Good-Nice Staff, Parking, Good Breakfast. Bad-Could not get room keys for an hour-programming issue, gave us wrong room to start, Smell of cigarettes in the bathroom (coming from another room), Blood on the curtains, Old dingy pillow cases. Place has gone downhill.

1. We really liked the handy little drawers in the bathroom. 2. Loved the barn door bathroom and the soap/shampoo dispensers. 3. the hot tub didn't work- no bubbles, water looked dirty, railing was broken- for some time judging by the rust. 4. The chlorine in the pool was so severe I got a bad rash, this is with showering right away. It discolored several of the swimsuits of our family. When we complained about it the staff said it was checked regularly. I am a maintenance person and know you have to verify by testing it yourself. I wish I could send a pic of the damaged swimsuit. Even after washing the clothes they still smell like bleach. One of the primary reasons for staying at Hampton Inn is the pool. The overall experience was better than other stays at competitors.

Everything was good. But Saturday night a couple of adults was hanging out in the lobby. Not noisy at all but we was told that area closed in 10 minutes had no idea lobby’s closed overnight. Other then that it was good but also no housekeeping.

Check-in staff was very nice and efficient. The room was extremely spacious and clean. Right off the interstate 80 and easy to park. We would definitely stay there again! Could not have been happier with this property.

I was only there for one night, but when the breakfast buffet that is served until 10 am ran out of dark roast by 7:30 and the light roast ran out not long after, I asked the front desk person if they were going to refill it. She said, "Uh, I don't know," and went back to texting. Also, I know fitness rooms aren't the top of everyone's must have list, but two of the three treadmills weren't working, the elliptical made a clunking noise, and there were no sprays or anything to wipe equipment down. No hand sanitizer, either. These were important pre-pandemic, even. Otherwise, the room was comfy the staff checking me in and out were friendly, and the breakfast offered up plenty of options for everyone.

We stay in Des Moines often for doctor visits, this may be our favorite! The breakfast was very good with a nice variety. The pool is clean and spacious. My son loves the hot tub. Great location, not too busy, near food and shopping.

I really enjoyed the clean modern look and feel of the room. I felt safe and comfortable. Breakfast options were great. The hallways had an unpleasant smell both days and the elliptical machine was super squeaky.

The sheets had black hair in them and didn’t look clean. Looked like they made the bed but didn’t change the sheets! Fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Our towels didn’t have anymore “fluff” to them. But the beds themself were comfortable, and front desk people were great!

I had to issues with the hotel. First of all, the television kept turning off after 30 minutes. It looked like sleep mode was on, but there didn't seem to be any way to turn it off. Also, in order to use the WIFI, you had to create an account. The second day, I could connect to WIFI but there was no internet connection. The third day, I couldn't even connect to WIFI.

I had to issues with the hotel. First of all, the television kept turning off after 30 minutes. It looked like sleep mode was on, but there didn't seem to be any way to turn it off. Also, in order to use the WIFI, you had to create an account. The second day, I could connect to WIFI but there was no internet connection. The third day, I couldn't even connect to WIFI.

The bed wasn't comfortable and the pillows inside the pillow cases were obviously old (yellowed). Room was a bit noisy and a strange configuration. Just wasn't quite as good overall as I expected.

Ok hotel, internet was good, room clean, nice service. Breakfirst was just ok, My review is affected by my desire for a good breakfast, I would like sausage and bacon, soft cooked eggs, I suggest you look at breakfast at virgin hotel in Chicago, I would be ready to pay a little extra for a better breakfast

Staff was great. There is a sliding door on the bathroom that has a gap which lacks privacy. I would only stay here again if I were alone. I stayed with my sister and brother in law which made the door akward since you could see in and hear everything

Stayed in room 127. The room was fine but it is right next to the breakfast kitchen. The large refrigerator that was on the other side of the wall hummed all night, and they started preparing for breakfast at 5am. Cabinets slamming and dishes clanging. No sleep at all!

Auto set thermostat set to 63 degrees at night. Had to sleep in my jacket becaue it took 3 tries to manually reset. Watered down oj at breakfast, vending machines that don't work.

The room was very clean, well lit, and spacious. The bathroom was awesome; lots of space and a good layout. Night check in staff were super nice and friendly; promptly helping me get checked in and even gave me a couple of complementary bottles of water. Would definitely stay here again!!

