Hotel Monte Carlo

I head to Orlando about five times a year. I've stayed at probably 100 different hotels in the area but the Monte Carlo was a first, based on the great reviews. This is an older, two-story motel that has been renovated. While the bath and bedroom have been updated, there's still many challenges this place has. First off, it's right on 192 and the noise level (even with curtains drawn, A/C unit on, and door tightly shut) can be quite loud. In addition to the traffic...which runs from early morning to late night...there's also noise from other rooms, the parking lot and the walkway in front of the rooms. Secondly, the pool sits in the parking lot and right in front of all the rooms which face it. You may feel "on display" as you take a dip. There's not a single plant or tree surrounding it. It's just concrete with water. My room had some extra challenges. Being on the second floor, I realized there was no elevator. Not a big deal for me (I'm a hiker) but it got a bit old when I had to go down to report my remote control wasn't working, get something from my Jeep, or go out to eat or grab something from the store. Lastly, they don't offer bar soap or shampoo/conditioner bottles, instead electing for dispensers. That's fine but not so great when you're in the shower and realize they haven't been filled. I will say the staff was nice and the area was clean. Still, there's much better (and quiter) places to stay.

Amenities were fine. Older property.. rooms clean, elevators dirty. Air conditioners were great, pools were nice, I enjoyed the balcony and views.

Price. Location. Parking. Service

The hotel was in a good location for disney but i chose this one as it had a pool. The pool was not maintained and was dirty and green so was unable to use. The room was clean although we did have to ask for clean towels.. Its noisy as right on the road and you can hear other guests as walls are thin. Staff was friendly and helpful..

Great place. Older property being refurbished. Clean with new beds. Bathrooms remodeled. Only disappointed that the pool was closed 😔

The pool was green, the room was not made up when I returned.

Towels daily, pool was perfect temp and not over chlorinated. Will stay here again if we return to Orlando.

Friendly front desk, an older property, but it is well maintained and updated. Very clean. Convenient parking.

Room was super clean. Outside looks run down but the room was awesome. Great value for the money. Not sure why a copy of my drivers license was needed though. Never had that happen anywhere else.

Location was good. Called ahead to make sure it was an ADA room because husband can't walk. Got to room & no grab bars whatsoever & low toilet. Also, two inches of open space around door on sides & bottom. Any crawly creatures could enter. My husband opened refrigerator & pancakes were in it. The next morning I went to make coffee and there were two used coffee pods that were never removed.from pot. The kicker was the third day I went to use the microwave & two big pieces of supreme pizza were in it. The first night, I took my shoes off & when I looked at bottom of feet they were as black as coal. Had to go to office for washcloths. Room only had one. Also, only half a roll of toiletpaper. I asked the staff when room was cleaned last. Reply was last person didn't work there anymore.

Floor was ridiculously dirty. My girlfriend walked around barefoot on the floor for 5 minutes and feet were caked in dirt. There were fruit flies flying around the room constantly. The toilet made a whistling noise after use. There was a hole in the floor. Staff were not present around 6:15 am to check out and no one was in until 9. Decent amount of graffiti on the fence surrounding the area and looked far worse in person than the pictures. Not sure how/why it was rated so high.

The location and price was ok but definitely not clean. As soon as we walked in, I leaned on a table and sticky stuff got on my pants, surfaces were not really cleaned. Worst was the shower, the shower door had soap scum all over it and in the hinges on the floor, it had that slimy mold from lack of cleaning.

It was very clean and tidy but the soap dispensers were empty and barely any towels

The hand soap container was empty, the beige blanket had someone hair all over it,😠 in which I was unable to utilize one of the blanket, one of our bathroom towels wasn’t clean.

Unclean bedding, towels,face rags and rags and no blanket,comforter for guest to feel comfortable,warm when sleeping. No lotion, just a tiny bar hand soap bar,could use some bettwr toiletries. Sink leaking, bathtub dirty,old, , very unpleasant service.

Interior of room was updated, clean and very spacious. Exterior needs updating. You could see daylight wide thru the door jam even after locked and latched. Maybe weather stripping is in order.

Will stay again! Clean, solid wifi, updated furniture and bathroom. Food options within walking distance, but everything near the hotel is strip malls. You can also hear the traffic from the road. These are minor issues compared to the overall value.

Room was spacious and clean, very nice, had no problems and the bed was comfortable and the pillows too. The area is very central and easy to get to eating places and the highway.

