have some water damage, the toilet hardly ever flushed and there was black spots/mildew on the ceiling around the vent. Overall it was a good stay and we enjoyed it.

Amazing place to stay for people with kids in different age ranges. The rooms were great and were very clean.

Location was awesome host I found to be very rude and not hospitable condo lacked love. Arrived couch was stained dirty everywhere and covered in hair clumps. Ashes all out back on balcony broken chair out back broken garbage disposal jacuzzi tub doesn’t work microwave has to be held shut to start black mold poorly painted over remotes didn’t work did not have batteries Host offered to send cleaners out again right after we got there but said couch would be wet. We could use it then for hrs. I went with 5 teen girls. Some stayed in room at times alone I could not have random men go up there without me there. The excuse I got over and over again was that the rental has had no break in time between rents. It got to point to were I didn’t even want to talk to host cause they were not accommodating

Just an FYI. Cleaning could be improved. Not a deal breaker. Some of the lights didn’t work. Overall we had a fabulous time We will definitely rent again.

The condo was perfect for 2 huge families; 4 adults and 10 children ranging from 17 to 3, plenty of room and everything we needed! The resort offered so many fun activities, even during the rain! We will definitely book again.

Myself, my husband and three children stayed here along with my brother-in-law's family of 5. It was the perfect amount of room for all 10 of us. Even though the balcony overlooks the parking lot, you have a beautiful view of the ocean beyond that. There is PLENTY of seating on the balcony, and even a deck box with some beach toys. On the other side of the balcony you can see the bay and the boat docks. Bring your fishing rods! The kitchen was pretty well equipped (minus a corkscrew). We would definitely stay there again!All that being said there were a few minor issues:(None of these are deal-breakers at all) The internet is unreliable. Both the resort internet and the condo internet kept going in and out all week. (mostly out)The TV only has cable channels, and not many apps for us to sign into for the kids to watch at night. (Luckily there was a Spongebob marathon each night. :)) The main sliding glass door in the living room is very hard to open. It kept getting stuck on the track, so we ended up using the doors in the rooms instead. The deadbolt on the front door automatically engages BEFORE you close the door, so you have to play with the handle to get the door to close. The hook on the door to the bunk room is broken off, so it's hard to open and close for privacy. The landline wasn't working (wouldn't normally be an issue, but we needed an extra parking pass for a guest, and had to call security from a landline inside the building)

We had a fantastic stay at the Aqua Vacations 3bd condo at Caribe Resort! The condo was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed with stunning views of the Gulf and bay. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was incredibly responsive. Great for boaters, too! Highly recommend for a family vacation!

The unit is a bit out of date and has some plumbing issues but okay for a short getaway. Close proximity to the beach and access to multiple pools is a plus. Plenty of activities in the area.

Checking in did not go smoothly. I was asked both through email and text what time I would be there. I replied “4pm”. Our key was not under the mat like I was told. They kept telling me someone was on the way. We had 3 carts of luggage, golf clubs and groceries waiting outside our door while we stood there waiting for a key. They were over an hour late getting us into our unit.

The property itself is older but very nice. Everything you could need to enjoy your stay is on the property. We have no complaints or changes needed to the property itself. My biggest and most concerning issue is the help from hostess. We arrived and the ac did not work. Middle of spring break it’s hot outside and there’s no ac. We messaged the hat option for the host, no response until a day or so later. We call the number to call the host, apparently they are just a managing property company, who every time we called. No matter what information we gave them could find our reservation or even the location. But it was the same number they called and left a message from before we came. We finally had to go through vrbo every time to get someone to tell them ac had to be fixed. First night and day no ac. When we finally got ahold of someone, well vrbo did and did a three way call they couldn’t tell us when it could be fixed just that they left a message w the maintenance people it needed to be done. The vrbo representative was even trying to fight on our behalf to get the problem resolved asking to speak to someone higher up and what else could do. It’s a great place, but will never stay again because of the communication or lack of for the condo itself.

Really enjoyed the condo and the resort just would’ve liked some better communication regarding parking, and rules of the resort.

My husband and I took our two children (14 and 11) to stay at the Caribe Resort for the first time. I used VRBO. I must say the condo was great. The booking service WAS LESS THAN convenient. It took five-plus times for the app/emails to work to take my payment. Finally, a lady called (3 different times) because the payment processing would not work. (Not my fault, but because they'd changed their credit card processing company). Finally, it went through. I received an email reminding me that my last payment was due. I used the link on the email and tried to pay. PROBLEMS AGAIN. It took multiple attempts and it finally worked from a desktop computer. It was time to check-in. There were no instructions. Not even a room number. All I had was "Check-in at 4:00 p.m. Checkout at 10:00 a.m." The lady at the guard shack was RUDE. My children labeled her "Mrs. Personality." [Thankfully every other employee was awesome]. She allowed us to go in on a one-hour pass. I went to building B to see if they could give us any info. There was a very nice lady at the desk (I wish I remembered her name). She was able to help me find my room number but told me that was the only info she had. There were no keys. Nothing. She suggested looking under the doormat at the room. It was there. ONE KEY. There were two hanging passes inside (Blank), but only one key. We were able to park and unload. The rest of the trip was great. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels/rags. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking pots/pans. The balcony was the best. We had views of the gulf and the porch wrapped around to the bay. Our children loved the multiple pools and slides. Everyone's favorite was the lazy river. We will definitely stay there again, but will NOT USE HOSTEEVA for booking (through VRBO). One area of concern was the shower in the bedroom we stayed in. It was SCALDING HOT and would change instantly during the shower and you could not turn it back to cold. My husband called the owner to warn him of the danger and he was not concerned. "It's just that way," he said. All of that said, we LOVED Caribe. However, we will book through the actual resort next time, not Hosteeva/VRBO.

Area is nice. Across the bridge from the primary area but not far. Still a car ride. Room was great C813. Caribe has a lot of amenities but is outdated and needs some work. Great

Beach is across the street

Our family had a great time in Orange Beach and the condo was in a great location for all our activities.

We loved the pools, lazy river, steam room, and area. The beach was a little bit of a walk from the shuttle services but was beautiful and not crowded. We had two families/10 people and the condo was spacious for us all. Condo was clean and everything functioned well. Only issues was some water under the kitchen titles. Would stay again!

Great place to stay. So many amenities. Cobalt restaurant was tops. It is a hike to the beach, but they have a golf cart trolly to help you get there. The snow come place “Frost Bites” was amazing. Great stuffed snow cones.