Charged us two different times, when we already paid for our hotel. First time they refunded us, money went back into our account. Now we’re home 6 hours away, and they charged us again this morning. Completely disappointing as this could’ve severely ruined someone’s trip.

I learned to not book Hilton properties through third parties like Expedia. For the same amount of money my friend got 3 times bigger room because he booked through Hilton Honors. the hotel staff gave me a room next to the elevator. They said they couldn’t give me any other room for my type of booking. I am really disappointed that I booked through Expedia.

We have stayed there several times. Usually we are given bottles of water for the room. This time the clerk did not want to and they did nothing for us. Our room was nice as usual but across from ours was some kids who pounded on doors all night and were loud. We had to call the front desk and they did resolve it promptly. The hotel lost its luster for us.

The gentleman who checked me in was the BEST! He truly went above and beyond and made a 10 hour of driving day worth it to walk through the door!

Newer hotel in area that is under construction. Room/bed comfortable. Culver's within walking distance. Convenient to I35/I80. Breakfast was nothing special. Their system was down when I checked out, still waiting for receipt. Cheaper than Hampton Inn Jordan creek I stayed at previously. Assuming nothing changes, i'll stay here again.

Wasn’t the best stay. This was a family stay for basketball tournament. The good: clean, comfy beds, close to food and shopping. That’s it. The bad: Jam packed full of people using lobby for drinking alcohol/eating. Kids running around like crazy. Breakfast was terrible; toaster broken, everything was out, Oj water logged, no creamer for coffee. You name it everything out. No plug for tub drain so no bath. People above us were stomping like elephants. Horrendous! Will never stay here again.

Disappointing for a Hilton property; but adequate. For a newer hotel, the room showed a lot of wear and tear. Lighting in the room was all fluorescent. Terrible. No room service. Breakfast was inadequate. Poor selection and quality.

We stayed here before- and it was a great stay. Quiet, clean, and great breakfast. 2021. This visit. The room was reserved for 4 adults. There was only 3 tiny bath towels in the room. 1 roll of toilet paper and one of the towels had stains. The front desk would not answer the phone to bring more and when my husband went down to get some the guy handed him brand new towels that had never been washed, he told him they were out of clean towels. They were super stiff! The part we looked forward to was the breakfast from last time and today we arrived plenty of time before it closed and there was 2 pieces of toast in the large bread container- no oatmeal - it was empty. No bagels. The waffle batter was very almost empty. There was a batch of biscuits and gravy and a few scrambled eggs left. We asked the cook where the sausage and proteins were like last visit and he just waved his hand in are and said that’s all he had. We will not be back. Yes everything is expensive but people pay for an experience and things have gone down hill here.

I was only there for one night, but when the breakfast buffet that is served until 10 am ran out of dark roast by 7:30 and the light roast ran out not long after, I asked the front desk person if they were going to refill it. She said, "Uh, I don't know," and went back to texting. Also, I know fitness rooms aren't the top of everyone's must have list, but two of the three treadmills weren't working, the elliptical made a clunking noise, and there were no sprays or anything to wipe equipment down. No hand sanitizer, either. These were important pre-pandemic, even. Otherwise, the room was comfy the staff checking me in and out were friendly, and the breakfast offered up plenty of options for everyone.

Auto set thermostat set to 63 degrees at night. Had to sleep in my jacket becaue it took 3 tries to manually reset. Watered down oj at breakfast, vending machines that don't work.

We stay in Des Moines often for doctor visits, this may be our favorite! The breakfast was very good with a nice variety. The pool is clean and spacious. My son loves the hot tub. Great location, not too busy, near food and shopping.

It was our first time at a Hampton Inn. We arrived late and went straight to bed. The next morning we noticed food in the fridge, a used towel on a top shelf, an open and used bar of soap, and other things that led us to believe the room wasn't cleaned. The front desk was apologetic. I wish we would have checked the room thoroughly, but we were exhausted. We drove from Nevada and back. This was the most expensive room of our trip and most disappointing.

This is our favorite hotel in the Des Moines area! We go there a few times a year for my son's doctor's appointments. The breakfast is great with a nice variety (waffles, cereal, eggs, potatoes, sausages, muffins, toast and bagels). They had a berry waffle batter and it was so delicious! The pool is good size and very clean. The hot tub is also a favorite of ours! I needed to use the business center for a few zoom classes, it's nice they have it. We had no issues and the staff was great! We stayed in one of their bigger rooms and it's perfect for a family of four!