Door was not seal well so alot of traffic noise.

Loud, window had broken seal front door had a huge gapp all the way around the door let hot air and noise in I tryed using bath towels didn’t help it was hot and very noisy being on Ty 192. It was clean but couldn’t sleep I left a day early to get some sleep

One of the best for a low budget hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. Easy drive to the Disney parks.

This motel does not clean rooms daily. Rooms are vey dark. Bathrooms are small and tight. It is not a good hotel to work remotely from, which was the reason I picked to stay there.

We were in room 110. Overall, the room was satisfactory and the staff was very helpful. However, the door, while locked, showed a lot of light around it. The bathroom door drags on the tile floor, causing the base to deteriorate. The bathroom door in Room 102 (my son's room) has the same issue. This can be solved by shaving the bottom of the door off and securing the bottom of the door with a kick-plate and screws. I would have no problem coming back to this hotel in the future.

Terrible experience! I had a confirmed reservation, but when I arrived there was absolutely no one to check me in or give me the key. I was left standing outside with no support, no working contact number, and completely abandoned. This is an outrageous lack of respect and professionalism. This place should not even be allowed to advertise as a hotel — it feels like a scam. Never again, and I strongly warn others to stay away!

Alright, I stayed here well over a Month and it was the calmest, cleanest & quietest experience for me at a hotel for this length of time. The hotel manager, Ms. Carmen is a very kind and wonderful human being. She’s very attentive & fair. The rooms are cleaned immaculate for the next guests. Thank you for the warm hospitality 💙💙

Our stay at the Monte Carlo Inn Motel was less than ideal from the start. We checked in around 11:30 PM after a full day at Disney, which is well within their advertised 2 AM check-in window. However, the staff member on duty seemed rushed and informed us we “almost missed him,” implying he was about to leave early. Sure enough, he checked us in quickly and left, taping a phone number to the office door in case we needed anything. Once inside the room, we immediately noticed the sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain properly. With no one on-site to assist, we were stuck with the issue for the night. The most frustrating part? We were charged a $50 deposit upon check-in, which was never refunded. Despite reaching out, we received no follow-up or resolution. Overall, this stay felt unprofessional and unreliable. Between the lack of customer service, maintenance issues, and the missing deposit, it felt more like a scam than hospitality.

My stay was ok. But when we were going to check out there was a handwritten note on the door to the reception saying they would be in later that day. We were able to put the key in a box but we still haven't received the deposit back despite emailing/calling them several times.

Terrible service, I wanted to check in late and I was left without a reservation, I was charged from my card for the room and the person who was in the place tells me that I had no reservation and super rude, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL, it is the worst !!

Started with the desk clerk- very friendly, explained everything with ease and was very prompt and efficient

Spend your money elsewhere. Tons of places in the area to choose from. The customer service is poor.

The front desk associates were not friendly. The man seemed like he was irritated. The next morning my husband and I was woke up out our sleep to roofing work done on a Saturday morning right above our room. I can say the room seemed cleaned but I have a very high opinion of good customer service. Both associates lacked it. My husband and I was going to stay an extra night, but because of the rude service we decided not to.

For the price it doesn’t get much better than the Monte Carlo. I paid $50 for the night and the property was quiet. Adjacent to eats and public transportation. $10 Lyft to Disney Springs. There is a $50 deposit on the room. It’s not the Ritz, but I’d stay here again at this price point.

Good stay close to airport

My wife and I stayed here for a week to visit the theme parks and we had a nice time. We usually stay a bit closer to the parks but we decided to give this place a try and it was pretty good. The rooms are clean and the area is very quiet. Plenty of food options around the area and if you are taking a bus, they have plenty stops close by the hotel. Its no frills, straight to the point and worth the price you pay. If your looking for a quick stay and not wanting to break the bank then I highly recommend this place. Would definitely stay here again

This hotel is older, but it is well-maintained and clean, with great staff. It’s right on the highway, so there is some noise from the road, but the property itself is quiet.

This hotel suit my needs. clean, quiet, ample space. I’ll definitely stay here again when traveling to Orlando in the near future. The gentleman in the front desk is very friendly and polite.

Liked the place the location was pretty good, close to universal resorts it takes around 24min

This property was good for the price we paid. It is in a good location. The shower is large and there is lots of space. The property is in a great location close to restaurants and shopping. It was perfect for our short stay.
